LeBlanc ARAM Build and Guide

Updated for patch 26.21. Ability text follows Riot’s official game data for this patch; ARAM balance numbers are from the League of Legends Wiki’s champion data.

A LeBlanc ARAM build is a burst mage build: Luden’s Echo, Stormsurge, Rabadon’s Deathcap and Zhonya’s Hourglass on Sorcerer’s Shoes. She’s buffed on the Howling Abyss with 110% damage dealt, 90% damage taken and 20 bonus Ability Haste, which shortens the wait between combos in a lane where her return pad is never far from danger.

We matched each item to her patch 26.21 kit and the item descriptions; win rates didn’t come into it.

What are LeBlanc’s ARAM buffs?

ARAM modifier LeBlanc
Damage dealt 110%
Damage taken 90%
Ability Haste 20

LeBlanc gets help on every line Riot uses for her. She deals 110% damage, takes 90%, and gets a flat 20 Ability Haste before buying anything. Why help an assassin? On the Rift she picks off a lone target and vanishes; here, everyone stands together, Distortion lands her in front of five people, and the return pad is often in range of their poke too (a LeBlanc ARAM game is a very different job from solo lane). The haste matters most, since her whole game is the gap between one combo and the next.

How does LeBlanc’s kit work on one lane?

Riot’s patch 26.21 data:

  • Mirror Image (passive): dropping low makes her invisible for 1 second and leaves a harmless clone for up to 8 seconds.
  • Sigil of Malice (Q): marks a target for 3.5 seconds, and her next ability hit detonates it; a kill refunds Mana and cooldown. Cooldown 6.
  • Distortion (W): dashes to a spot with damage on arrival, and can be recast within 4 seconds to return. Cooldown 15/13.75/12.5/11.25/10.
  • Ethereal Chains (E): shackles the first enemy hit, rooting them after 1.5 seconds. Cooldown 14/13.25/12.5/11.75/11.
  • Mimic (R): a second, mimicked cast of one basic spell. Cooldown 45/35/25.

Mimic is where ARAM changes her plan. On the Rift, the usual choice is a second Sigil for single-target burst; on the Howling Abyss, a mimicked Distortion can hit several clumped enemies, and a mimicked Ethereal Chains gives her a second root for picks. Sigil of Malice’s kill refund also fires more often in fights where low-Health champions are everywhere. The weak spot? Distortion’s return pad. Thing is, in a narrow lane, the spot she dashed from is usually still inside enemy range.

What is the best LeBlanc ARAM build?

Luden’s Echo first. Echo fires 6 bursts of bonus magic damage at the target and nearby enemies whenever her abilities deal damage, which turns a single Distortion into area damage on a crowded lane. The 600 Mana keeps her casting without a recall.

Second, Stormsurge. Stormraider applies Squall once she deals 25% of a champion’s max Health within 2.5 seconds, an easy threshold for a full combo, and Squall hits again after 2 seconds, spreading to nearby enemies if the target dies first. Its 6% Move Speed helps with Distortion follow-ups.

A burst mage’s third slot is easy: Rabadon’s Deathcap, whose Magical Opus multiplies her Ability Power by an extra 30% (plus 130 flat). Finish with Zhonya’s Hourglass: if the return pad is in a bad spot, 2.5 seconds of Stasis buys time for the enemy’s crowd control to go elsewhere. Sorcerer’s Shoes give 12 Magic Penetration.

How should LeBlanc start fights?

  • Sigil, then Distortion. Any ability damage detonates the mark, and the dash hits everyone near its landing.
  • Mimic Distortion into groups. A second dash hits another cluster of champions.
  • Return only when the pad is safe. You have 4 seconds to recast Distortion.
  • Chain the target who can’t dodge. Ethereal Chains roots after 1.5 seconds.
  • Use health relics to stay in range for the next combo. There’s no recall.

Which summoner spells and fountain buys suit LeBlanc?

Summoners lock in the lobby. Flash pairs with Distortion for long engages or long escapes. Mark is an option for an assassin, since a snowball hit gives her a dash onto a backliner while Distortion is saved for getting out. Honestly, Flash is more reliable when the enemy team has hard crowd control.

Gold turns into items only when she stands in the fountain: at the start, then after every death. Luden’s Echo on the first trip back is the target (for a LeBlanc ARAM opener, nothing else comes close). Health relics fill the gaps between fights.

Is LeBlanc good in ARAM?

With three buffs (110% damage dealt, 90% damage taken, 20 Ability Haste), she’s playable and fun, though not as dominant as in solo lane. Mimic Distortion into clumps does real damage. The risk is her return pad sitting inside enemy range.

The LeBlanc counters guide lists who stops her dash, and every look she has is on the LeBlanc skins page.

In practice, the LeBlanc ARAM build is Luden’s Echo, Stormsurge, Rabadon’s Deathcap and Zhonya’s Hourglass on Sorcerer’s Shoes: Sigil first, Distortion into the group, Mimic the dash, and return only when it’s safe.

FAQ

Is LeBlanc buffed in ARAM?

Yes. She deals 110% damage, takes 90% damage and gets 20 bonus Ability Haste (patch 26.21 Wiki data).

Which spell should LeBlanc Mimic?

Distortion, usually. A second dash hits another group of clumped enemies.

Why build Luden’s Echo on LeBlanc?

Because every damaging spell she casts sets off Echo, which splashes extra magic damage onto the target and anyone close by.

How long can LeBlanc return with Distortion?

For 4 seconds after the dash, she can recast it to return to her starting location.

How was this LeBlanc build chosen?

From her patch 26.21 kit and item texts: magic burst, clumped targets and a return pad close to danger. No win-rate data was used.
