K'Sante

K'Sante Skins

3 skins available

K'Sante dropped into the game in November 2022 and Riot gave him skins almost immediately. Three skins total for a champion thats been around less than two years. Not gonna lie, that's a pace most older champions would kill for. Been playing K'Sante since his release patch, locked him in maybe 150 ranked games across two seasons, and the skin situation is interesting because every option actually changes how the champion feels on screen. Small catalog but zero duds. That's rare.

K'Sante's Skin Collection So Far

Three skins. That's the whole library right now. Two Epics at 1350 RP and one Mythic Prestige edition. For a champion released in late 2022, the coverage is decent. Riot clearly saw K'Sante as a flagship top laner and invested early.

Empyrean K'Sante launched alongside the champion himself. Day one skin. Then the Prestige Empyrean variant came with it as part of the Worlds 2022 event pass if I remember right. HEARTSTEEL K'Sante followed in 2023 tied to the music event. So the year range is tight, 2022 to 2023, and then nothing since.

Could be wrong here but I think K'Sante is due for something new soon. Season 14 came and went with no new skin for him. That gap is starting to feel noticeable when you're spamming him in ranked and cycling between the same three options. The tier breakdown leans Epic heavy which makes sense for a newer champion. No Legendary yet. No Ultimate obviously. Just two solid 1350 RP skins and a Prestige that you either grinded for or you didn't.

What stands out about K'Sante's catalog is consistency. There's no throwaway 520 RP recolor dragging down the average. Every skin got real attention from the art team. New particles on abilities, new recall animations, distinct color palettes. Feels like Riot learned from older champions where half the catalog is forgettable texture swaps from 2011.

The flip side is variety. Three skins, two skinlines. If you want a dark fantasy K'Sante or a silly bee costume K'Sante, tough luck. The options right now are "cosmic energy warrior" and "music superstar." That's it. Hoping season 15 brings something different to the table.

Best Skins for K'Sante

Honestly not gonna lie, ranking three skins feels almost unnecessary. But there's still a clear order when you actually play with them in Diamond games.

HEARTSTEEL K'Sante sits at the top for me. The music theme translates perfectly to his kit. His W charge-up has this bass drop visual that just hits. When you're channeling that ability in a teamfight and the ground pulses with speaker vibrations, it reads so clean. The Q stab animations feel snappier somehow, might be placebo, but the sound design sells it. His ult transformation, where he goes All Out, switches the whole color scheme from warm golds to electric blue. Sick transition. Been running this skin exclusively since about March 2023 in my ranked games and I keep coming back to it over the alternatives.

Empyrean K'Sante is the original launch skin and it's still good. Real good actually. The Empyrean line gives him this cosmic purple and teal palette that looks premium on the Rift. His ntofa (the weapon he carries) gets this crystalline energy effect. Q pokes in lane have a sharper particle trail compared to base. W shield visually wraps around him with these geometric patterns. R transformation goes from composed to unhinged with the Empyrean energy cracking through his model. For 1350 RP its a complete package.

(Random sidebar: I used Empyrean K'Sante as my phone wallpaper for like three months after he released. The splash is that clean.)

Prestige Empyrean K'Sante takes the Empyrean base and goes white and gold. Classic Prestige formula. The particles shift warmer, more golden. Does it justify the grind it took to get during the Worlds 2022 event? Kinda feels like that depends on how much you value exclusivity. The skin itself plays identically to regular Empyrean with a premium color swap. Looks incredible in loading screen though. If you have it, you flex it. Simple as that.

My personal ranking after playing all three extensively in top lane: HEARTSTEEL first, Empyrean second, Prestige third. But I've seen K'Sante one-tricks in my games who swear by the Prestige variant. Preference thing.

Skinlines and Thematic Fit

Two skinlines represented. Empyrean and HEARTSTEEL. Both feel like natural fits for K'Sante which is lucky because sometimes Riot forces champions into themes that dont work at all.

The Empyrean line is this cosmic warrior aesthetic. Think celestial energy, otherworldly power, purple-teal gradients. For K'Sante, a champion whose whole identity is being a composed warrior who breaks his own limits, the Empyrean theme tracks. The "beyond mortal" energy of the skinline maps onto his All Out form perfectly. When he ults and transforms, the Empyrean version sells that power shift harder than base does. Season 12 Worlds event really popped off with this line.

HEARTSTEEL is the boy band skinline. K'Sante as a music artist. Sounds weird on paper. Works incredibly well in practice. Real talk though, the HEARTSTEEL line is one of Riot's better music projects. K'Sante fits because his animations already have this rhythmic quality to them. The way he swings his ntofa, the cadence of his Q combo, it all syncs with the musical theme. His recall has him vibing with headphones. The bass-heavy sound effects on his abilities feel intentional, not forced.

What's missing? Something darker. K'Sante's lore has weight to it. A Blood Moon K'Sante or Dark Star K'Sante could be incredible. Maybe High Noon for the western duel fantasy. His kit screams "lone warrior facing impossible odds" and there's skinlines that would amplify that better than cosmic or music themes. Might be overthinking it but I think a serious, grounded skinline would round out his catalog nicely.

Budget vs Premium Options

Here's the thing about K'Sante's catalog. There is no budget option. Lowest price is 1350 RP. Both purchasable skins cost the same. The Prestige version you can't buy with RP at all, it was an event exclusive.

So if you're climbing ranked with K'Sante and want a skin, you're spending 1350 either way. Good news is both Epics earn that price. Neither feels like a lazy cash grab. HEARTSTEEL edges out Empyrean on value for me because the sound design adds a layer Empyrean doesn't have, but honestly you're getting a solid skin either way at that price point. 1350 feels fair for what both deliver.

If you main K'Sante and play him 5+ games a week like I do some patches, owning both makes sense. They're different enough thematically that switching between them keeps things fresh. One game you're the cosmic warrior, next game you're the music star. Variety within a small collection.

For someone who plays K'Sante occasionally, just grab HEARTSTEEL. One skin, 1350 RP, best bang for your RP in his catalog. Done.

No cheap 520 or 750 RP option exists here. K'Sante came out in the era where Riot stopped making those lower-tier skins entirely. Every skin he gets from now on will probably be 1350 minimum. Worth knowing if you're budgeting your RP across multiple champions.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many skins does K'Sante have?

K'Sante has 3 skins total as of right now. Two Epic tier skins at 1350 RP each and one Mythic Prestige variant from the Worlds 2022 event. Small catalog but the champion only released in November 2022 so give it time. Expect more by end of season 15 I think.

What is the best K'Sante skin?

HEARTSTEEL K'Sante for me. The sound design on abilities is incredible, the ult transformation looks clean, and the whole music theme fits his kit better than you'd expect. Been spamming it in Diamond for over a year. Empyrean is close second though. Honestly cant go wrong with either.

What is the cheapest K'Sante skin?

Both purchasable K'Sante skins cost 1350 RP. No budget option exists. He released in 2022 when Riot stopped making cheap skins basically. If 1350 is too much, wait for the Your Shop discount or a sale rotation. Otherwise base K'Sante is free and looks solid on its own.

Does K'Sante have a Legendary skin?

Nope. No Legendary for K'Sante yet. His highest tier is the Mythic Prestige Empyrean variant. Feels like a Legendary is overdue honestly. His kit with the All Out transformation would benefit massively from a full VO and animation overhaul. Riot is probably sitting on one. Just a matter of when.

What skinlines is K'Sante in?

Two skinlines right now. Empyrean, the cosmic warrior theme that launched with him at Worlds 2022, and HEARTSTEEL, the music boy band line from 2023. Both fit him surprisingly well. Different vibes entirely though. Cosmic power versus musical energy. Would love to see him in something darker next, maybe Blood Moon or Dark Star.

Does K'Sante have chromas?

Both Epic skins have chromas available. Empyrean K'Sante and HEARTSTEEL K'Sante each got chroma sets on release. The Prestige variant doesn't have chromas, thats just the one version. If you want color variety within a skin you already own, the chroma packs add decent options for a few hundred RP extra.

When was K'Sante's last skin released?

HEARTSTEEL K'Sante in 2023. That's the most recent one. Been over a year with no new skin which is a long gap for a champion Riot clearly invested in early. Season 14 passed him by completely. Expecting something in 2025 but no official announcements yet that I've seen.

Is K'Sante worth buying skins for?

If you play K'Sante regularly in ranked, absolutely. His skins change the feel of his abilities noticeably. The ult transformation in particular looks way better with a skin versus base. Even one skin at 1350 RP is worth it for mains. If you only play him once a month though, maybe save your RP for your actual main.
