Battle Bunny Miss Fortune

First time I saw Battle Bunny Miss Fortune load into my game I genuinely thought it was a different champion for half a second. The silhouette reads completely different from base MF. Been running this skin since it dropped in spring 2022 and honestly it changed how I feel about playing Miss Fortune in ranked. Bold claim. But the Anima Squad aesthetic just fits her so naturally that going back to default feels wrong.

What the Legendary treatment actually delivers

So this is a full Legendary at 1820 RP, and it earns that price tag. New model, new VFX on every ability, new voice lines, new recall animation. The whole package. Miss Fortune gets this sleek combat suit with rabbit ear motifs that somehow doesnt look ridiculous. Riot walked a fine line between cute and tactical here and I think they nailed it.

Q bounces leave these pink energy trails that read cleanly in lane. Not gonna lie, the W activation feels snappier with the new strut particles, like there’s more visual feedback when you proc the attack speed steroid. Could be placebo but I swear my kiting improved just from the clarity. E is where it gets interesting – the rain of bullets becomes this concentrated energy barrage that actually helps you see the slow zone boundaries better than base. Useful for teamfights when everything gets chaotic around dragon pit.

The R though. Bullet Time. That’s the money ability for any Miss Fortune skin and Battle Bunny delivers hard. Massive pink energy beams that fan out across the lane. Played maybe 40 games with this skin the first two weeks it came out and every ult in a choke point felt cinematic. Trapped their Jinx and Thresh in river last season around 1 AM on a Tuesday – the kill screen with those beam particles was chef’s kiss.

Laura Bailey on voice acting. She brings a confident, almost cocky energy to the new lines that fits the Anima Squad commander fantasy. Miss Fortune sounds like she’s leading a squad, not just bounty hunting. The interactions with other Anima Squad members add depth if you’re running the comp in bot lane. Voice lines stay fresh even after months of play, which is rare for me. Usually I mute VO after a few weeks.

Recall animation has her posing with this holographic battle plan display. Short, clean, not overly long like some Legendary recalls that get you killed if you mistime them. Practical. (Random aside: I use the recall cancel on this skin just for the first frame of the animation because it looks cool as a taunt.)

Anima Squad, Pan Chengwei, and the 2022 drop

Released March 31, 2022. Late season 12. Pan Chengwei handled the artwork and they went hard on the splash. Miss Fortune front and center with the squad aesthetic, energy weapons drawn, rabbit ears catching light. The composition draws your eye straight to her face which is something a lot of splash arts fail at.

The Anima Squad skinline is one of Riot’s more interesting thematic gambles. Military anime meets cute animal motifs. Miss Fortune fits it better than most of the roster honestly. She’s already got the dual pistol fantasy, the confident personality, the ADC carry energy. Kinda feels like the skinline was built around her.

6 chromas total. Obsidian goes full dark ops, easily the cleanest alternative if you want something less pink. Nightwire hits this orange and blue contrast that pops hard on the Rift, especially in river fights. Rose Quartz is there if you want to lean harder into the pastel aesthetic. I keep rotating between Obsidian and base depending on my mood that night. Not every chroma justifies itself but three out of six being solid is a decent ratio for a Legendary.

Who should actually buy this

Verdict time. If you play Miss Fortune with any regularity in ranked, this is arguably the best Miss Fortune skin full stop. The VFX clarity alone gives you a slight edge in reading your own abilities during chaotic teamfights. Maybe just my experience but I genuinely cs better with this skin because the auto attack animations feel more responsive.

1820 RP well spent for mains. If you’re a casual MF player who picks her once every 20 games, maybe wait for a sale or the Your Shop rotation. But for anyone who locks in Miss Fortune as their go-to ADC, spams her in Diamond or wherever you’re climbing, this Legendary delivers above average value. The new VO keeps games fresh, the VFX read clean, the chromas give you options.

Fair warning – once you play with Battle Bunny for a while, base Miss Fortune feels flat. The particle downgrade going back is noticeable. Happened to my duo partner last week, he bought it after watching me play three games in a row. That’s the real trap with good Legendaries. They make everything else feel like a downgrade. Been daily driving this for over a year now and I dont see myself switching any time soon. Top pick for Miss Fortune mains, no question.
