K/DA ALL OUT Akali

First game I loaded this skin into ranked, my jungler typed “nice skin diff” before minions even spawned. Thats the energy K/DA ALL OUT Akali carries. The splash alone sets a tone that base Akali could never touch, and in-game the neon purple VFX just hit different when you’re weaving through a teamfight pre-6 looking for the all-in.

What the skin actually brings to the table

K/DA ALL OUT Akali sits at the Epic tier, so you’re getting new VFX and a fresh recall animation. Voice lines stay base. No new VO. For 1350 RP though, the particle work carries hard enough that I dont mind.

The Q throws out these sharp neon slashes with a purple-pink energy trail. Clean. Her W shroud gets a K/DA branded smoke effect that reads way better in lane than default. Could be wrong here but I think the shroud boundary is slightly easier to track for your own team too, which matters when you’re trying to peel for yourself in a dive situation.

E marks land with a distinct pop-star insignia before Akali dashes back in. Not sure if it’s just me but the E2 recast feels snappier visually, like the travel animation has more weight. R is where the skin goes hardest. Both ult dashes leave neon streaks across the Rift that linger for a half second. In a chaotic late-game teamfight around dragon pit last Thursday, my R2 execute left this trail that my duo said looked like a concert light show. Fair description honestly.

The recall animation has Akali doing a full K/DA dance routine. Flashy. Gets old after maybe 50 games but the first few weeks you’ll be spam-recalling in lane just to flex on the enemy midlaner. (Random aside: I still emote cancel into recall just to bait people into thinking I’m styling on them.)

Pan Chengwei, K/DA, and the 2020 drop

Pan Chengwei nailed the splash. Akali in the streetwear-meets-idol outfit with the dragon tattoo showing, neon backdrop. The composition puts her front and center with attitude. Portfolio piece for sure.

Released October 29, 2020. Right in the middle of season 10. The K/DA ALL OUT line dropped alongside the “MORE” music video, which was Riot’s second big push for the K/DA brand after the original 2018 set. Akali was already the poster child of the first K/DA wave so giving her another skin in the sequel lineup felt inevitable.

The K/DA skinline keeps expanding but this ALL OUT version specifically captures a different energy from the original K/DA Akali. More street, less stage. Been maining Akali with this skin on and off since release and I keep coming back to it over the original K/DA version because the VFX palette is just sharper.

8 chromas total. BADDEST is the standout, goes full dark with deep navy and black tones that make Akali look like she’s performing at an underground venue. Tanzanite pushes the purple harder than base which I think works better against the Rift’s green. Pearl goes clean white and honestly reads almost like a different skin entirely. The rest are solid but those three get my rotation. Shop has it, permanent availability, grab whenever.

Should you lock in K/DA ALL OUT Akali?

Real talk though. 1350 RP for what you get here is fair. The VFX overhaul on Q and R alone justifies the price if you’re spamming Akali in ranked. Compared to something like Project Akali which also sits at 1350, K/DA ALL OUT feels more cohesive. Project has the tech theme going but the particles can get busy in a way that hurts clarity. ALL OUT stays clean.

Not gonna lie, if you already own Prestige K/DA Akali or the original K/DA skin, this one might feel redundant. Similar color space, similar thematic. But if you’re picking between the three and only buying one? ALL OUT is the move. The recall and VFX are a generation ahead of the 2018 original.

Been running this in Diamond for maybe 200 games across season 11 and 12. The skin just works. Spammed it through a 15 game winstreak one weekend in season 11 and honestly started associating it with good cs numbers, which is probably superstition but whatever. Worth 1350 RP if you main Akali. S-tier Akali cosmetic that competes with skins twice its price. Skip it only if you’re saving for Coven or the Prestige variants, otherwise this is top pick for Akali mains who want style without dropping Legendary money.
