First time I saw Cosmic Enchantress Lulu load in, I thought someone modded the game. The whole celestial aesthetic on a yordle support just hits different from what you’d expect. Been running this as my main Lulu skin since late 2018 and honestly not gonna lie, it still holds up against everything Riot has dropped for her since.

What Cosmic Enchantress Lulu actually changes

The VFX on this skin carry hard. Lulu’s Q shoots out these swirling galaxy projectiles that read clean in lane, way easier to track than base Lulu’s green bolts. Your ADC will thank you because the poke is visually distinct from the wave, which sounds minor but matters when you’re threading Q through minions in a Diamond bot lane at 2 AM on a Tuesday.

W polymorph turns enemies into a little cosmic creature. Cute detail. The shield on E wraps your ally in this starfield bubble that I think looks better than most of her other skins. Pix gets a full cosmic redesign too, floating around as this little constellation spirit. Solid work across the board.

The recall animation is where Riot put extra love. Lulu conjures a miniature galaxy, plays with the stars, the whole thing feels magical without being over the top. Played maybe 40 games of this in one week when it first dropped and the recall never got old. Voice lines stay base though, no new VO. For an Epic tier skin at 1350 RP thats expected, but I still wish they’d given her some space-themed quips.

Color palette leans deep purple and blue with gold accents. The star particles on her abilities pop against Summoner’s Rift, especially during teamfights when everything is chaos. Could be wrong here but I feel like the auto attack particles are slightly more satisfying too. Smoother animation on the projectile, or maybe its just placebo from looking at pretty stars.

The Cosmic line and where Lulu fits

Cosmic Enchantress Lulu released August 21, 2018. Season 8 era. Alex ‘alexplank’ Flores nailed the splash, the composition with Lulu floating through a nebula with Pix reimagined as a cosmic familiar is genuinely one of the better support skin splashes out there. (Random aside: this splash was my desktop wallpaper for like three months straight.)

The Cosmic skinline is one of Riot’s more consistent themes. You’ve got Cosmic Reaver Kassadin, Cosmic Blade Yi, Cosmic Queen Ashe in there. Lulu fits the enchantress angle perfectly since her kit is already about transformation and whimsy, slapping a celestial coat of paint on it just works. The Cosmic line treats supports well in general.

5 chromas available for this one. Obsidian is my personal pick, the dark tones make the ability VFX contrast harder against the model. Rose Quartz gives a softer pink vibe that some Lulu mains prefer, and Turquoise reads almost like an aquatic variant. The base purple is strong enough that you dont necessarily need a chroma, but Obsidian specifically upgrades the look.

Permanent shop skin. Available any time, no vault rotation nonsense. 1350 RP standard Epic pricing.

How it plays in actual games

Been maining Lulu with this skin across maybe three seasons now. The VFX clarity is genuinely useful, not just cosmetic fluff. When you’re peeling for your ADC in a late-game teamfight and need to land a clutch W on the enemy Katarina diving your backline, the Cosmic particles make ability tracking easier. Had a game last week where I polymorphed their Zed mid-ult and the cosmic VFX made it super obvious to my team that I’d locked him down.

One thing worth mentioning for Lulu one-tricks specifically. The Q hitbox visual on Cosmic Enchantress lines up well with the actual hitbox. Some Lulu skins have that awkward disconnect where the particle looks wider or narrower than reality. Not a problem here. Clean readability on poke, clean readability on shield. The whole kit feels polished.

Should you pick up Cosmic Enchantress Lulu?

Real verdict: this is top two Lulu skins and I might put it at number one depending on the day. Dragon Trainer Lulu is the other contender obviously, being Legendary with new VO and all. But Cosmic Enchantress at 1350 RP delivers maybe 80% of the experience for way less. Worth 1350 if you main Lulu, full stop.

Skip it if you already own Space Groove Lulu and only play her occasionally. Too much overlap in the “colorful whimsical” category. But for dedicated Lulu players who want something that looks premium without paying Legendary price? Kinda feels like this is the answer. The Cosmic theme ages well, the VFX are crisp, and the chromas give you options. Best Lulu skin for the price, and I’ve tried all of them across 5 seasons of support in Diamond. Grab the Obsidian chroma while you’re at it.
