High Noon Skins

All 36 skins in the High Noon skinline. Browse splash art, chromas, and detailed reviews for every High Noon skin in League of Legends.

High Noon is one of those skinlines where Riot figured out the formula early and just kept cooking. Western gothic with demonic undertones, dusty desert VFX, and some of the hardest splash arts in the entire game. Been playing League since season 3 and I remember when High Noon was just Twisted Fate in a cowboy hat. Now its a 36-skin universe with angels, demons, and literal hellfire. Not gonna lie, the evolution from simple cowboy costumes to full supernatural western is probably the best thematic glow-up any skinline has gotten on the Rift.

What Makes High Noon Stand Out From Other Skinlines

The visual identity is tight. Every High Noon skin shares this orange-amber-gold particle palette mixed with dark reds and black smoke. You see a High Noon skin in loading screen and you know immediately what line it belongs to. Thats rare honestly. Compare it to something like Cosmic where the color range is all over the place and you start appreciating how consistent Riot kept the High Noon aesthetic across 36 skins.

The splash arts tell an actual story too. There's a whole angel versus demon thing running through the line. Lucian and Senna are on the divine side, Thresh is the big bad, and everyone else falls somewhere on that spectrum. Could be wrong here but I think High Noon has one of the most developed lore frameworks outside of Star Guardian. The splashes reference each other, characters interact, there's actual worldbuilding happening.

VFX across the line lean heavy into fire and brimstone. Lots of ember particles on autos, flame trails on dashes, and that signature dusty orange ground effect. The Legendaries obviously go harder with unique animations and voice lines, but even the 1350 RP Epics get solid particle work. Played against a High Noon Katarina last week in ranked and her daggers leave these burning ground marks that actually look clean in teamfights.

(Random aside: the High Noon universe would make an insane Netflix show. Cowboys fighting demons in a supernatural Rift? Someone at Riot pitch this already.)

Sound design deserves a shout too. The Legendary skins especially lean into the Western soundtrack thing. Reverb-heavy guitar twangs on ability casts, that hollow wind sound on recalls. High Noon Lucian's gun sounds hit different from every other Lucian skin. Real talk though, even the Epic tier skins get custom SFX that feel thematically locked in. The whistle-and-tumbledown audio on some of the recalls is peak.

Best High Noon Skins to Lock In

Five Legendaries in one skinline is crazy. Most lines get one, maybe two. High Noon has five and honestly three of them are S-tier.

High Noon Lucian is the gold standard. Released back when the skinline pivoted from simple cowboy skins to the full demonic western universe. New VO, new animations, the ult feels like you're unloading a divine revolver. Been spamming this in Diamond bot lane for multiple seasons and it still holds up against newer Legendaries. The auto attack animations alone are worth 1820 RP. Every shot has weight to it.

High Noon Senna comes in right behind. The rifle animations are incredible, the ult beam turns into this golden divine laser, and the VO sells the angelic gunslinger fantasy perfectly. Might be overthinking it but I think Senna's skin edges out Lucian slightly on VFX quality since it came later and Riot had refined the pipeline. Her Q heal has this warm golden glow that reads super clean in lane.

High Noon Ashe surprised me. Didn't think the ADC ice archer would translate to a Western theme but they pulled it off. The hawk ult becomes a flaming phoenix arrow, W spreads fire arrows across the Rift, and the recall animation with the horse is one of the best in the game. Took this into ranked for about 40 games last season and the R hitbox genuinely feels more readable with the fire VFX. Placebo maybe. Still felt good.

High Noon Leona is solid but not top tier for me. The shield bash animations look great and the divine knight aesthetic fits Leona's kit, but her base kit is already so visually loud that the skin improvements feel less dramatic. Good engage tool with the ult VFX though - the solar flare becomes this burning brand from the sky. Worth 1820 if you main Leona, skip if you dont.

High Noon Yone is the newest Legendary and it goes hard. Two forms, demon and human, with the mask mechanic tied into his E. The sword animations during Q3 knock-up look phenomenal. Kinda feels like Riot saved their best animation work for this one. Plus the Peacemaker Mythic variant exists if you want the premium version. Seen maybe 5 of those in my games total since it dropped.

The Champion Roster and Who Fits the Theme

36 skins across 33 champions (Evelynn, Talon, and Yone have Prestige or Mythic variants). Some of these champion picks are perfect. Some feel forced. That's every skinline though.

The original cowboy crew fits naturally. Twisted Fate as the card-slinging gambler. Miss Fortune as the gunslinging outlaw. Sheriff Caitlyn with the rifle. These champions were basically designed for a Western skinline. Jhin also slots in perfectly - the masked bounty hunter with four bullets? Come on. Thematic gold right there.

Then you got picks like Mordekaiser and Hecarim that lean into the supernatural demon side. Morde as a demonic iron revenant works. Hecarim as a spectral horse rider works. Yorick summoning undead cowboys? Actually kind of sick. These darker picks give the line depth beyond just "champions in cowboy hats."

Fair warning, some picks feel like Riot needed to fill a popularity quota. Katarina and Irelia in High Noon felt random to me at first. They grew on me after seeing the skins in game but thematically they're not as locked in as a Lucian or Thresh. (Sidebar for anyone who cares: Samira fits better than both of them. Desert rose gunslinger vibes are literally her default personality.)

Not sure if it's just me but I think Graves is the most obvious missing champion. A shotgun-wielding outlaw and he doesnt have a High Noon skin? Criminal. Same with Aphelios - the mysterious weapons collector would eat this theme alive. Maybe next batch.

Tier and Price Breakdown

The spread across tiers is interesting. 19 Epics at 1350 RP make up the bulk, which is standard for any large skinline these days. Five Legendaries at 1820 RP is generous though. Three Mythic variants (Prestige Evelynn, Prestige Talon, Peacemaker Yone) for the collectors.

Nine Standard tier skins sit at the bottom, ranging from 520 to 975 RP. These are the older ones mostly. Longhorn Alistar, Cowgirl Miss Fortune, Sheriff Caitlyn, Bandito Fiddlesticks, Desperada Cassiopeia. Back from when "High Noon" just meant slapping a hat on the champion and calling it a day. They're charming in a retro way but don't expect modern VFX quality from a 520 RP skin released in like season 2 or 3.

Price range goes from 520 RP all the way to 1820 RP. The value sweet spot is the Epic tier honestly. High Noon Jhin at 1350 gives you custom particles, new SFX, solid recall animation. You dont need to spend Legendary money to get a good High Noon experience. But if you main one of the five Legendary champions? The 1820 versions are worth every point. Played maybe 300 games on High Noon Lucian across seasons and the per-game cost is basically nothing at this point.

High Noon Skinline FAQ

How many High Noon skins are there?

36 skins total as of 2024. That includes the original cowboy batch from early seasons, the supernatural western reboot skins, three Prestige and Mythic variants, and five Legendaries. High Noon is one of the larger skinlines in League, up there with Star Guardian and PROJECT in terms of roster size. Riot keeps adding to it almost every year so the count will probably climb.

What is the best High Noon skin?

High Noon Lucian for me, no question. The full VO, custom animations on every ability, and the divine gunslinger fantasy just hits. High Noon Senna and High Noon Ashe are close seconds. If you're looking at Epic tier only, High Noon Jhin is probably the best 1350 RP option. Been running Lucian's skin since it dropped and still havent gotten bored of it.

Which champions have High Noon skins?

33 champions across 36 skins. The big names include Lucian, Senna, Thresh, Ashe, Yone, Jhin, Yasuo, and Leona. Older skins cover Twisted Fate, Miss Fortune, Caitlyn, and Alistar from before the supernatural reboot. Evelynn, Talon, and Yone each have extra Prestige or Mythic variants on top of their base High Noon skin.

Does High Noon have Legendary skins?

Five Legendaries at 1820 RP each. High Noon Lucian, Senna, Ashe, Leona, and Yone. All five get new voice lines, unique animations, and completely overhauled VFX. That's a huge number of Legendaries for one skinline. Most lines are lucky to get two. Could be wrong but I think only Star Guardian matches that count.

When did the High Noon skinline release?

The original High Noon Twisted Fate dropped way back in early League, around 2011-2012 era along with other cowboy skins like Cowgirl Miss Fortune and Sheriff Caitlyn. The major supernatural reboot happened around 2018 with the Lucian and Thresh releases. Riot has added new batches almost every year since then, with the most recent additions landing in 2024.

Are High Noon skins worth buying?

Depends on the tier honestly. The five Legendaries are absolutely worth it if you main those champions. Epic tier skins like Jhin, Samira, and Thresh give solid value at 1350 RP with good VFX and SFX. The older Standard skins under 975 RP are mostly texture swaps and feel dated. Skip those unless you're a collector going for the full set.

Do High Noon skins have chromas?

Most of the Epic and newer High Noon skins come with chroma sets. The older Standard tier skins from early seasons dont have chromas. The Prestige and Mythic variants (Prestige Evelynn, Prestige Talon, Peacemaker Yone) are essentially premium color variants themselves. If a specific High Noon skin has chromas, you'll typically get 6-8 options including Ruby and event-exclusive colors.

Will Riot make more High Noon skins?

Almost certainly. High Noon has been getting new batches nearly every year since the 2018 reboot and it sells well. The line still has obvious champion gaps like Graves, Aphelios, and Kindred that would fit the theme perfectly. Kinda feels like Riot treats High Noon as an annual event at this point. I'd bet on another batch dropping sometime in 2025.
