First time I saw Dragonwing Corki in a loading screen I thought someone was running a custom skin. The red and gold dragon theme on Corki’s copter looked way too clean for a 975 RP skin. Been running this one in ranked since around season 10 I think, maybe earlier dont remember exactly, and it still holds up better than skins twice its price.
What Dragonwing Corki actually changes
The whole copter gets replaced with a dragon-shaped craft. Red and gold everywhere, very distinctly Lunar Revel themed. Corki himself gets new robes that match the festival aesthetic, sitting on top of this dragon like some kind of aerial emperor. Not gonna lie, the silhouette reads completely different from base Corki in lane.
VFX got a real upgrade here. His Q pops with this fiery orange burst, and the Gatling Gun (E) sprays these warm-toned particles that feel heavier than base. The Package delivery is where it really shines though. Big red dragon energy across the Rift. Rocket Barrage (R) shoots these little fire rockets that actually feel satisfying to poke with.
The recall animation is a nice touch for 975 RP. Corki does this little celebration with fireworks going off. Short and sweet. Voice lines stay base, no new VO, but honestly Corki’s original voice pack is already iconic enough. “Lima Oscar Lima” hits the same regardless of skin.
Could be wrong here but I think the auto attack animation feels slightly snappier with this skin. Probably placebo. Played maybe 40 games last month with it and my cs numbers were the same as always. Still, the visual clarity on autos is genuinely better than base Corki where everything blends into the map.
The Lunar Revel connection and release context
Dragonwing Corki dropped February 8, 2013. Part of the Lunar Revel: Firecracker skinline, which is one of Riot’s longest running seasonal themes. Concept Art House handled the splash art, and they captured the vibe well. The splash has Corki soaring through fireworks with this massive dragon craft underneath him.
The Lunar Revel line keeps growing every year but the early entries like this one have a charm the newer ones sometimes miss. Kinda feels like the newer Firecracker skins try too hard with the particle effects while Dragonwing Corki just nails the theme without overdoing it. Simple change – huge impact.
Two chromas available for this one. Golden leans into the Lunar Revel theme even harder, full gold dragon that looks premium. Meteorite goes darker with browns and earth tones, gives it an ancient artifact kind of feel. Not a huge selection but both are solid picks. (Random aside: the Golden chroma on this skin has been my phone lock screen for like two months now.)
Is 975 RP fair for Dragonwing Corki?
So is it worth it? For Corki mains, absolutely. This is a Standard tier skin at 975 RP that punches above its weight. New VFX, new recall, completely new model. There’s Legendary skins that change less than this. Still in the shop too, no vault nonsense.
Real talk though, Corki’s skin pool is weird. You got the ultra-rare Red Baron and Ice Toboggan that nobody owns, Arcade Corki which is fine, and then this. Dragonwing sits in this sweet spot where its affordable and the quality holds up even in 2026. Last Tuesday I was duo with my ADC buddy and he asked what skin I was using because he’d never seen it. Thats how underrated this thing is.
If you play Corki in any capacity, lock this in. 975 RP well spent for mains. Skip Corgi Corki unless you want the meme value, Dragonwing is the real pick for anyone who takes their Corki games seriously. The Lunar Revel: Firecracker aesthetic ages like wine compared to some of the goofier options in his catalog.
