Bewitching Fiora

First game I played with Bewitching Fiora was a late-night ranked session, maybe 1 AM on a Wednesday. Locked her in without even checking the skin spotlight. The loading screen splash hit different. West Studio nailed the splash, the whole witchy aesthetic with Fiora holding that rapier like a wand just works. Not gonna lie, I wasnt expecting much from a Halloween skin on a duelist, but this one earned its spot in my rotation fast.

What Bewitching Fiora actually brings to the table

So for 1350 RP you get new VFX across the board and a fresh recall animation. Voice lines stay base, which is standard for this Epic tier. The Q lunge trails leave these purple-orange particle wisps that feel clean in lane. Honestly the Vitals proc is where it shines. Each Passive mark pops with this Halloween-themed burst, pumpkin orange mixing with deep violet. Looks crisp against the Rift floor, especially at night map settings.

W Riposte has this spectral shield effect. Hard to describe but think ghostly energy instead of the standard parry flash. Been running this in Diamond for three seasons now and the W animation feels slightly more readable to me than base, which matters when you’re trying to parry a Malphite ult in a teamfight. Could be wrong here but I think the particle size is just a hair larger.

E hits carry the same witchy particle trail. Nothing groundbreaking but consistent with the theme. The R Grand Challenge procs light up each Vital with individual Halloween-colored bursts, and the heal zone after popping all four has this cauldron-bubbling effect on the ground. Pretty sick in a dive scenario where your team follows up.

Recall animation has Fiora doing this elegant witch pose with a cauldron. Short and clean. No new VO refresh but Karen Strassman’s base Fiora voice still carries enough attitude that it doesnt feel like a miss.

The Bewitching line and where Fiora fits

Released October 7, 2021. Right before Worlds that year. The Bewitching skinline is one of Riot’s consistent Halloween drops and Fiora joined alongside a solid batch. The line has this gothic-cute balance that works better on some champs than others. On Fiora specifically, the witch hat and modified outfit keep her silhouette recognizable while adding enough flair to justify the price.

West Studio handled the artwork and the splash composition is strong. Fiora mid-lunge with bats scattering behind her. (Random aside: I had this as my Discord avatar for like four months straight.) The Bewitching theme gives Riot room to be playful without going full comedy, and Fiora’s serious personality creates a fun contrast with the spooky aesthetic.

8 chromas total. Obsidian is my pick, turns the whole palette dark and moody which fits the Halloween vibe way harder than base. Pearl goes the opposite direction, almost ethereal white witch energy. Rose Quartz is popular in my games, seen maybe five or six Fiora players running it in ranked this season. The rest are solid but those three stand out. Legacy vault skin so you cant just grab it whenever, gotta wait for the Harrowing event shop or get lucky with Hextech crafting.

Is Bewitching Fiora worth 1350 RP?

Real verdict: if you main Fiora and you like seasonal skins, this is a strong pickup. The VFX work is above average for an Epic. Vital procs feel satisfying, the color palette reads well in lane and in chaotic teamfights. I played maybe 150 games with this skin between season 12 and now. Kinda feels like it flies under the radar compared to PROJECT or Pulsefire but the execution is tighter than both for what it tries to do.

1350 RP feels fair for what you get. Not the flashiest Fiora skin but one of the most cohesive. If you’re a Fiora one-trick who already owns the Legendary options, Bewitching Fiora is a clean rotation piece for when you want something different. Skip it if you only play Fiora occasionally, but for mains its an easy recommend. Just remember its in the Legacy pool so grab it when its available.
