Been maining Nasus on and off since season 3, and Pharaoh Nasus was the first skin I ever bought for him. 520 RP back then felt like a big deal. Looking at it now with everything Riot has put out since, its a different era of League cosmetics entirely. But there’s something about this one that keeps pulling me back every few months.

The pharaoh look on Nasus

So this is a Standard tier skin. That means you’re getting a model swap and a new splash, and thats about it. No new VFX on Q stacks, no changed ult visuals, base voice lines. Voice stays default. For 520 RP nobody should expect otherwise.

What you do get is Nasus dressed in full Egyptian pharaoh regalia. Gold headdress, ornate armor plating, the whole deal. Kinda feels like Riot looked at Nasus and said “he’s already a jackal-headed god, let’s just lean all the way into it.” The staff gets a pharaoh-themed redesign too. Cleaner silhouette than the base skin honestly.

Not gonna lie, the model holds up better than most 2010 skins. Nasus got his visual update and Pharaoh came along for the ride, so the textures aren’t the muddy mess you see on some legacy stuff. The gold detailing reads well in lane, especially when you’re just farming those Q stacks for 20 minutes straight. Had a game last Thursday where I hit 700 stacks at 25 minutes and the Pharaoh model just looked regal walking through their base. Perfect energy.

No chromas available for this one.

Where Pharaoh Nasus fits in the lineup

Released November 2, 2010. Early League. The Pharaoh skinline also includes Pharaoh Nidalee and Pharaoh Amumu, and honestly Nasus fits the theme better than either of them. He’s literally Anubis. The skin just works on a conceptual level that most early skins never achieved.

The Pharaoh line hasn’t gotten new entries in years. Might be overthinking it but I think Riot considers it “done” – three skins, all ancient Egyptian, moving on. Which is fine because the ones that exist still hold up for what they are.

(Random aside: I used this splash as my Discord avatar for like two years in season 9 I think or 10 dont remember. The gold and blue color scheme just looks clean at small sizes.)

Shop has it. 520 RP, permanent availability, grab it whenever. At that price point you’re spending less than a single chroma costs for newer skins. For a Nasus player building out the collection this is an easy early pickup.

Should you lock in Pharaoh Nasus?

Real verdict: this is the best budget Nasus skin. Played maybe 200 games with it across multiple seasons and the model never gets old. The Egyptian theme fits Nasus so naturally that it almost feels like an alternate default rather than a cosmetic.

Skip it if you already own Infernal or Space Groove and only want one Nasus skin in rotation. Those have actual VFX changes that make Q bonking feel different. But at 520 RP? Hard to argue against picking this up alongside your main skin. I keep it in rotation specifically for when I want that clean, no-nonsense look in ranked. Something about the pharaoh aesthetic puts me in the right headspace to just farm and scale.

Nasus one-tricks should own this. Simple change – huge impact on how the champion reads. Been running this in Diamond games when I need a chill toplaner and honestly the skin just hits different at 400 stacks. The gold armor makes the ult pop even without new particles. Worth 520 RP if you main Nasus, and at that price there’s really no reason not to have it sitting in your collection.
