Secret Agent Miss Fortune

Been running this skin on and off since like season 3 or 4, dont remember exactly. Secret Agent Miss Fortune caught my eye because it ditches the pirate fantasy entirely and puts her in this sleek black catsuit with dual pistols that actually look like spy gadgets. First impression back then was honestly surprise. Riot made Miss Fortune look like she belongs in a Bond film.

What the skin actually changes

For a 975 RP Standard tier skin, Secret Agent Miss Fortune delivers more than you’d expect. The model swap is the main attraction here. Gone is the pirate hat and corset, replaced with a fitted tactical outfit, sunglasses, and a completely different silhouette. The guns get a sleek makeover too. Smaller, more modern looking. Not gonna lie, the auto-attack animations feel slightly different just because of how the model holds them.

There’s new VFX on this one which is unusual for a skin at this price point, especially one from 2010. The Q bounce reads a bit cleaner in lane. Her ult still shreds but the visual on Bullet Time has a subtle shift that I noticed after maybe 30 games with it. Could be wrong here but the E slow field also looks slightly tinted compared to base. Voice lines stay base, no changes there. No new recall animation either, she just does the standard back. Pre-6 laning with this skin feels fine, the auto attack wind-up is visually identical to base so you wont mess up your cs rhythm.

Kinda feels like Riot put extra effort into the model work and then said “good enough” on everything else. Fair. For what it is, the skin reads well in teamfights. Your ADC silhouette is distinct enough that the enemy backline can identify you, which matters when you’re trying to position for a clean ult in the bot lane specifically.

The Cops and Robbers line and release context

Secret Agent Miss Fortune dropped November 16, 2010. Ancient by current standards. Choe HeonHwa handled the artwork, and honestly the splash holds up better than most skins from that era. The pose is dynamic, the lighting sells the espionage theme.

She’s part of the Cops and Robbers skinline, which is one of Riot’s smaller thematic sets. You’ve got skins like Crime City Graves and Officer Caitlyn floating around in similar territory. The Cops and Robbers line never got the massive expansion that something like PROJECT or Star Guardian did, but the individual skins in it have personality. Secret Agent Miss Fortune sits comfortably as the femme fatale of the group. (Random aside: this splash was my desktop background for an embarrassingly long time around season 5.)

Legacy vault skin, so you cant just grab it from the shop whenever. Hextech only these days unless Riot opens the vault for an event. Last time I saw it available was during one of those legacy sales, maybe around late 2023 I think. 975 RP when it does show up.

Should you pick this up?

Real verdict: if you main Miss Fortune and you’re looking for something that breaks away from her default pirate aesthetic, Secret Agent is a solid grab. 975 RP feels fair for what you get. The model is clean, the theme is unique in her skin catalog, and the VFX tweaks are a nice bonus at this price.

That said, Miss Fortune has a massive skin pool now. Captain Fortune exists for lore fans. Gun Goddess is the Ultimate flex. Star Guardian is the popular pick in my Diamond games this season. Secret Agent Miss Fortune competes in a crowded field. But none of those other skins give you the spy fantasy. Spammed this in ranked last Tuesday around 2 AM and got three compliments in post-game chat, so clearly it still turns heads. Top pick for Miss Fortune mains who want something different from the usual rotation.
