Peacemaker High Noon Yone

First time I saw Peacemaker High Noon Yone load into a game, I thought someone was running a mod. The whole model looks like it belongs in a different game entirely. Not gonna lie, it took me a second to even register that was Yone on my screen. The level of detail on this one caught me off guard, and I been playing Yone on and off since his release.

What Peacemaker brings to the table

So this is the Mythic variant of High Noon Yone, and Riot went hard. The base High Noon skin already looked solid, but Peacemaker takes the western fantasy and cranks it up. New VFX across the board. Q feels different visually, theres this golden dust trail that follows the thrust and it reads clean in teamfights. W shield has this amber glow that actually helps you track when you’re absorbing damage, which matters when you’re diving the backline.

E is where it gets interesting. The spirit form has this pale ghostly rider look, almost translucent gold. Playing this skin, the contrast between your body and spirit trail is way more visible than base High Noon. Helps your team track your engage path too, which I noticed in my Diamond games last season. Your ult is the showstopper though. R pulls enemies up with these golden chains and the slam down has a dust explosion that covers half the screen. Flashy but not to the point where it hurts clarity.

New voice lines with Noshir Dalal doing the VO. The delivery fits the lawman vibe perfectly. Yone sounds less tortured wanderer and more cold authority. Recall animation is new too, this whole sequence where he holsters both blades like a gunslinger. Could be wrong here but I think the recall is one of the best in the High Noon line period.

Real talk though, the auto attack animations feel slightly different. Not mechanically, just visually. The wind slash on Q3 has more weight to it. Played maybe 40 games with this skin in ranked around patch 14.6 and the Q3 knockup visual just reads better. Opponents seem to react to it faster too which is a double edged sword honestly.

The High Noon line and where Peacemaker fits

High Noon is one of Riot’s flagship skinlines at this point. Must have 30+ skins in there. Yone already had the standard High Noon, so Peacemaker is the elevated Mythic version. Released March 20, 2024, right in the middle of season 14.

Su Fu and Kudos Productions handled the splash art. They captured this stoic lawman energy that the base High Noon splash only hinted at. (Random aside: the splash has been my desktop background since it dropped and I dont plan on changing it.) The color palette leans heavier into white and gold compared to the darker tones of regular High Noon Yone. Feels like the “redeemed” version of the same character.

No chromas on this one. Mythic skins typically dont get them, and honestly the base colorway is strong enough that I’m not sure what chromas would add. The white and gold is the identity here.

Availability is interesting. This is a Mythic tier skin with Special pricing, so you’re not just dropping RP in the shop like a normal purchase. You need Mythic Essence or it shows up in specific event rotations. Kinda feels like Riot knows the skin is premium and gates it accordingly. I managed to grab mine during the High Noon event, had been saving Mythic Essence for two months specifically for this.

Worth the Mythic grind?

Straight talk: if you play Yone regularly, this is the skin. S-tier Yone cosmetic. The new VFX, voice lines, and recall put it above everything else in his catalog except maybe Spirit Blossom if you prefer that aesthetic. But for the High Noon fantasy specifically, Peacemaker is the definitive version.

The issue is accessibility. Mythic Essence isnt free and you cant just buy this whenever you want. If you’re a Yone one-trick climbing through Diamond or wherever, I’d say start saving now if you havent already. Been running this as my main Yone skin since March 2024 and I keep coming back to it over Heartsteel and Dawnbringer.

Not sure if it’s just me but the skin feels smoother in lane. Probably placebo, probably just the cleaner VFX making ability timing easier to read. Either way, my cs numbers didnt change but my confidence in trades went up. That matters when you’re looking for lane prio pre-6 and need to hit your Qs clean.

Skip this only if you genuinely dont play Yone. For mains, for people who lock in Yone every other game in solo queue, this is the one. Worth every piece of Mythic Essence. The voice lines carry weight, the VFX are top tier, and the splash by Su Fu and Kudos Productions is gallery worthy. Best executed Mythic skin from that whole 2024 cycle if you ask me.
