Twitch Skins

14 skins available

Twitch is one of those champions where the skin catalog tells you exactly how long Riot's been trying to figure out what to do with a plague rat. 14 skins spanning from 2009 to 2025, and honestly the quality curve here is steep. The early stuff looks like it belongs in a different game entirely. Not gonna lie, I've been a Twitch player on and off since season 4, mostly as a pocket pick when my team needs an ADC that can delete a whole backline from stealth. His skins range from "why does this exist" to genuinely clean, and there's no Legendary in the bunch. Which says something about how Riot views this rat.

Twitch's Skin Collection Over the Years

14 skins across 16 years. That's not a bad count for a champion who's never really been the poster child for League. Twitch got his first skin, Kingpin Twitch, back in 2009 when the game launched. The oldest skins in his catalog are rough. Like, genuinely rough. Kingpin and Whistler Village Twitch look like they were modeled in an afternoon, and thats being generous. The Standard tier skins make up more than half his collection with 8 total, and the remaining 6 are all Epic at 1350 RP.

No Legendary. No Ultimate. No Mythic or Prestige. Just Standards and Epics. Kinda feels like Riot keeps Twitch in the "solid mid-tier" bracket when it comes to cosmetic investment. Compare that to someone like Lux or Ezreal and you see where the priorities are.

The timeline is interesting though. His early skins dropped between 2009 and 2012, then there's a gap, then Riot started giving him better stuff. SSW Twitch came in 2014 as the World Champions skin. Omega Squad dropped later and that's when his catalog actually started looking modern. The most recent addition is Pool Party Twitch in 2025, so Riot hasnt forgotten about him completely.

Real talk though, the jump in quality between his Standard and Epic skins is massive. Playing Vandal Twitch and then switching to Omega Squad feels like upgrading from a flip phone to an iPhone. Same champion, completely different experience on the Rift.

Best Skins for Twitch

Okay so this is where it gets opinionated. Been playing Twitch in Diamond for a few seasons now and I've rotated through most of his skins at this point. Here's what actually holds up.

Omega Squad Twitch is the best Twitch skin. Full stop. 1350 RP and it transforms him from a sewer rat into a full military operative. The Q stealth animation feels different, the W cask has this toxic green military canister look, and the E bolts look like they actually hurt. (Random aside: the recall animation where he's eating rations is genuinely funny and I still chuckle at it after hundreds of games.) The auto attacks in ult feel cleaner too, might be placebo but I swear my teamfight DPS goes up with this skin locked in. Could be wrong here but the particles on his R feel slightly more visible which helps with target tracking.

Been running Ice King Twitch as my secondary pick since it dropped. The frozen theme works surprisingly well on a poison-based champion. His W turns into this icy pool, the E expunge particles go blue-white. Looks clean in lane. The splash is solid, gives him this menacing ice sorcerer vibe that you dont expect from a rat. 1350 RP, fair price for what you get.

Twitch Shadowfoot hits different if you're into the sneaky assassin fantasy. Which, playing Twitch, you probably are. The skin leans into the rogue archetype hard. Q feels thematic because you're literally a shadow thief going invisible. Used this exclusively for about three weeks in ranked last split and got compliments on it twice. Not bad for a skin most people forget exists.

Dragonslayer Twitch is the one I see most often in my games. The dragon-themed crossbow is sick, the particles have this fiery orange tint. Solid Epic. Not the most creative concept for Twitch but the execution is clean. Spammed this in solo queue around season 11 I think.

High Noon Twitch rounds out the top picks. Western outlaw rat with a six-shooter crossbow. The thematic works. His E feels satisfying with the gunshot sound effects, and the R spray-down in a teamfight has this wild west shootout energy. Good skin. Not the best, but good.

Skinlines and Where Twitch Fits

Twitch shows up in a bunch of skinlines but honestly he's never the star of any of them. Omega Squad is the one where he fits most naturally. Military stealth operative? That IS Twitch's gameplay identity. The Bilgewater and Crime City lines make sense too since he's basically a criminal rat anyway. Vandal is whatever. Cops and Robbers put him on the robber side obviously.

Medieval Twitch is the weird one. It was a referral reward skin back in the day, and finding one in your games is rare. Seen maybe two in my entire time playing League. Not because its good, just because hardly anyone has it. The Winter Sports line gave us Whistler Village which is pure season 1 nostalgia and nothing more.

SSW Twitch from the 2014 World Champions line is cool if you care about esports history. Samsung White was a legendary team (sidebar for old-school League fans: that Worlds run was dominant in a way we havent really seen since). The skin itself is clean but minimal. White and blue jersey on a rat. Works for what it is.

Not sure if it's just me but I feel like Twitch could fit into way more skinlines than Riot has tried. Dark Star Twitch? Plague-themed cosmic rat? PROJECT Twitch with cybernetic stealth? The potential is there. Maybe thats why I keep coming back to Omega Squad. It's the one skin that fully commits to a fantasy that matches his kit.

Budget vs Premium Picks

Here's the thing with Twitch. His ceiling is 1350 RP. No Legendary means your max investment is an Epic skin, and honestly that works fine for this champion. The 6 Epics are all solid. If you can only buy one, Omega Squad. Period.

On the budget side, Crime City Twitch at 520 RP punches above its weight. Simple gangster aesthetic, clean model update from the original, and it's cheap. Pickpocket Twitch is another budget option that looks decent for the price. Not gonna lie, sometimes I lock in Pickpocket just for the comedy factor in ranked. Something about a rat in a burglar mask stealing kills in the bot lane hits different at 2 AM on a Tuesday.

If you're climbing and want the best visual clarity for your money, any of the 1350 Epics will do. But the Standards from 2009-2012 are genuinely hard to recommend unless you're a collector. Kingpin and Whistler Village look dated. Like, really dated. Save the RP.

Skip the Standard skins unless you're going for completionist status. The gap between a 520 and 1350 Twitch skin is bigger than most champions because his base model is already kind of rough. The Epics actually modernize him. Worth the extra RP.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many skins does Twitch have?

Twitch has 14 skins total as of 2025. Eight Standard tier and six Epic tier. No Legendary or Ultimate in the collection. Been waiting for a Legendary Twitch skin for years honestly, feels like Riot keeps passing him over. The catalog spans from 2009 all the way to Pool Party Twitch in 2025.

What is the best Twitch skin?

Omega Squad Twitch. Not even close. 1350 RP for a full military makeover with new particles on every ability, clean auto attacks, and a great recall animation. Been my go-to Twitch skin for multiple seasons now. Ice King Twitch is a solid second pick if you want something with a different vibe.

What is the cheapest Twitch skin?

Crime City Twitch and Kingpin Twitch sit at 520 RP, which is the cheapest you'll find. Crime City is the better buy between the two. Kingpin looks genuinely ancient at this point. If you want the absolute minimum spend on a Twitch skin that doesn't look terrible, Crime City is your pick.

Does Twitch have a Legendary skin?

Nope. Zero Legendaries. Twitch's entire catalog caps out at Epic tier (1350 RP). Kinda wild considering he's been in the game since 2009. Champions with half his playtime have gotten Legendaries already. Maybe someday. His kit would work great with new VO and extended animations on the ult.

What skinlines is Twitch in?

Twitch shows up in Omega Squad, Crime City, Vandal, Bilgewater, Winter Sports, Medieval, Cops and Robbers, and World Champions 2014. Omega Squad fits him best by far. Crime City is a natural second. The rest are fine but none of them really define his identity the way Omega Squad does.

Does Twitch have chromas?

Some of his newer Epic skins come with chromas. Dragonslayer and a few others have chroma sets available. The chroma quality varies, some recolors look great and others barely change anything noticeable in game. Personally I stick to base colors on Omega Squad because the military green is already perfect.

When was Twitch's last skin released?

Pool Party Twitch dropped in 2025. Its the newest addition to his catalog. Before that there was a bit of a gap. Riot tends to give Twitch a skin every couple years rather than the constant stream that popular champions get. Better than nothing though, and Pool Party is a fun theme for him.

Is Twitch worth buying skins for?

If you main him, absolutely. Twitch's base model is old and it shows. The Epic skins genuinely improve how he feels to play. Omega Squad alone is worth the 1350 RP if you're spamming Twitch in ranked. Casual players can probably skip it, but for mains and one-tricks the upgrade is noticeable. Played hundreds of games and the skin quality matters on this champ.
