Elise Skins

9 skins available

Elise is one of those champions where the skin catalog tells a story about Riot slowly figuring out what works. Nine skins total, stretching from 2012 all the way to 2025. Not a massive collection compared to someone like Lux or Ezreal, but honestly? The quality curve here is steep. Her early skins feel like they belong to a different game. The later ones, especially from 2020 onward, actually do her spider form justice. Been playing Elise on and off since season 3 and the difference between locking in Death Blossom back then versus Coven now is night and day.

Every Elise Skin from 2012 to 2025

Nine skins across thirteen years. Five Standards and four Epics. No Legendary, no Ultimate, no Mythic. Kinda feels like Riot never fully committed to giving Elise the premium treatment she deserves. A champion with two distinct models (human and spider form) should be a goldmine for skin designers, but here we are with zero skins above 1350 RP.

The earliest skin, Death Blossom Elise, dropped in 2012 alongside her champion release. Standard tier at 975 RP. Then came Victorious Elise for the season 3 ranked reward, which you either have or you dont at this point. Blood Moon showed up later, SKT T1 for the Worlds celebration. All solid but none of them really pushed boundaries.

The real shift happened around 2017 with Super Galaxy Elise. First Epic tier skin for her, first time Riot went hard on new VFX for both forms. From that point forward every Elise skin has been Epic. Bewitching, Withered Rose, Coven, and the newest one Masque of the Black Rose in 2025. Four Epics in a row tells you Riot found the sweet spot for her price point.

Not gonna lie, the gap between her Standard and Epic skins is massive. Playing Blood Moon Elise after experiencing Coven feels like going from 720p to 4K. The particle work, the model changes in spider form, the recall animations. Everything stepped up once they started charging 1350 RP. Could be wrong here but I think Elise mains got the short end early on and only recently started eating well.

(Random thought: nine skins in thirteen years averages out to roughly one skin every 18 months. Compare that to Lux getting a new skin every time someone at Riot sneezes. Jungle champions just dont get the same love.)

Best Elise Skins Ranked

Straight up, Coven Elise is the best skin she has. Full stop. The gothic witch aesthetic fits her fantasy perfectly. Human form looks regal and threatening at the same time. Spider form goes full dark fantasy with those purple and black tones. Her Q in human form, Neurotoxin, has this sickly violet projectile that reads cleaner than base. The cocoon on E got a visual overhaul that actually helps with clarity in teamfights. Spammed this in Diamond last split and the spider form W, Volatile Spiderling, has particles that pop against the Rift terrain without being distracting.

Super Galaxy Elise sits at number two for me. The mecha-spider concept is wild. Her spider form transforms into this robotic arachnid that looks straight out of an anime. Rappel (E in spider form) gets the full Super Galaxy treatment with the glowing energy trail. Been running this one since it dropped and the recall animation where she poses with the mech suit never gets old. Honestly the splash alone carries it.

Bewitching Elise takes the third spot. Halloween thematic, orange and purple palette, her spiderlings wear little witch hats. Sounds gimmicky but it works. The human form model is clean, the spider form is festive without being obnoxious. Her W human form, Volatile Spiderling, sends out a pumpkin-themed spider. Small touch. Big impact.

Withered Rose Elise is interesting. The romantic dark aesthetic gives her this vampiric queen energy. Not sure if it's just me but the color palette on this one feels slightly muted compared to Coven. Still a strong skin, the spider form roses are a nice detail, but it sits just below the top three in my rotation. Played maybe 40 games with it in season 13 before going back to Coven.

Death Blossom rounds out the top five. Yeah its a Standard skin from 2012. Yeah the model is dated. But there's a charm to it. The plant-spider hybrid concept was ahead of its time. If Riot ever gave this a visual update it would compete with the Epics easily. For now though it's a nostalgia pick. Locked it in during a late night ranked session last month and my jungler duo asked if my client was bugged.

Skinlines and How They Fit Elise

Elise appears in eight skinlines total: Death Blossom, Victorious, Blood Moon, World Champions 2015, Super Galaxy, Bewitching, Withered Rose, and Coven. That's a wide spread of themes for a champion with only nine skins.

Coven is the obvious best fit. The entire Coven universe revolves around dark witches and ancient power. Elise is literally a spider queen who lures people into her lair. The thematic overlap is so natural it writes itself. Might be overthinking it but Coven Elise feels like the definitive version of the champion, more than any other skinline.

Blood Moon works well too. The Japanese demon aesthetic translates nicely to her spider form. Ritualistic, ominous, predatory. All words that describe both Blood Moon and Elise's base kit. The mask motif in human form adds mystique.

Super Galaxy is the wildcard. Mecha spiders shouldn't work for Elise. Her whole identity is organic, primal, creepy. But somehow the anime robot spider concept just hits different. It's the skin you pick when you want to have fun rather than look menacing. Season 9 I think, maybe 10, I went on a 12-game win streak with this skin. Probably coincidence but I'm not changing what works.

Bewitching and Withered Rose both lean into the feminine dark magic angle. They're good but they occupy similar space thematically. If you own one you might not need the other unless you're collecting everything. Masque of the Black Rose, the 2025 addition, pushes further into that gothic ballroom vibe. Haven't logged enough games on it yet to have a strong take but early impressions are positive.

(Sidebar for jungle mains: thematic fit actually matters when you're staring at your champion model for 30 minutes every game. Pick a skin that doesnt get old.)

Budget Picks vs the Premium Stuff

Here's the thing with Elise. Her entire catalog lives between 975 and 1350 RP. There's no Legendary to agonize over, no Ultimate to save up for. The decision is really just Standard versus Epic.

If you're on a budget, Death Blossom at 975 RP is fine. It's dated but it changes enough to feel distinct from base. The plant-themed spider form is unique in her catalog. No other Elise skin does that nature horror concept. For the price it's acceptable.

But real talk though. The jump from 975 to 1350 is only 375 RP and the quality gap is enormous. Any of the four Epics (Super Galaxy, Bewitching, Withered Rose, Coven) absolutely dumpsters the Standard skins in terms of VFX, model quality, and recall animations. If you can stretch to 1350, do it. Coven is the safest pick. Super Galaxy if you want something different. Bewitching if you play during Halloween and want seasonal vibes.

Victorious Elise is technically free if you earned it back in season 3. If you have it, cool. Flex it. If you dont, you cant get it. Simple as that. SKT T1 is a Worlds skin, team jersey aesthetic, worth it only if you care about the esports history. Not a great skin purely on visual merit.

Best value in the entire catalog? Coven at 1350 RP. Not even close. It's an Epic that could pass for a low-budget Legendary with how much it changes both forms.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many skins does Elise have?

Nine skins total as of 2025. Five Standard tier and four Epic tier. The catalog stretches from Death Blossom in 2012 to Masque of the Black Rose in 2025. Not the biggest collection for a champion that's been around this long, but the recent Epics make up for the slow early years. No Legendary or higher though.

What is the best Elise skin?

Coven Elise. Not even a debate in my opinion. The dark witch aesthetic fits her kit perfectly, both forms got serious visual upgrades, and the VFX on every ability feel premium. Been my go-to Elise skin since it dropped. Super Galaxy is a strong second if you want something less serious.

What is the cheapest Elise skin?

Death Blossom Elise at 975 RP is the cheapest you can buy in the shop. Victorious Elise was free for season 3 Gold+ players but thats unobtainable now. For 975 RP Death Blossom is decent, the plant-spider concept holds up even if the model shows its age.

Does Elise have a Legendary skin?

No. Zero Legendaries. Her highest tier skins are all Epic at 1350 RP. Feels like a missed opportunity honestly. A champion with dual forms should be prime Legendary material with new VO for both human and spider. Maybe someday. Coven would be the natural pick for an upgrade.

What skinlines is Elise in?

Eight skinlines: Death Blossom, Victorious, Blood Moon, World Champions 2015, Super Galaxy, Bewitching, Withered Rose, and Coven. Wide variety for nine skins. Coven and Blood Moon fit her best thematically. Super Galaxy is the fun outlier. Masque of the Black Rose is the latest addition from 2025.

Does Elise have chromas?

Some of her Epic skins have chromas available. Bewitching and Withered Rose both got chroma sets. If you want variety within a single skin, those two give you the most options. Check the individual skin pages for exact chroma counts and color breakdowns. I think Coven got chromas too but dont quote me on the exact number.

When was Elise's last skin released?

Masque of the Black Rose Elise in 2025. Before that Coven dropped and there was a decent gap between releases. Elise isn't on Riot's priority list for frequent skins but she's been getting more consistent releases in the last few years compared to the drought between 2015 and 2017.

Is Elise worth buying skins for?

If you main her, absolutely. Coven alone justifies the investment. She's a niche jungle pick but people who play Elise tend to one-trick her or at least keep her in a tight rotation. One good Epic skin is all you really need. Grab Coven, maybe Bewitching for variety, and you're set for climbing.
