First time I saw True Damage Senna load into a game was maybe two weeks after her entire champion release. November 2019. She dropped with this skin basically day one and honestly it felt like Riot was making a statement. The whole True Damage line launched alongside that Worlds performance with the hologram stage and everything, and Senna got thrown right into the mix before most people even figured out how to play her. Been running this skin since season 10 in Diamond and I keep coming back to it over skins that cost way more.

What True Damage Senna actually brings

This is a 1350 RP Epic skin so you’re getting new VFX and a new recall animation. No new voice lines, voice stays default. For what it changes though, the visual package hits hard.

The Q heal has this clean teal-and-gold particle effect that reads way better in teamfights than base Senna. Not gonna lie, I think the auto attack particles are where it really shines. The mist wraith collection feels smoother visually, theres this subtle glow when you proc souls that the base skin just doesnt have. Her W roots with a stylized urban aesthetic, very on brand for the True Damage music theme.

The recall is Senna pulling out what looks like a bass guitar or some kind of instrument, fits the whole music crew vibe. Short and clean. (Random aside: my duo partner thought she was holding a rifle the first three times he saw the recall animation and I never corrected him.) The R still fires that massive global beam but the color palette shifts to match the True Damage teal and black. In bot lane specifically the ult particles contrast well against the river.

Could be wrong here but I think this skin makes her model look taller? Might be the outfit proportions. She’s wearing this long coat with gold trim, streetwear meets high fashion. The gun design changes too, more angular and modern compared to base Senna’s relic cannon look.

The True Damage lineup and release context

True Damage Senna released November 10, 2019. Right during Worlds season, patch was somewhere around 9.22 I think. Jennifer Wuestling nailed the splash, the composition puts Senna front and center with this confident stance that matches the music group energy.

The True Damage skinline is one of Riot’s music universe lines alongside K/DA and Pentakill. Senna sits in the group with Yasuo, Ekko, Qiyana, and Akali. Kinda feels like Senna got the most understated design of the set. Not flashy like True Damage Ekko with the time-warp stuff, just clean streetwear with good color work.

7 chromas total for this skin. Amethyst is the one I keep locked in, the purple swap on the coat looks premium for zero extra effort. Ruby runs a deep red that pops against the Rift, solid pick for anyone who wants something aggressive looking. Freestyle is the special edition one with a pink and dark navy combo. The rest fill out standard gem options but those three carry it.

Shop has it permanently. 1350 RP, standard Epic pricing. Been there since launch, no vault rotation or anything.

Where True Damage Senna lands for mains

Real verdict: this is one of the best value Senna skins in the shop. She has Legendary options now like High Noon Senna and the Prestige True Damage variant, but for 1350 RP the base True Damage skin competes with skins double its price. Spammed this in Diamond for three seasons straight before I even considered switching.

The VFX clarity is genuinely good. Last Tuesday around 2 AM I was playing a late ranked session and the Q particles saved a call in a dragon pit fight because I could actually see the heal zone. Small thing but it adds up over hundreds of games. Senna mains who play her as ADC or support both benefit from the cleaner visuals.

Fair warning, if you already own High Noon or Project Senna you might not reach for this one as often. But for anyone building a Senna collection or picking up their first skin for her, True Damage is the starting point. 1350 RP feels fair for what you get. The True Damage theme ages well because its not tied to a fantasy or sci-fi aesthetic that might feel dated, just modern streetwear that stays relevant.

Skip the Prestige version unless you’re a completionist. This base True Damage Senna does 90% of the work at a fraction of the cost. Top pick for Senna mains who want style without the Legendary price tag. Been my go-to Senna skin this season and I dont see that changing anytime soon.
