Red Riding Annie puts the Dark Child in a Little Red Riding Hood outfit because of course it does. Annie is a small girl with a giant dangerous bear companion. The fairy tale parallel writes itself. April 27, 2010 release at 520 RP. One of the earliest concept skins Riot made where they actually thought about thematic fit rather than just doing a palette swap. And it works. Fifteen years later the concept still makes sense even if the execution is dated.

Fairy tale Annie in practice

The model gives Annie a red hooded cape and a basket, full Little Red Riding Hood outfit. Tibbers keeps his bear form but the visual contrast of this tiny fairy tale girl summoning a massive fire bear is exactly the kind of dark humor that League does well. No new VFX on abilities though. Q fires base particles. W fans base flames. R drops Tibbers with standard effects. Pure model change for 520 RP.

No chromas. Legacy vault availability so you cant just grab it from the shop. Part of the Storybook skinline. Voice stays default. No splash artist credited in the data for this one which tracks for 2010-era skins where the art team was small and credits weren’t standardized yet.

Fairy tale nostalgia or skip

Maybe just my experience but I think Red Riding Annie is one of those skins that looks better in concept than in game at this point. The fairy tale idea is charming. The model is fifteen years old. If it drops from Hextech crafting and you play Annie, sure, keep it for the novelty. The loading screen reaction alone is worth having it in your collection. But for ranked? Fright Night Annie at 1350 RP is in a completely different league visually. Red Riding Hood is a museum piece. A cute one though.
