K/DA ALL OUT Ahri

First game I played with K/DA ALL OUT Ahri was sometime around 3 AM on release night. Locked in, loaded up, and the splash screen alone had me sold. Horace ‘Hozure’ Hsu nailed the splash on this one. The outfit redesign compared to the original K/DA skin is night and day. More polished, more confident, more pop-idol energy. Banger piece of art honestly.

How K/DA ALL OUT changes Ahri’s kit

The VFX overhaul is where this skin earns its 1350 RP. Her Q orb gets this clean neon trail that reads so well in teamfights. Not gonna lie, the return on the orb is easier to track than base Ahri for me. Could be placebo but I swear my cs improved slightly just from the visual clarity.

W foxfires pop with these sharp pink-purple particles. They orbit tighter and feel snappier when they proc on a target. Her E charm has this glittering effect that makes landing it in lane feel extra satisfying. Been running this skin in Diamond for a while now and the charm VFX specifically stands out against darker Rift backgrounds.

R dashes leave behind these bright streaks. Clean. Each dash feels punchy with the new particles, especially when you’re diving the backline or repositioning for peel. The recall animation is the highlight though. Ahri does this full idol performance, microphone and everything. Worth sitting through every time.

Voice lines stay base, no new VO. Standard for an Epic tier skin. Doesnt bother me much since Laura Post’s original delivery still holds up after all these years.

The K/DA line and release context

K/DA ALL OUT Ahri dropped October 29, 2020. Right in the middle of Worlds season that year. The K/DA skinline at that point was already massive, but the ALL OUT set pushed it further with the comeback single and everything. Riot went hard on the marketing. Kinda feels like this was peak K/DA hype looking back.

The K/DA line treats Ahri as the group leader, and this skin reflects that. More mature design, cleaner silhouette, the white-and-purple color scheme reads “main vocalist” without being over the top. My Ahri one-trick friend had this pre-purchased with the bundle and she still uses it over Spirit Blossom half the time.

9 chromas total for this skin. Thats a lot of options. BADDEST is my personal pick, the all-black palette just hits different on the Rift. Tanzanite goes deep purple and reads almost like a Dark Star vibe. Ahri-versary is the special one with blue and red split that you had to grab during the event. (Random aside: I keep the BADDEST chroma on permanently because it matches my ranked loading screen border better than base.)

Is K/DA ALL OUT Ahri worth 1350 RP?

Real verdict: this is one of Ahri’s best Epic skins. Maybe the best depending on your taste. Spirit Blossom Ahri competes hard for that top spot but K/DA ALL OUT brings a completely different aesthetic. Modern pop-idol versus ethereal fox spirit. Different vibes for different games.

1350 RP feels fair for what you get. New VFX across all abilities, that idol recall, and 9 chromas if you want variety. For an Epic this skin punches above its weight. Played maybe 200 games with this across season 11 and 12 and the novelty never fully wore off. The particles stay visually clean even in chaotic late-game fights where you’re spamming Q through four people.

Fair warning, if you already own original K/DA Ahri and Prestige K/DA, adding a third K/DA skin might feel redundant. But if you main Ahri and had to pick one K/DA variant, ALL OUT is the most complete package. The VFX are sharper, the model is updated, and Hozure’s splash is arguably the best across all three versions. Worth it for Ahri mains, easy skip if you dont play her. Top pick for Ahri mains who want the idol fantasy without going Legendary price.
