Nasus Skins

13 skins available

Nasus has 13 skins and honestly the range is wild. You go from some of the oldest textures in League history to one of the cleanest Legendary skins Riot ever shipped. Been a Nasus player on and off since season 3, mostly as a counterpick into melee tops when I need a free lane in Diamond. His skin catalog tells the whole story of how Riot's art team evolved over 15 years. Some of these are genuinely great. Some are 520 RP relics that belong in a museum. Not gonna lie, ranking them is harder than it sounds because Nasus mains tend to lock in one skin and never switch.

Nasus Skin Collection: 13 Skins from 2010 to 2025

The collection stretches from Galactic Nasus back in 2010 all the way to Fatemaker Nasus in 2025. Fifteen years of skins for one champion. That's a long runway. Six Standard tier skins, six Epics, and one Legendary. The ratio actually tells you something about how Riot views Nasus in the skin economy: he's not a flashy pick, so they didn't rush to give him premium content early on.

The early skins are rough. Galactic, Pharaoh, Dreadknight. These are products of their era and they look it. Pharaoh Nasus has some charm if you're into the Egyptian aesthetic doubling down on his base thematic, but the model is dated. Could be wrong here but I think most people who own those skins got them from mystery gifts or rerolls. Nobody is going into the shop in 2026 and clicking "buy" on Dreadknight Nasus with full intention.

Things changed around 2013 when Infernal Nasus dropped. That was the turning point. Suddenly Nasus had a skin that actually felt different to play. Then Riot started giving him Epic skins more regularly: Worldbreaker in 2016, Lunar Guardian in 2018, Battlecast in 2019, Space Groove in 2021. The cadence picked up. Each one brought something new to the table visually.

Armored Titan and Nightbringer came later, both solid entries. Fatemaker rounds it out in 2025. Thirteen skins total puts Nasus in a comfortable middle ground. Not overloaded like Lux or Ezreal, not neglected like Ornn used to be. He gets a skin roughly every year or two now which feels about right for his playrate.

Best Nasus Skins: The Ones Worth Your RP

Infernal Nasus. Full stop. If you play Nasus at all, this is the skin. It's his only Legendary at 1820 RP and it earns every point. New model, new animations, new voice lines, new VFX on every ability. The Q bonk hits with this fire explosion that just feels heavier than base. His ult transformation turns him into this massive flaming beast and the size increase combined with the fire particles makes you feel like an actual raid boss walking down top lane. Spammed this in Diamond for two seasons straight and never got tired of it.

The voice lines carry weight too. Deep, menacing, fits the infernal fantasy perfectly. His recall animation where he slams the ground and fire erupts around him? Clean. (Random aside: I've had teammates in loading screen say "oh we win, he has Infernal Nasus" like the skin gives you extra stacks or something.) Real talk though the auto attack animation on this skin feels smoother to me. Might be placebo but I swear my Q last-hitting improved when I switched to it back in season 6.

Lunar Guardian Nasus at 1350 RP is the best Epic option. Released for Lunar Revel 2018, it gives him this guardian lion aesthetic with gold and red VFX. The Q slam has this satisfying golden burst. W slow effect looks distinct from base which actually matters for gameplay clarity. His ult form with the mane flowing is probably the second best transformation after Infernal.

Battlecast Nasus is the tech-themed alternative. 1350 RP, part of Viktor's Battlecast line. Turns him into a mechanical dog which is a cool concept. The abilities get this red-orange industrial look. Not sure if it's just me but the E circle on Battlecast reads more clearly than most other skins. Good for tryhard games where you need maximum visual clarity on your Spirit Fire placement.

Space Groove Nasus surprised me. Didnt expect the funky disco aesthetic to work on the serious stack-collecting top laner but it does. The colors pop hard on the Rift. Purple and teal VFX on his abilities look great especially in river fights around dragon. His dance emote on this skin is genuinely funny. 1350 RP and worth it if you want something lighter in tone.

Armored Titan Nasus at 1350 goes for the mecha-kaiju vibe. Solid model, good VFX weight on the Q. Feels like Riot's been on a streak with recent Nasus Epics because none of the last four have been misses.

Skinlines and Thematic Fit

Nasus shows up across a bunch of skinlines. Infernal, Lunar Revel, Battlecast, Space Groove, Worldbreaker, Dreadknights, and more. The interesting thing is which themes actually fit him versus which ones feel forced.

Infernal is the obvious best fit. Nasus is already this ancient powerful being, making him a fire god just amplifies what's already there. Worldbreaker works for similar reasons. Ancient destroyer energy. Lunar Guardian taps into the guardian lion mythology which maps perfectly onto his dog-like base design. These three skinlines feel like they were made for him.

Battlecast is a stretch thematically but the execution saves it. Kinda feels like Riot forced Nasus into Viktor's robot army but the skin team made it work through sheer quality. Space Groove is the wildcard. It shouldn't work. A disco Nasus sounds ridiculous on paper. But the color palette and animations sell it hard. Been running Space Groove in normals with friends and it always gets comments in all chat.

The Fatemaker and Nightbringer lines are darker themes that suit his lore as a scholar turned destroyer. Pharaoh doubles down on his Egyptian roots which is almost too on-the-nose but hey, it was 2010. Riot wasnt exactly subtle with their thematic choices back then. Galactic is just "champion but in space" which was the entire skinline philosophy of early League.

(Sidebar for Nasus one-tricks specifically: you already know Infernal is the play for ranked but Space Groove is the one you pull out when you're feeling yourself in a normal game. Trust me on this.)

Budget vs Premium: Where to Spend on Nasus

The price range runs from 520 RP on the old Standard skins up to 1820 RP for Infernal. If you're on a budget, honestly just save for one of the Epics. The Standard tier Nasus skins are texture swaps from a different era of League. Galactic at 520 and Pharaoh at 520 give you a different color scheme and thats about it. No new particles, no new sounds. They exist and that's the nicest thing I can say.

At the Epic tier, all six options are solid but Lunar Guardian edges out as the best value at 1350. You get new model, new VFX, new recall, and new sound effects. That's the standard Epic package but Lunar Guardian's execution is above average. The Q particles alone make it worth the price.

If you can swing the 1820 for Infernal, do it. Wait for the rotating Legendary sales if you need to. Maybe just my experience but Infernal Nasus on sale is the single best value purchase for any Nasus main. New VO, new animations, the full package. The gap between Infernal and the Epics is bigger than most Legendary-to-Epic gaps in League.

Might be overthinking it but I think Riot K-9 Nasus deserves a mention here too. It's a legacy skin so you cant just buy it, but if you roll it from a chest its actually charming. Police dog Nasus with the siren on his back. Season 4 vibes. Not competitive with the modern skins on quality but it has personality that the other Standards lack.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many skins does Nasus have?

Nasus has 13 skins total as of 2025. That includes 6 Standard tier skins from the early days, 6 Epics that are all pretty solid, and one Legendary in Infernal Nasus. Decent collection for a champion whos been around since beta. Not the biggest roster but he's got options at every price point.

What is the best Nasus skin?

Infernal Nasus and it's not close. New VO, new animations, fire VFX on every ability, and the ult transformation is massive. Been my go-to Nasus skin since season 6. At 1820 RP it's the only Legendary he has and it earns the price tag. Lunar Guardian is the best Epic if you want to save some RP though.

What is the cheapest Nasus skin?

Galactic Nasus and Pharaoh Nasus both sit at 520 RP. They're old Standard skins so you're getting a recolor basically. No new particles or sounds. Functional but nothing exciting. If you're on a tight budget I'd still recommend saving up for an Epic at 1350. The quality jump is worth the wait.

Does Nasus have a Legendary skin?

Yeah, one. Infernal Nasus at 1820 RP. Dropped back in 2013 and still holds up incredibly well. Full new VO, unique animations, fire-themed VFX across all abilities. The ult especially goes hard. One of those Legendaries that aged like fine wine honestly. Played hundreds of games on it and the quality still impresses me.

What skinlines is Nasus in?

Nasus appears in Infernal, Lunar Revel, Battlecast, Space Groove, Worldbreaker, Dreadknights, Galactic, Pharaoh, and a few more. The Infernal and Lunar Revel lines fit him best thematically. Space Groove is the fun wildcard pick. Lots of variety across the collection from serious to goofy.

Does Nasus have chromas?

Several of his Epic skins have chromas available. Worldbreaker, Lunar Guardian, Battlecast, Space Groove, and the newer Epics all got chroma sets. If you like a specific skin but want to switch up the colors, there's options. I personally run the base colors on most of them but some chromas genuinely look better than default.

When was Nasus's last skin released?

Fatemaker Nasus dropped in 2025. It's his most recent skin and an Epic at 1350 RP. Good addition to the collection. Nasus has been getting skins roughly every year or two lately which is a solid cadence. Beats the days when he'd go three years without anything new.

Is Nasus worth buying skins for?

If you play him regularly, absolutely. Nasus is one of those champions where the skin makes a big difference in how satisfying the gameplay loop feels. Stacking Q with Infernal's fire bonk versus base Nasus Q is a completely different experience. Even the Epics add enough visual flair to make the grind to 500 stacks feel fresh. Worth it for mains.
