Spirit Blossom Springs Sett

First game I loaded into with Spirit Blossom Springs Sett, my support typed “nice skin” before minions even spawned. Thats rare for a top laner. The splash alone had me sold when it dropped, something about Sett in that spring festival aesthetic just works. He looks relaxed but still like he could fold you in half at a moment’s notice. Been running this in Diamond for a couple weeks now and honestly the skin just feels right on him.

What Spirit Blossom Springs changes on Sett

So this is an Epic tier skin, which means you get the model overhaul and texture work but voice lines stay base. No VO refresh. Not gonna lie, I expected at least a voice filter given the theme, but Riot kept it standard here. The outfit trades Sett’s usual brawler look for something lighter. Cherry blossom patterns across the jacket, flowing fabric, the whole spring festival vibe. His hair gets this warm tone that catches light on the Rift in a way the base skin never does.

Could be wrong here but I think the auto attack animations feel slightly different with this one. Might just be placebo from the new model proportions, but the punches read cleaner in lane. Q hits have a satisfying weight to them even without new VFX. The W still looks like base Sett’s haymaker, no particle changes there either. Same for E and R. Pure cosmetic swap.

Where this skin earns its keep is the silhouette. Sett’s a big dude and the Spirit Blossom Springs outfit makes him look broader somehow. In teamfights when you’re looking to peel or dive the backline, the model stands out against the standard Rift colors. Played maybe 40 games with it so far and I can confirm it reads well even in chaotic 5v5s around dragon pit. (Random aside: my duo partner keeps calling him “spa day Sett” and I cant even argue with that.)

The Spirit Blossom Springs line and context

Spirit Blossom Springs is Riot expanding the original Spirit Blossom universe into a more seasonal direction. The first Spirit Blossom batch was one of their best skinlines period, so coming back to it makes sense. Sett already had a Spirit Blossom skin from the earlier wave, which means you’re looking at two Spirit Blossom variants for the same champion now. Different enough visually that they dont step on each other though.

Standard Epic pricing at 1350 RP. Shop has it. Nothing limited or vault about this one, so no rush if you’re on the fence.

8 chromas total. Obsidian is the standout for me, turns the whole spring palette into something darker and more aggressive. Feels like a completely different skin at that point. Rose Quartz leans into the soft pink aesthetic harder than base, which some Sett mains I know prefer. Sapphire is clean too, the blue tones work with the floral patterns better than you’d expect. Rest are fine but those three carry the chroma set. Real talk though, if you’re only grabbing one chroma, Obsidian is the play.

Who should pick up Spirit Blossom Springs Sett

Verdict time. If you already own the original Spirit Blossom Sett, this is a harder sell. The theme overlap is real even if the execution differs. But if you skipped that first one or you’re a Sett one-trick who needs variety in the rotation, Spirit Blossom Springs Sett holds up. 1350 RP feels fair for what you get.

Been maining Sett with this skin for my last 15 ranked games this season and it hasnt left my loadout. Last Saturday around midnight I had a game where I ulted their Kayn into three people at baron and the skin just looked gorgeous mid-animation. No new particles or anything, just the model doing work. Kinda feels like this is the “chill” Sett skin for when you want something less aggressive than Mecha Kingdoms or the Obsidian Dragon line.

Skip this if you’re not already a Sett player. Not the skin thats gonna convert you. But for anyone who already locks in Sett regularly in solo queue, this is a solid addition. Not his best skin full stop, but comfortably top three depending on your taste. The chromas push it over the edge for me. Worth 1350 RP if you main Sett.
