Little Devil Fizz

First game I played with Little Devil Fizz was around 1 AM on a Tuesday, season 10 worlds patch had just dropped. Locked it in mid, and the moment Fizz hit the Rift with those little devil horns I knew this skin was gonna stay in rotation. Not gonna lie, the Demonic line doesnt always land for every champion but Fizz fits the theme like he was designed for it. Mischievous trickster fish turned into a mischievous demon fish. Makes too much sense.

What the skin actually changes

Little Devil Fizz swaps out the aquatic color palette for deep reds and dark purples. The trident becomes this jagged pitchfork looking thing, and Fizz himself gets horns, a pointed tail, wings on his back. Small model changes but they read clearly in game. Been running this in Diamond for a few seasons now and the silhouette still pops against river fights especially.

VFX got a full rework for an Epic tier skin. His Q leaves a trail of ember particles. W proc has this satisfying red burst on the empowered hit. E is where it gets good though. Playful/Trickster sends up a column of hellfire instead of water, and when you land on someone in a teamfight that splash of red flame just looks clean. Might be overthinking it but I think the E particles actually feel faster than base, even though the timing is identical.

The R is the highlight. Instead of a shark you get this massive demon creature erupting from the ground. The gaping mouth animation when it swallows someone at max range is genuinely funny to watch. Caught their ADC with it near dragon pit last week and my duo partner was losing it on comms. The recall animation fits too, Fizz summons a little portal and dives into it. Voice lines stay base, no VO refresh, but honestly Fizz’s base voice works fine here.

Demonic skinline and release context

Released October 22, 2020. Right before Halloween, which tracks. The Demonic skinline is one of Riot’s seasonal themes and Little Devil Fizz joined alongside other demon skins that patch. Lucas Parolin and West Studio handled the splash art, and they cooked. The splash captures Fizz mid-leap with fire behind him, pitchfork forward. Clean composition.

8 chromas total. Obsidian is the one I keep coming back to, the dark tones make Fizz look genuinely menacing instead of playful. Tanzanite hits a nice purple demon aesthetic that reads well against the Rift’s green tones. Rose Quartz is an interesting pick if you want something less edgy, kinda softens the whole devil vibe into something pastel. The rest are solid but those three do the most work.

Legacy vault skin, so you cant just grab it any time. Hextech only these days unless it shows up in a special shop rotation or Your Shop. 1350 RP standard Epic pricing when it was available. (Random aside: I got mine from a reroll back in season 11 and felt like I won the lottery because I’d been wanting it since release.)

Is Little Devil Fizz worth 1350 RP?

Real verdict: this is one of the stronger Fizz skins in the catalog. The Demonic theme works because Fizz already has that annoying trickster energy that makes people tilt. Slapping devil horns on him is just confirming what every bot lane player already thinks about this champion.

For Fizz mains specifically, I think this competes with Omega Squad and Fuzz Fizz for the top spot depending on your taste. Little Devil Fizz leans darker, more aggressive in its visual identity. The VFX are distinct enough that you feel the 1350 RP investment in every ability. If you’re one-tricking Fizz in ranked and you see this pop up in a loot reroll or special shop, dont skip it. Could be wrong here but I’d put this in the top three Fizz skins, maybe top two. Been daily driving it over Fisherman and Super Galaxy for two seasons now and haven’t looked back. 1350 RP feels fair for what you get, the full VFX package plus new recall on an Epic is exactly what you want at this price point.
