Faerie Court Fiora

First game I loaded into with Faerie Court Fiora, my duo said it looked like she walked out of a Ghibli movie. Honestly not gonna lie, that comparison stuck with me. The whole aesthetic leans hard into fae royalty, petals drifting off every lunge, and Fiora already has that noble duelist energy so the fantasy just clicks. Played maybe 40 ranked games with this skin the week it dropped, somewhere around late March 2023, and it became my default Fiora pick almost immediately.

VFX and what Faerie Court actually changes

This is a 1350 RP Epic tier skin so you get new VFX across the board plus a new recall animation. Voice lines stay base. No VO refresh. The Q lunge leaves behind these trailing flower particles that dissolve mid-air, which looks clean in lane when you’re proccing vitals back to back. Not flashy enough to be distracting but enough that your opponent notices you spent money.

W is where it gets interesting. The Riposte puts up this shimmering fae barrier with butterfly wing patterns. Caught a Riven mid-combo with it last week in a Diamond 2 game and the stun visual was genuinely satisfying. The particle work on the parry window reads clearly against most Rift backgrounds too, which matters more than people think for gameplay.

E hits feel snappy. The two auto resets get these petal bursts on impact. Could be wrong here but I think the sound design on the crit strike is slightly different from base, almost like a chime layered under the slash. R pops all four vitals with cascading flower explosions. Grand Challenge heal zone fills with petals. Pretty standard for the Faerie Court line but executed well on Fiora specifically because she moves through the zone constantly during fights.

Recall animation has her summoning butterflies with her blade. Short and sweet.

The Faerie Court skinline and release context

Faerie Court dropped March 23, 2023. Mid season 13. Eric Xie and West Studio handled the artwork, and they captured the elegance without overdoing the sparkle. The Faerie Court line includes champions like Katarina, Kalista, Ezreal, and a few others. Fiora fits the theme naturally because her whole kit is about precise, graceful combat. Fencing meets fairy tale.

Kinda feels like Riot designed this line specifically for champions with elegant animations. Fiora’s lunge-based playstyle means the petal trails get way more screen time than they would on a mage who stands still and casts. Every Q leaves a mark. Every vital proc scatters particles. The skin earns its value through movement and Fiora never stops moving in lane or in a splitpush scenario.

9 chromas total if you want variety. Obsidian goes dark and moody which is a weird contrast against the fairy theme but it works somehow. Sapphire shifts everything cold blue, reads cleanly in teamfights. Winsome is the standout for me personally, that purple-teal combination hits different on the VFX. (Random aside: I set the Winsome chroma splash as my Discord avatar for like two months and nobody questioned it.)

Is Faerie Court Fiora worth 1350 RP?

Real verdict: if you main Fiora this is a top three skin for her. Maybe top two. The VFX are clean without being noisy, the model looks premium, and the chromas give you enough options to not get bored after 200 games. Been running this in ranked since season 13 and its held up well even after newer Fiora skins dropped.

1350 RP feels fair for what you get. Not overpriced, not a steal, just solid value for an Epic. If you’re a Fiora one-trick climbing through Diamond or wherever, you probably already own this. If you dont, grab it. Shop has it permanently. Skip if you already have Pulsefire or Project and feel satisfied, but for my money Faerie Court Fiora is the cleaner skin for actual ranked play. The particles read well, the model doesnt blend into terrain, and the chromas keep it fresh. S-tier Fiora cosmetic.
