First time I saw Nightraven Fiora in a loading screen I thought someone was running a custom skin. The dark palette caught me off guard because most Fiora skins lean into the bright duelist fantasy, and this one just goes full stealth assassin energy. Been playing Fiora on and off since season 4, and Nightraven was actually the first skin I picked up for her back when I was still figuring out how to proc Vitals consistently.

What Nightraven actually changes

Real talk though, this is a Standard 750 RP skin from early 2012, so temper your expectations. You get a full model swap and thats about it. Fiora trades her signature white and red fencing outfit for a dark, almost midnight blue and black armor set with a hood. The sword gets a redesign too, sleeker and darker, fits the raven theme.

No new VFX on Q, W, E, or R. Voice lines stay base. No custom recall animation. What you see in the splash is basically the selling point. The hood and cape combo gives Fiora this rogue vibe that I think reads better in-game than most people expect. Especially in top lane when you’re splitting and appearing out of fog of war, the dark silhouette actually makes you look menacing for half a second before you start autoing their turret.

Not gonna lie, the model holds up surprisingly well for its age. The cape flows decent during Bladework (E) and the Lunge (Q) animation looks clean with the darker sword. Played maybe 30 games with this skin last month during a nostalgia phase and it still felt fine. Not amazing. Fine.

Release info and the Bloodstone connection

Nightraven Fiora dropped February 29, 2012. Leap day release, which is a random piece of trivia I only know because my duo pointed it out around 1 AM one night when we were looking up skin dates instead of sleeping. Part of the Bloodstone skinline, though honestly the connection is loose at best. The Bloodstone skins share this dark medieval aesthetic but Nightraven Fiora leans more shadowy rogue than blood knight.

No splash artist credited in the data. The splash itself is solid for its era, shows Fiora mid-lunge in this dimly lit corridor. Could be wrong here but I think the Bloodstone line doesn’t get enough credit for having a consistent visual identity across its roster. Nightraven Fiora fits the vibe even if Riot never expanded on the lore much.

Zero chromas available. Shop has it for 750 RP permanently, so no vault anxiety or loot gambling required.

Should you pick up Nightraven Fiora?

Verdict time. At 750 RP this is one of the cheaper Fiora options and for that price point it delivers. You’re not getting PROJECT level effects or Pulsefire’s recall, but you are getting a clean dark recolor that changes Fiora’s entire vibe. (Sidebar for Fiora mains specifically: if you already own Pool Party or iG, you probably wont touch this one much, but its nice to have in the rotation for when you want something understated.)

Best use case is if you’re climbing through ranked and want a skin that doesn’t scream “I spent money on this champion” but still looks different from default. I think for newer Fiora players especially, 750 RP is low commitment and Nightraven gives you enough of a visual upgrade to feel good about locking in Fiora. Skip it if you’re saving for a Legendary, but for a budget pick in top lane it does the job. Overpriced compared to some 520 skins that got updated splashes, but still fair for what you get.
