Singed is one of those champions where the skin catalog tells you everything about how Riot sees him: the lovable troll nobody takes seriously until he's proxy farming your top lane at level 2. Been a Singed enjoyer since season 3 and honestly his skins reflect that weird energy perfectly. Twelve skins deep, no Legendary, no Mythic, just pure chaos energy spread across standards and epics. Not gonna lie, some of these go harder than they have any right to for the price point.

The Full Singed Skin Catalog

Twelve skins spanning from 2010 all the way to 2024. Thats a solid 14-year run for the Mad Chemist. Nine Standard tier skins and three Epics, which means Riot has never dropped a Legendary on Singed. Ever. Let that sink in for a second.

The early stuff is what you'd expect from 2010-era Riot. Hextech Singed and Riot Squad Singed came out when the game was still figuring itself out visually. Simple recolors and minor model tweaks. Surfer Singed hit the Pool Party line early, Mad Scientist Singed leaned into the obvious thematic. Nothing groundbreaking but they had charm.

Mid-era Singed got some interesting picks. Augmented Singed goes full cyborg, Snow Day Singed puts him in winter gear, SSW Singed commemorates Samsung White's 2014 Worlds run. Could be wrong here but I think SSW Singed might be the least-played Worlds skin I've seen in my ranked games. Seen maybe two in the last three seasons combined.

Then 2017 hit and Riot finally gave Singed something special. Beekeeper Singed at 1350 RP was the first Epic tier skin for him and it changed the conversation entirely. After that came Resistance Singed in 2020, Black Scourge Singed somewhere in there for the edgy crowd, and then Astronaut Singed floated in. Most recently Arcane Shimmer Lab Singed dropped in 2024 tying into the Netflix show's second season.

No Legendary. No Ultimate. Just a dude with a shield on his back running at you. Twelve skins deep and the ceiling is 1350 RP. Kinda feels like Riot forgot he exists sometimes, but the three Epics they did make are all solid. Quality over quantity for the premium stuff.

Best Skins for Singed

Beekeeper Singed. Full stop. This is the one. Released at 1350 RP and it transforms everything about how the champion reads on the Rift. His Q trail becomes a stream of honey, the W is a honeycomb pool, and his E flip has bee particles. The recall animation has him tending to a beehive. Played maybe 150 games with this skin across seasons 8 through 12 and it never got old. The thematic just works perfectly for a champion whose entire kit is about leaving stuff behind for people to walk into.

Astronaut Singed is the second pick for me. The space suit model is clean, his poison trail becomes this cosmic gas effect that reads beautifully in teamfights. (Random aside: the visor reflection on the splash art is genuinely one of my favorite small details in any skin.) The W ground becomes this zero-gravity field and honestly the whole package at 1350 feels like it should cost more. Been running this one in my Diamond games this split and the VFX clarity is surprisingly good for how stylized it is.

Resistance Singed rounds out the Epic trio. Post-apocalyptic vibes, gas mask aesthetic that actually makes sense for a poison champion. The Q trail has this industrial chemical look. Not as flashy as Beekeeper or Astronaut but it fits the champion fantasy harder than either. Real talk though, if you're picking between the three Epics, Beekeeper wins on personality and Astronaut wins on visual clarity.

Riot Squad Singed at 975 RP punches way above its weight class. The riot gear theme on a champion who literally runs at people causing chaos? Perfect fit. The shield on his back becomes a riot shield. Simple change - huge impact on how the champion feels thematically. This was my go-to Singed skin for years before the Epics came out.

Hextech Singed is the budget option at 520 RP. Oldest skin in the catalog from 2010. Its mostly a recolor but the hextech blue-gold palette looks clean enough that I dont mind locking it in when I want the classic feel. Won't blow anyone's mind but for 520 RP you get what you pay for.

Skinlines and Themes That Fit Singed

Singed appears across a bunch of skinlines but not all of them land equally. The Beekeeper line is arguably where he fits best, which is wild because on paper a bee-themed poison man sounds ridiculous. But Riot made it work. The whole nature-themed chaos angle matches his gameplay identity of running around causing problems.

The Astronaut skinline is another strong fit. Something about a spaceman trailing toxic gas across the Rift just clicks. Might be overthinking it but the isolation of space combined with Singed's playstyle of being this lone agent in the enemy backline creating havoc makes thematic sense.

Pool Party through Surfer Singed is the fun one. He's on a surfboard basically. It's goofy and it knows it. Mad Scientists is the obvious home for him given his lore. Augmented fits the techno-body modification angle from his backstory. Snow Day is cute but forgettable. (Sidebar for Singed mains specifically: the Snow Day Q trail in ARAM is actually harder to see against the map, take that for what it's worth.)

The Omen of the Dark line gave us Black Scourge Singed which goes full dark fantasy. Not my personal taste but I respect the variety. SSW Singed from the World Champions 2014 line is a collector's piece more than anything. You lock that in to flex that you've been around, not because the visuals are impressive.

What Singed is missing is any premium skinline treatment. No Spirit Blossom. No PROJECT. No High Noon. Feels like there's a Legendary Dark Star Singed or Arcana Singed out there that Riot just hasnt made yet. The champion's kit with all the trailing particles and area denial would look insane with a high-budget VFX pass.

Budget vs Premium Picks

Here's the thing with Singed skins: the gap between Standard and Epic isn't massive compared to other champions. His Standard skins range from 520 to 975 RP and his Epics are all 1350. No Legendary tier exists for him so 1350 is the ceiling.

Best budget pick is Riot Squad Singed at 975 RP. The thematic cohesion carries it hard. You get a solid model change and the riot shield back piece is genuinely cool. For pure cheapness, Hextech at 520 is fine but you're basically paying for a recolor from 2010.

Premium side is easy. Beekeeper at 1350 is the definitive Singed skin. If you can only buy one skin for this champion, thats the one. Astronaut is the second pick if you want something more visually polished and modern. Resistance if you prefer the gritty military aesthetic over whimsy.

Honestly for Singed specifically the value calculation is simple. You're never spending more than 1350 RP because Riot hasn't given him anything above Epic. So even the "premium" option is mid-range pricing by League standards. 1350 feels fair for what Beekeeper delivers. Any of the three Epics are worth it if you main him. The Standards are fine for the occasional Singed game but wont make you feel anything special walking out of fountain.
