Sett Skins

10 skins available

Sett's skin catalog is one of those collections where Riot clearly knew what they had from the jump. Ten skins since 2020 and not a single miss in the bunch. Been maining him on and off since release and I think every skin they've dropped actually fits his brawler fantasy in some way. The dude punches things. Hard to mess that up visually. But some of these skins elevate the experience way beyond what you'd expect from a relatively simple kit.

Sett's Skin Collection: Five Years of Bangers

Ten skins total since January 2020. For a champion thats only been in the game five years, that's a solid release cadence. Riot clearly sees the demand. The tier breakdown tells the story: seven Epics at 1350 RP, one Legendary at 1820 RP, one Mythic Prestige, and one Exalted tier skin. No Standard or budget options exist for Sett. Every skin starts at Epic minimum.

Could be wrong here but I think Sett might be one of the few champions where they never released a 975 or lower skin. Mecha Kingdoms dropped alongside his release in early 2020. That was his launch skin. Already Epic tier. Already polished. Most champions get a cheap 975 at launch and then scale up later. Not Sett.

The collection spans from Mecha Kingdoms in 2020 all the way to Radiant Serpent in 2025. Five years, ten skins, zero duds. Each one hits a different fantasy. Mech pilot, dragon warrior, pool party bro, firecracker fighter, spiritual warrior, soul fighter, pop star, serpent deity. Played maybe 300 ranked games on Sett across seasons 10 through 14 and I've rotated through most of these.

(Random aside: Sett is one of three champions I own every skin for. The other two are Vi and Darius. Punchy champions just get good cosmetics apparently.)

The year-over-year release pace never dropped below one skin per year. 2020 got Mecha Kingdoms plus Obsidian Dragon plus the Prestige variant. 2021 was Pool Party. 2022 brought Firecracker. 2023 delivered Spirit Blossom. Real consistent output from Riot's skin team here.

Best Skins for Sett

Spirit Blossom Sett is the Legendary and it earns full price. 1820 RP. New voiceover, completely reworked animations, the W channel looks like he's gathering spiritual energy instead of just flexing. Honestly not gonna lie the recall animation alone sold me on this skin back when it dropped in 2023. His Q punches have this cherry blossom trail that reads clean in teamfights without cluttering your screen. The R slam has petals exploding outward. Good stuff.

Radiant Serpent Sett sits at the Exalted tier. Special pricing, limited availability. The serpent theming wraps around his kit perfectly. His W especially - the true damage zone looks like a serpent's maw opening up. Took this into ranked for maybe 40 games last split and the visual clarity is surprisingly good for how flashy it is. The golden serpent coiling around him during his passive regen? Chef's kiss.

Obsidian Dragon Sett and the Prestige variant both hit hard for Epic tier. The base Obsidian Dragon has this dark crystalline look on his fists. Q enhanced autos feel weightier somehow. Might be placebo but the sound design makes each punch land harder. The Prestige version goes white and gold, cleaner silhouette, better readability in chaotic fights. Been running the Prestige in Diamond this season whenever I get Sett top.

Mecha Kingdoms rounds out the top five. His original launch skin and still holds up. The mech gauntlets on his fists give the fantasy of piloting heavy machinery while punching people. W channel shows the mech powering up. Dated slightly compared to newer releases but the core design is solid. Still see it in my games regularly.

HEARTSTEEL Sett deserves a mention too. The pop star boy band angle works because Sett already has that confident cocky energy. The music-themed VFX on his abilities add rhythm to his combo pattern. Not the strongest mechanically but the personality carries it.

Skinlines and Themes That Fit Sett

Sett appears in eight skinlines: Mecha Kingdoms, Dragonmancers, Pool Party, Lunar Revel Firecracker, Spirit Blossom, Soul Fighter, HEARTSTEEL, and Modern Mythos. Not sure if it's just me but the more mystical/powerful skinlines fit him better than the casual ones.

Spirit Blossom is the standout. The entire line has this ethereal Japanese aesthetic that pairs well with Sett's half-Vastayan lore. He's already got that connection to Ionian culture. The skinline amplifies it. Dragonmancers works too because dragons and punching go together naturally. Season 10 I remember seeing Obsidian Dragon Sett everywhere in solo queue. Every other game basically.

Pool Party is fine. Fun skin. But Sett hitting people with pool noodles or whatever doesnt quite land the same way as him channeling draconic energy. The casual skinlines work as palette cleansers between the serious ones. Soul Fighter fits the fighting game aesthetic perfectly since his kit is literally a brawler kit. Kinda feels like that skin was designed for him specifically even though the whole roster got Soul Fighter variants.

HEARTSTEEL is the wildcard. Boy band Sett. Works because of his personality more than his gameplay fantasy. The confidence, the swagger. It maps onto pop star energy cleanly. Modern Mythos through Radiant Serpent brings divine serpent energy. Mythological Sett ascending to godhood status. Heavy VFX, heavy presence.

Budget vs Premium: Where to Spend on Sett

Here's the thing with Sett. No budget options exist. His cheapest skins are 1350 RP Epics. So the question isn't "cheap vs expensive" but rather "which Epic gives the most value versus going Legendary or higher."

Best value pick: Obsidian Dragon Sett at 1350 RP. New particles on every ability, dragon-themed VFX, solid model changes. Punches above its weight class for an Epic. The W especially looks premium with the obsidian crystal erupting from the ground. Played this exclusively for two seasons before Spirit Blossom came out.

If you're willing to spend Legendary money, Spirit Blossom at 1820 RP is the definitive Sett experience. New VO, new animations, the works. Worth every RP if you main him. Real talk though - if you only play Sett occasionally in ranked when he's meta, Obsidian Dragon gives you 80% of the premium feel at 74% of the Legendary price. Mecha Kingdoms still holds up too for variety. Soul Fighter is clean but forgettable next to the others.

The Exalted and Mythic skins are collector territory. Prestige Obsidian Dragon and Radiant Serpent aren't available through normal shop purchases. If you have them, great. If not, the standard options more than deliver.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many skins does Sett have?

Sett has 10 skins total as of 2025. Pretty solid count for a champion released in January 2020. That's roughly two skins per year which puts him above average for his age. Riot clearly knows he sells well and keeps the releases coming.

What is the best Sett skin?

Spirit Blossom Sett is the best overall. Legendary tier with new VO, animations, and VFX across every ability. The W channel alone makes it worth locking in. Been spamming it in Diamond since release and nothing else feels as complete. Radiant Serpent competes if you have access to it.

What is the cheapest Sett skin?

All purchasable Sett skins start at 1350 RP Epic tier. No 975 or 750 options exist. Mecha Kingdoms, Obsidian Dragon, Pool Party, Firecracker, Soul Fighter, and HEARTSTEEL all sit at 1350. He never got a budget release which is kinda unusual for any champion honestly.

Does Sett have a Legendary skin?

Yes. Spirit Blossom Sett is his Legendary at 1820 RP. Full package deal - new voice lines, unique animations, reworked VFX on Q/W/E/R, custom recall. Dropped in 2023 as part of the Spirit Blossom event. Top tier skin for the champion, earns every RP of that price tag.

What skinlines is Sett in?

Eight skinlines total: Mecha Kingdoms, Dragonmancers, Pool Party, Lunar Revel Firecracker, Spirit Blossom, Soul Fighter, HEARTSTEEL, and Modern Mythos. Wide range from mythical warrior to pop star. I think Spirit Blossom and Dragonmancers fit his fantasy best personally.

Does Sett have chromas?

Several of his Epic skins have chromas available. Obsidian Dragon, Pool Party, Firecracker, Soul Fighter, and HEARTSTEEL all got chroma sets. Usually 6-8 options each. The Obsidian Dragon chromas are particularly good since the crystal textures take color changes well. Worth grabbing if you main him.

When was Sett's last skin released?

Radiant Serpent Sett in 2025 is his most recent release. Exalted tier, Modern Mythos skinline. Divine serpent theming with heavy golden VFX. Limited availability though so you cant just grab it from the shop whenever. Previous to that was Spirit Blossom Springs Sett.

Is Sett worth buying skins for?

Absolutely if you play him regularly. His kit is visually expressive - the W channel, the R slam, the Q punches all benefit from VFX upgrades. Even at Epic tier the skins transform how he feels. If you're climbing with Sett in ranked or one-tricking him, at minimum grab Obsidian Dragon. You wont regret it.
