Jhin Skins

12 skins available

Jhin might have the single best skin catalog of any ADC in League. Not the biggest, not the flashiest across the board, but the hit rate is absurd. 12 skins total and I can count the misses on one hand. Been playing Jhin since his release in 2016 and honestly the cosmetic quality has stayed consistent in a way most champions cant match. Every time Riot drops a new Jhin skin the community loses it, and for good reason. The Virtuoso gets treated well.

How Jhin's Skin Collection Stacks Up

12 skins spanning 2016 to 2025. Not a massive roster compared to someone like Lux or Ezreal, but Jhin launched in season 6 so the pace is solid. Roughly one skin per year if you average it out, sometimes two in a good year. The tier breakdown tells you a lot about how Riot views this champion: 9 Epics, 2 Legendaries, and 1 Mythic. No filler 520 RP recolors. No budget skins at all actually. His cheapest option is 1350 RP which says something.

Could be wrong here but I think Jhin benefits from his kit being inherently dramatic. Four shots. Curtain Call. The whole "art is murder" thing. Gives skin designers a clear creative direction every single time. You're not trying to make a generic marksman look cool, you're working with a character who already has theatrical DNA baked in.

The catalog started with High Noon Jhin in 2016, same year as his release. Solid opening. Then Blood Moon dropped and people started realizing Riot had a champ who could fit basically any thematic. PROJECT came later, Dark Cosmic pushed into Legendary territory, and by the time Mythmaker rolled around in 2025 with another Legendary tag the pattern was clear. Jhin gets premium treatment.

Nine Epics at 1350 RP each. Two Legendaries at 1820. One Mythic that you cant just buy outright. No Standard tier skins exist for this champion. Period. That floor of 1350 RP means every Jhin skin has new particles, new recall, new sound effects at minimum. You're never stuck with a texture swap pretending to be worth your money.

Best Jhin Skins You Should Actually Care About

Dark Cosmic Jhin. Full stop. This is the Jhin skin. Released as a Legendary and it earned every bit of that 1820 RP price tag. The entire galaxy theme transforms his kit into something that feels like you're playing a different game. His Q bounces with cosmic energy, W fires a beam of starlight across the lane, E traps shimmer like miniature nebulas on the ground. And the R? Curtain Call becomes this massive cosmic sniper sequence where each of the four shots trails stardust. Been spamming this in Diamond for years and the animations still hit.

Not gonna lie, the auto attack sounds on Dark Cosmic carry the skin harder than most people realize. That deep resonant boom on the fourth shot. Clean. The voice processing adds this ethereal filter that makes every line feel weightier. "In carnage, I bloom" sounds different when it comes from a being made of dark matter.

Mythmaker Jhin landed in 2025 as the second Legendary and honestly it's a strong contender for best skin depending on your taste. Different vibe entirely. Where Dark Cosmic goes space horror, Mythmaker leans into ornate mythological energy. The Q grenade looks like a jade artifact bouncing between targets. His W root sends golden chains across the ground. Played maybe 30 games with it the first week it dropped and the R especially impressed me. Each Curtain Call shot has this ink-brush trail effect that fits Jhin's artist persona perfectly.

(Random aside: the Mythmaker recall animation where he paints a portrait might be the best recall in the game. Not exaggerating.)

High Noon Jhin deserves mention as the OG. Released alongside the champion in 2016 and still holds up. The Western gunslinger fantasy works so naturally with a four-shot marksman that it almost feels like the skin was designed first. At 1350 RP its a steal. The ult especially, those four shots ring out like a high noon duel and the execution marker on the fourth shot feels crisp. Grinded ranked with this before Dark Cosmic existed and it was the default pick for a reason.

Blood Moon Jhin. Kinda feels like this one gets overlooked now but back when it released it was THE Jhin skin to have. The mask redesign fits Blood Moon perfectly. Red particles on everything. The traps look menacing. For 1350 RP the visual overhaul is complete enough that you forget its not a Legendary. Took this into ranked exclusively for two seasons straight.

PROJECT: Jhin rounds out the top five for me. Cyberpunk Jhin with a futuristic rifle. The Q bounces have that digital glitch effect, his W laser looks appropriately techy. Some people find PROJECT skins generic but on Jhin specifically the precision theme aligns with his character. Might be overthinking it but there's something satisfying about a perfectionist assassin getting the high-tech treatment.

Skinlines and How They Fit the Virtuoso

Jhin shows up in eight different skinlines and the variety is genuinely impressive. High Noon, Blood Moon, PROJECT, Dark Star (via Dark Cosmic), Shan Hai Scrolls, Empyrean, World Champions twice (2016 SKT T1 and 2020 DWG), and Mythmaker. Each one interprets his theatrical killer persona through a different lens.

Dark Star is the obvious best fit. The cosmic horror angle meshes perfectly with Jhin's obsession with perfection and death as art. High Noon is a close second because the lone gunslinger archetype and Jhin's four-shot mechanic were made for each other. Real talk though, Blood Moon deserves more credit than it gets. The Japanese demon mask aesthetic on a masked serial killer who sees murder as performance? Thematic slam dunk.

Shan Hai Scrolls Jhin and Empyrean Jhin are the weaker thematic fits in my opinion. Not bad skins by any means, both are competent 1350 RP Epics with full particle changes. But they dont capture Jhin's essence the way Dark Cosmic or High Noon do. Empyrean especially felt like Jhin was just along for the ride on that skinline rather than being a natural pick for it. Could be coping but I think Soul Fighter Jhin falls in this camp too. Fun skin, decent particles, but the fighting game tournament theme doesnt scream "artistic serial killer" to me.

The two Worlds skins (SKT T1 from 2016 and DWG from 2020) are interesting because they're commemorative. Not designed around a fantasy, designed around a moment. Limited appeal unless you followed those specific rosters. Still cool to see in loading screen though.

Budget Picks vs Premium: Where to Spend on Jhin

Here's the thing with Jhin. There is no budget option. His cheapest skin is 1350 RP. No 750 RP throwaway exists. No 520 recolor. If you want a Jhin skin you're spending at minimum 1350 and honestly thats fine because every Epic in his catalog delivers.

Best value pick is High Noon Jhin at 1350 RP without question. Original skin, iconic design, particles that still look good in 2026. Blood Moon at the same price is the runner up. Both give you the full Epic experience with new VFX, SFX, and recall for standard pricing.

If you're willing to go Legendary, Dark Cosmic at 1820 RP is worth every point of RP. New voice processing, new animations, completely transformed ability visuals. The gap between Dark Cosmic and a standard Epic Jhin skin is massive. Mythmaker Jhin matches it at 1820 with a different aesthetic if cosmic isn't your thing. Been daily driving Dark Cosmic since season 9 I think or 10 dont remember exactly, and nothing else in the catalog makes me want to switch permanently.

Dark Cosmic Erasure is Mythic tier so you cant just buy it. Special currency only. Great skin if you have the Mythic Essence but not something I'd recommend chasing specifically when regular Dark Cosmic exists at 1820.

Skip advice: if you only main Jhin casually, High Noon. If you one-trick him, Dark Cosmic. Simple as that. (Sidebar for Jhin mains specifically: you probably already own both and rotate based on mood. I see you.)

Frequently Asked Questions

How many skins does Jhin have?

12 skins total as of 2025. Nine Epics, two Legendaries, one Mythic. No budget skins exist for Jhin, everything starts at 1350 RP minimum. Solid catalog for a champion released in 2016. Not the biggest roster but the quality floor is higher than most ADCs in the game right now.

What is the best Jhin skin?

Dark Cosmic Jhin. Not close. The Legendary tier treatment with full new VO processing, cosmic VFX on every ability, and that fourth-shot sound design puts it above everything else. Been running this in ranked for years and it still feels premium. Mythmaker Jhin is the only real competitor if you prefer the mythological aesthetic over space horror.

What is the cheapest Jhin skin?

Every Jhin skin costs 1350 RP minimum. No 520 or 750 RP options exist. His entire Epic catalog sits at 1350 which is the floor. High Noon Jhin at 1350 is probably the best value if you want the cheapest option that still delivers a complete visual overhaul with new particles and recall animation.

Does Jhin have a Legendary skin?

Two Legendaries actually. Dark Cosmic Jhin and Mythmaker Jhin, both at 1820 RP. Dark Cosmic dropped first and basically set the standard for what a Legendary ADC skin should be. Mythmaker came later in 2025. Both have new voice processing, animations, and completely reworked ability VFX. Worth the price for mains.

What skinlines is Jhin in?

Eight skinlines: High Noon, Blood Moon, PROJECT, Dark Star (the Cosmic variant), Shan Hai Scrolls, Empyrean, Soul Fighter, and Mythmaker. Plus two World Champions skins for SKT T1 2016 and DWG 2020. High Noon and Dark Star fit his fantasy best in my experience. Empyrean is probably the weakest thematic fit.

Does Jhin have chromas?

Several of his Epic skins have chroma sets. Shan Hai Scrolls Jhin, Empyrean Jhin, and others got the chroma treatment. The availability varies per skin. Not every Jhin skin has them though, notably his Legendaries and older releases like High Noon launched without chromas. Check individual skin pages for specific counts.

When was Jhin's last skin released?

Mythmaker Jhin in 2025. Legendary tier at 1820 RP. Came with the Mythmaker skinline batch and honestly it delivered. Full new VO, ability reworks, the whole package. Jhin tends to get at least one skin per year so the next one probably isnt far off. Riot knows he sells.

Is Jhin worth buying skins for?

Absolutely. Jhin has one of the best skin catalogs in the game. His kit is dramatic and theatrical which means every skin gets to do something interesting with the four-shot mechanic, Curtain Call, and trap visuals. If you main him even casually, High Noon at 1350 RP is an easy first pickup. One-tricks should grab Dark Cosmic eventually. No regrets.
