Braum Skins

9 skins available

Braum has one of those skin catalogs where nothing is outright bad but nothing hits the Legendary tier either. Nine skins deep and every single Epic is 1350 RP. No Legendary. No Ultimate. Just a solid lineup of Epics and a few Standards that do the job. Been playing Braum on and off since his release in 2014, mostly as a pocket pick when my team needs frontline engage and nobody wants to tank. Kinda feels like Riot knows he sells but never commits to giving him the full treatment. Still, there's some real gems in here if you know where to look.

How Braum's Skin Collection Shaped Up Over the Years

Nine skins spanning from 2014 to 2025. Not a massive catalog compared to champions like Lux or Ezreal, but for a support tank released in season 4, its decent. Braum launched with Dragonslayer as his release skin and Riot kept feeding him new looks roughly once a year for a while. Three Standards sit at the lower end and six Epics fill out the rest. No Legendary anywhere in the lineup.

That last part bugs me a little. Braum's whole personality is built for a Legendary. The guy has one of the best voice kits in the game already. Imagine new VO lines with that accent. Could be wrong here but I think Riot's been sleeping on the potential. His kit is visually expressive too - the shield wall on E, the ult slam, the passive proc stacks. All of it translates well to skin themes.

The catalog started with Dragonslayer back in 2014. Dragon World theme, pretty standard release skin treatment. Then El Tigre dropped same year if I remember right, Luchador theme. Braum Lionheart came along for the Rift Quest line. Santa Braum hit during Snowdown Showdown. Crime City gave him the mobster look. Sugar Rush went full candy. Pool Party put him on the beach. Grill Master is the newest from 2025, Day Job skinline. And then there's Victorious Braum which you cant buy - ranked reward only.

(Random sidebar: Braum being in both Luchador and Day Job skinlines tells you everything about how Riot sees this champion. He's the wholesome fun guy. Always.)

The tier breakdown is straightforward. Three Standards for players who want something different without spending much, six Epics all at 1350 RP for the full new model plus VFX treatment. No premium tier options exist. Honestly thats both a blessing and a curse. You save money but you never get that jaw-drop Legendary experience with Braum.

Best Skins for Braum

El Tigre Braum takes first place for me. Full stop. The Luchador theme fits Braum's personality so perfectly it almost feels like it should have been his base design. The wrestling mask, the championship belt shield, the entire package screams Braum energy. His E shield wall becomes this massive wrestling ring barrier thing and the Q poro turns into a miniature luchador projectile. Been running this in my Diamond games since season 6 and I still havent gotten tired of it. The recall animation where he flexes and poses? Chef's kiss.

Santa Braum is the seasonal pick and honestly one of the better Snowdown skins in the entire game. Not gonna lie, I lock this in every December without thinking. The shield becomes a giant present, his Q throws a poro with a Santa hat, and the ult creates this ice rink with holiday decorations. The whole vibe just works. Braum already feels like a warm, protective dad character and slapping a Santa outfit on him is the most natural skin concept Riot ever produced.

Crime City Braum surprised me. Didnt expect the mobster aesthetic to work on a support tank but the pinstripe suit plus the vault door shield sells the fantasy hard. His passive proc stacks show up as these golden coin indicators. The E wall deploys like a bank vault opening. Played maybe 40 games with this one last split and it felt clean in lane. The VFX on his ult have this gold and black color scheme that reads well in teamfights too.

Sugar Rush Braum is the wildcard. Gingerbread man Braum with a candy cane shield. Sounds ridiculous. Looks ridiculous. But the ability VFX are surprisingly well done - the Q throws this frosted projectile and the R creates a candy-themed fissure across the ground. Not sure if it's just me but the auto attack animations feel slightly smoother on this skin. Probably placebo. Still fun though.

Pool Party Braum rounds out my top five. The pool noodle as a weapon, the kiddie pool shield on his E, the beach ball poro Q. Standard Pool Party fare but Braum's model looks good shirtless with the Hawaiian shorts. The splash is solid. Took this into ranked for a few weeks last summer and got compliments from my ADC more than once. Small thing but it matters when you're grinding support in solo queue.

Skinlines and Themes That Work for Braum

Braum sits in eight different skinlines across his nine skins. Dragon World, Luchador, Rift Quest, Snowdown Showdown, Crime City, Sugar Rush, Pool Party, and Day Job. Plus Victorious which is its own category. That's a wide spread for a champion with only nine skins total.

The ones that fit his fantasy best are Luchador and Snowdown. Real talk though, anything that leans into Braum's protective dad energy or his physical strength works. Crime City shouldn't work but does because the vault door shield concept is just clever design. Pool Party is obvious. Sugar Rush leans into the goofy side.

Rift Quest with Braum Lionheart is interesting. The D&D paladin knight vibe matches Braum's protector identity from the lore. Shield. Armor. Defending the weak. It maps cleanly. Might be overthinking it but I think this skin doesn't get enough credit. Its a Standard tier skin so the VFX changes are minimal, but the model swap alone carries it.

The Day Job line is newer and Grill Master Braum from 2025 puts him in a chef apron with a grill lid as his shield. Fits the wholesome Braum energy perfectly. Riot clearly has a template for Braum skins at this point - find a scenario where a big friendly guy would use a shield-shaped object. Wrestling ring barrier. Vault door. Present box. Kiddie pool. Grill lid. The formula works every time and I'm not complaining.

(Honestly unrelated but the fact that Braum has never gotten a serious dark-themed skin says a lot. No Dark Star. No Blood Moon. No Coven. The man is permanently locked into wholesome territory.)

Budget vs Premium Picks for Braum

Here's where Braum's catalog is actually kind to your wallet. The ceiling is 1350 RP. No Legendary tax. No Ultimate money sink. Your most expensive option is the same price as a basic Epic on any other champion. Fair warning, that also means no new voice lines on any purchasable skin. Base VO across the board.

For budget players, Dragonslayer Braum at 750 RP is the cheapest option in the shop. Decent model change, dragon-themed armor, does the job. Braum Lionheart sits at 750 too. Both give you a visual refresh without the full VFX overhaul that Epics provide.

Best value pick overall? El Tigre at 1350. The amount of personality crammed into that skin justifies the price easily. 1350 feels fair for what you get there. If you want to spend less, Dragonslayer at 750 punches above its weight - the dragon armor model looks more expensive than it is. Been daily driving Dragonslayer on my smurf account because I dont want to buy El Tigre twice and it holds up fine in season 14 games.

Victorious Braum is technically free but you needed Gold+ in the right season to earn it. If you have it, great. Trophy skin. If you dont, you're not missing much gameplay-wise. The purple and gold VFX are nice but nothing you'd pick over El Tigre or Santa in a vacuum.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many skins does Braum have?

Nine skins total as of 2025. Three Standards and six Epics. No Legendary or Ultimate in the lineup. Victorious Braum exists too but thats a ranked reward, not something you can buy from the shop. Dragonslayer was his first back in 2014, Grill Master is the most recent from 2025.

What is the best Braum skin?

El Tigre Braum. The Luchador theme fits him perfectly and the VFX work is clean across all abilities. Been spamming this in ranked for multiple seasons. Santa Braum is the runner-up, especially if you play during the holidays. Crime City is a dark horse pick with great shield VFX.

What is the cheapest Braum skin?

Dragonslayer Braum and Braum Lionheart both sit at 750 RP. Standard tier skins so you get a model change but no major VFX overhaul. Dragonslayer is the better value of the two in my opinion - the dragon armor model looks clean and reads well on the Rift.

Does Braum have a Legendary skin?

Nope. Zero Legendaries. His entire purchasable catalog tops out at Epic tier, 1350 RP max. Feels like a missed opportunity honestly. Braum's voice and personality are built for a Legendary with new VO lines. Maybe someday. For now the Epics carry.

What skinlines is Braum in?

Eight skinlines total. Dragon World, Luchador, Rift Quest, Snowdown Showdown, Crime City, Sugar Rush, Pool Party, and Day Job. Plus Victorious as its own thing. Wide variety for nine skins. Luchador and Snowdown fit Braum's personality the best if you ask me.

Does Braum have chromas?

Some of his Epic skins do have chroma options. Sugar Rush and Crime City both got chromas when they released. The chroma counts vary per skin so check the individual skin pages for the full breakdown. Worth grabbing if you already own the base skin and want variety in your ranked games.

When was Braum's last skin released?

Grill Master Braum dropped in 2025. Part of the Day Job skinline. Puts him in a chef apron with a grill lid shield. Classic Braum energy. Before that there was a bit of a gap, which is normal for support tanks. Riot tends to prioritize mid laners and ADCs for skin releases.

Is Braum worth buying skins for?

If you main support and play Braum regularly, absolutely. El Tigre alone justifies the investment at 1350 RP. The nice thing is nothing costs more than that, so you're not looking at Legendary prices. Even picking up two or three Epics wont break the bank. Solid catalog for support mains climbing in ranked.
