Arcane Skins

All 16 skins in the Arcane skinline. Browse splash art, chromas, and detailed reviews for every Arcane skin in League of Legends.

Not gonna lie, Arcane is probably the only skinline in League that made me care about a Netflix show before I even finished episode one. The whole aesthetic hits different when you already know these champions inside out from thousands of ranked games. Riot pulled directly from the show's art direction and it shows. Dark Piltover golds, Zaun greens, that gritty painterly style on every splash. 16 skins across two seasons of the show, spanning 2021 to 2025. Some of these are the best character-specific skins Riot has ever made. Some feel like merch. Gonna break it all down.

What Sets the Arcane Line Apart from Everything Else

Most skinlines in League share a fantasy. Star Guardian is magical girl anime. High Noon is demonic western. Arcane doesn't do that. It pulls from a specific show with specific character arcs, and the skins reflect actual moments in the narrative. Thats a big deal because it means every skin in the line tells you something about where that champion was emotionally or physically in the story.

The visual identity is grounded. No giant particle explosions, no cosmic swirls. You get muted color palettes, industrial textures, brass and copper tones for Piltover skins, toxic greens and purples for the Zaun crew. The splash arts across the Arcane line feel like movie posters. Consistent lighting direction, dramatic framing. Could be wrong here but I think these are some of the most cohesive splashes Riot has ever commissioned for a single skinline.

VFX across the line stay relatively subtle for the Standard and Epic tiers. You're not getting the particle overload that something like Spirit Blossom dumps on screen. The Legendaries though, those go hard. New animations, new VO pulled from the show's voice actors, walk cycles that match the characters' on-screen personalities. Viktor's movements feel different. Jayce carries himself differently. Vi punches differently.

(Random aside: my duo partner who never watched Arcane started watching it because of the Viktor skin login screen. Riot's marketing team earning their paycheck for once.)

Compare this to something like PROJECT or Pulsefire where the skins share a color scheme and some tech-themed particles but feel interchangeable. Arcane skins feel like they belong to specific characters having specific bad days. The cohesion comes from narrative, not just art direction. That distinction matters when you're staring at a skin for 300 games.

Best Arcane Skins Worth Your RP

Real talk though, the standout is Arcane Fractured Jinx. Exalted tier. This skin captures Jinx at her most unhinged point in season two and it shows in every animation. The way she moves in lane feels chaotic, unpredictable. Her recall is genuinely unsettling if you know the show context. Been spamming this in Diamond since it dropped and the amount of compliments I get in lobby chat is wild. Might be the single best Jinx skin in the game, and Jinx has like fifteen skins at this point.

Arcane Savior Viktor is the Legendary that surprised me most. Played maybe 40 games with it the first week. Viktor mains waited years for a skin that captured his tragic arc and Riot delivered. The VO lines reference his transformation, the ability VFX shift as the game progresses. His E laser feels heavier. His Q shield has that hexcore glow. Not sure if it's just me but his auto attack animation feels smoother too, which helps with cs in lane.

Arcane Brawler Vi. Another Legendary and honestly its the definitive Vi skin now. The gauntlets look industrial, worn, real. Her Q charge-up has weight to it. The recall animation where she's catching her breath after a fight. Small detail but it sells the fantasy of playing a street brawler from Zaun, not a cartoon superhero. Locked in this skin for my entire climb last season.

Arcane Survivor Jayce rounds out the Legendary trio. Good skin. Not as emotionally impactful as Viktor or Vi for me personally, but the dual-form animations are clean and the hammer mode VFX feel appropriately brutal. Jayce mains seem to love it. I've seen it in maybe half my games where someone picks Jayce since around November 2024.

Prestige Arcane Commander Caitlyn deserves a mention. Mythic tier. The gold and white color scheme on Caitlyn's Piltover enforcer outfit looks premium. Kinda feels like the skin was designed for the splash art first and the in-game model second, which is a compliment and a complaint at the same time. Still, top three Caitlyn skins easy.

The Champion Roster and Who Actually Fits

Ten champions across 16 skins. Some champions got two skins because of character development across seasons. Caitlyn has Enforcer, Commander, and Prestige Commander. Jayce has Inventor and Survivor. Jinx has Enemy and Fractured. Ekko has Firelight and Last Stand. Vi has Undercity and Brawler. Makes sense narratively.

Jinx and Vi fit the Arcane theme perfectly because the show is literally about them. No surprise there. Viktor fits because his transformation arc is central to season two. Ekko works because Firelight Ekko captures that resistance leader energy from the Zaun underground scenes. Could be wrong here but Ekko might have the most faithful adaptation from show to game across both his skins.

Heimerdinger feels slightly off to me. Love the character in the show but Arcane Professor Heimerdinger in-game just looks like Heimerdinger with a slightly different outfit. Standard tier, 975 RP, and it shows. Same energy with Singed. Arcane Shimmer Lab Singed is fine but doesn't capture the menace that Singed has in the show. Maybe just my experience but these two feel like obligation picks rather than passion projects.

Warwick is interesting. Arcane Vander Warwick ties directly into the show's big reveal and the skin carries emotional weight if you watched it. In-game though, its a Standard tier skin at 975 RP so dont expect miracles. Mel rounds out the roster as the newest addition, Arcane Councilor Mel, bringing the political side of Piltover into the game.

Who should be added? Honestly the Arcane roster is probably complete since the show ended. But if Riot ever does a spinoff, I'd kill for an Arcane Sevika skin. That woman carried half the fight scenes in season two.

Tier Breakdown and What You're Actually Paying

Here's where it gets interesting. The Arcane line has a weird tier distribution. Five Standard skins at 975 RP, six Epics, three Legendaries at 1820 RP, one Mythic (Prestige Caitlyn), and one Exalted (Fractured Jinx). The line is bottom-heavy with cheap skins from the season one release back in November 2021 and top-heavy with premium skins from season two in late 2024 and 2025.

The Legendaries carry this line. Hard. Without Savior Viktor, Brawler Vi, and Survivor Jayce, you're looking at a collection of decent-but-unremarkable show tie-in skins. The three Legendaries have new VO, new animations, new VFX on every ability. They justify the 1820 RP. The Epics at 1350 RP are solid. Arcane Commander Caitlyn and Arcane Last Stand Ekko both punch above their tier in terms of splash quality.

The 975 RP Standards from 2021 show their age. Arcane Enforcer Caitlyn, Arcane Undercity Vi, Arcane Firelight Ekko. These were released when Riot was still figuring out the show tie-in formula. Model changes, maybe some texture work, base voice lines. Fine for what they cost but if you're climbing ranked in season 15 these feel outdated next to the Legendary versions of the same champions.

Price range across the full line: 975 to 1820 RP. Fair warning, if you want the complete Arcane collection you're looking at a significant RP investment. 16 skins. I'd say cherry-pick the Legendaries and your favorite Epic, skip the Standards unless you're a completionist one-trick for one of those champions.

Arcane Skins FAQ

How many Arcane skins are there?

16 Arcane skins total as of 2025. The line launched with the first batch in November 2021 when season one of the show dropped on Netflix. Season two brought a bigger wave of skins in late 2024 and into 2025, including three Legendaries and the Exalted Fractured Jinx. Covers ten champions from the Piltover and Zaun cast.

What is the best Arcane skin?

Arcane Fractured Jinx takes it for me. Exalted tier, incredible animations, and the emotional weight from the show bleeds into every ability. Arcane Savior Viktor is a close second though. Been running Viktor with that skin in my Diamond games since December 2024 and the VO alone makes it S-tier. Really depends on which champion you main.

Which champions have Arcane skins?

Ten champions total. Jinx, Vi, Caitlyn, Jayce, and Ekko each got two skins across both seasons. Viktor, Warwick, Singed, Heimerdinger, and Mel each have one. Caitlyn technically has three if you count the Prestige version separately. The roster pulls from the show's main cast so no random champions thrown in.

Does Arcane have Legendary skins?

Three Legendaries at 1820 RP each. Arcane Savior Viktor, Arcane Survivor Jayce, and Arcane Brawler Vi. All three came with the season two wave. New VO with show voice actors, completely new animations, unique VFX on every ability. These are the crown jewels of the Arcane line and honestly some of the best Legendaries Riot has put out recently.

When did the Arcane skinline release?

First wave dropped November 2021 alongside Arcane season one on Netflix. Bunch of Standard and Epic tier skins for the initial launch. The bigger second wave came in late 2024 and continued into 2025 with season two of the show, bringing the Legendaries, the Exalted Jinx skin, and Prestige Caitlyn. Four year spread total.

Are Arcane skins worth buying?

The Legendaries absolutely yes. Brawler Vi and Savior Viktor are top-tier skins for their champions. The Epics are solid value at 1350 RP. The 975 Standard skins from 2021 feel dated now though, not gonna lie. If you watched the show and main any of these champions, the Arcane skins hit harder than almost anything else in their skin pools.

Do Arcane skins have chromas?

Most of the Arcane skins don't have chromas. The line leans into show-accurate color schemes so alternate colors would break the narrative consistency. Some of the Epic tier skins picked up chromas but the Legendaries and Exalted Jinx stayed single-palette. Makes sense honestly, you dont put a pink chroma on a war-torn Viktor.

Will Riot make more Arcane skins?

Probably not. Arcane the show wrapped up with season two and Riot released skins for all the major characters. Unless a new Riot animated series features these same champions in a way that warrants new skins, I think the Arcane line is complete at 16. Could be wrong here but the narrative closure feels intentional. Riot moved on to other skinlines already.
