Twisted Fate Skins
16 skins availableTwisted Fate is one of those champions where the skin catalog tells a story. Been maining him on and off since season 3, and his collection sits at 16 skins now. Some of them are genuinely fantastic. Some are relics from 2009 that Riot probably forgot about. The range between his worst and best skin is massive, which honestly makes picking one harder than it should be. Not gonna lie, half the reason I keep coming back to TF in ranked is because rotating between his skins keeps the pick feeling fresh even after hundreds of games.

Twisted Fate Skin Collection Overview
Sixteen skins for a champion who's been in the game since launch. Sounds about right. TF was one of the original 40 champions back in 2009, and Riot has been steadily adding cosmetics for him ever since. The newest drop is Victorious Twisted Fate from 2025, which means he's had skins coming in across basically every era of League.
The tier breakdown is interesting. Nine Standard skins, six Epics, and one Legendary. Thats a heavy lean toward the cheaper side, and it makes sense when you consider how many of those Standards came from early League when every skin was basically a recolor with maybe a new hat. The Epics are where things get real though. Blood Moon, Pulsefire, Odyssey, DWG, Crime City Nightmare, and Space Groove all sit at 1350 RP and most of them deliver solid value for the price.
Could be wrong here but I think TF has one of the more underrated catalogs in the game. He doesnt get the hype that Lux or Ezreal skins generate, but there's genuine quality spread across his options. The Legendary is a whole separate conversation (more on that below). What I appreciate is the variety. You want dark and edgy? Blood Moon. Sci-fi? Pulsefire. Goofy? Space Groove exists.
From 2009 to 2025, sixteen years of skins. The early stuff like Jack of Hearts and Tango are products of their time. Simple recolors, no new particles, base voice lines. But starting around 2016 with Blood Moon, Riot clearly started putting real effort into TF cosmetics. The jump in quality from his Standard skins to his Epic ones is night and day. (sidebar: I still remember when Blood Moon TF dropped and suddenly every mid laner in my Diamond games was locking in TF for a week straight)
Best Twisted Fate Skins
Real talk though. Picking the best TF skin depends on what you value. Spammed most of these across ranked games over the years, so here's my honest take on the standouts.
Blood Moon Twisted Fate hits different. The thematic fit is perfect for a card-slinging gambler type. His W cards get these deep crimson and navy tones, and the gold card stun effect with the Blood Moon particles just looks clean in teamfights. The recall animation where he's sitting at a low table dealing cards is probably my favorite recall in his entire catalog. Been running this one in ranked since it came out and it still holds up. 1350 RP well spent for mains.
Pulsefire Twisted Fate is the tech-fantasy option. Released as part of the Pulsefire line, the skin turns his cards into holographic projections. Q feels noticeably crisper to me with the new VFX, like the Wild Cards have more visual weight when they fan out. Could be placebo. Probably is. But the skin reads well in lane and the R channel animation with the futuristic globe is sick. Took this into ranked for maybe 40 games last season and it performed well visually even in cluttered fights.
Odyssey Twisted Fate goes full space pirate. Fits his personality honestly better than half his other themes. The coat, the attitude, the W effects with that orange-gold space dust. His E passive proc has this satisfying flash to it. Not sure if it's just me but the auto attack animation feels smoother on this skin compared to base. Might be overthinking it but plenty of TF one-tricks in my games swear the same thing.
DWG Twisted Fate is the esports commemorative skin from DAMWON Gaming's Worlds run. ShowMaker's TF was iconic during that tournament, and the skin captures that energy. Clean white and blue color scheme. The cards have that DWG branding worked into the effects. It's a solid 1350 RP pick especially if you watched Worlds that year. Had this in rotation for a while after release.
Crime City Nightmare Twisted Fate deserves a mention too. The noir detective vibe with eldritch horror undertones works surprisingly well. His W cards look like they're dripping with some kind of dark energy, and the overall silhouette change makes him look more menacing in lane. Good skin. Not my personal favorite but I get why people rank it highly.
Skinlines and Themes That Fit Twisted Fate
TF shows up in a bunch of skinlines but not all of them suit him equally. The High Noon line is an obvious fit. Gambler, cards, Wild West. High Noon Twisted Fate was released back in the early days and its a Standard skin so dont expect new particles, but the thematic connection is undeniable. Kinda feels like that should have been his default fantasy.
Blood Moon is where Riot nailed a less obvious pairing. Japanese demon mythology and a card magician shouldn't work together on paper, but the execution is clean. The skinline gave TF's kit the dramatic flair it needed. Meanwhile PAX Twisted Fate exists in its own category entirely. Convention exclusive from 2009. One of the rarest skins in the game period. Most players will never see one in their games. Seen exactly two in maybe six thousand ranked games over the years.
The Trick-or-Treat line (Underworld TF) gives him a ghostly green palette that reads well on the Rift. Space Groove is the wildcard pick, pun intended. It's colorful, its weird, and it leans into a disco-funk aesthetic that has no business being on Twisted Fate but somehow works. (random aside: my duo partner refuses to play with me when I use Space Groove because he says the colors distract him in bot lane)
Fables and High Society are thinner skinlines but they give TF additional variety. The Soccer Cup tie-in with Red Card Twisted Fate is a fun novelty, especially during Worlds or international events. Sixteen skins across this many different themes means you're never stuck with just one visual identity for the champion.
Budget vs Premium Twisted Fate Skins
The price spread on TF skins runs from 520 RP all the way up to 1820 RP for the Legendary. Nine of his skins are Standard tier, which means most of them sit at 520 or 750 RP. Cheap but basic. No new particles, no new VO, just model swaps. If you're climbing and want something different from base without spending much, Cutpurse at 750 RP is a clean look. Simple pirate aesthetic, reads well in game.
For the Epics at 1350 RP, Blood Moon is the best value pick. Full stop. New particles on every ability, solid recall, strong thematic identity. Pulsefire and Odyssey are close behind. Fair warning though, if you're the type who cycles through skins between games, owning three Epics for TF means you're spending 4050 RP total. At that point you might ask whether The Magnificent Twisted Fate at 1820 RP is worth it as a single premium option instead.
Honest take on The Magnificent: it's a Legendary from the old era. Released when Legendary meant "slightly better than Epic." The skin has a tuxedo magician theme but lacks the modern Legendary treatment like new VO or completely overhauled animations. It feels overpriced by 2025 standards. Played maybe 15 games with it last split and went back to Blood Moon. Hard to recommend at full price unless you're a completionist.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many skins does Twisted Fate have?
Twisted Fate has 16 skins total as of 2025. That includes nine Standard tier, six Epic, and one Legendary. Solid catalog for a champion who's been around since League launched in 2009. Not the biggest collection but theres enough variety to keep things interesting if you main him in ranked.
What is the best Twisted Fate skin?
Blood Moon Twisted Fate is the pick for most players. 1350 RP, full particle overhaul, excellent thematic fit. The recall animation alone sells it. Pulsefire and Odyssey are strong alternatives if you want sci-fi over dark fantasy. Been spamming Blood Moon for years and it still feels premium.
What is the cheapest Twisted Fate skin?
Several of his Standard skins sit at 520 RP. Jack of Hearts and Tango Twisted Fate are among the cheapest options. They're basic model swaps with no new VFX or animations. Fine if you just want something different from default without dropping serious RP. Cutpurse at 750 is a slight step up.
Does Twisted Fate have a Legendary skin?
Yeah, The Magnificent Twisted Fate is his one Legendary at 1820 RP. Fair warning though, it's from the old Legendary era so it doesn't have the modern treatment you'd expect. No new voice lines, limited animation changes. Looks decent but feels dated compared to recent Legendaries. Most TF mains prefer his Epic skins honestly.
What skinlines is Twisted Fate in?
TF appears across a bunch of lines. Blood Moon, Pulsefire, Odyssey, High Noon, Space Groove, Crime City Nightmare, PAX, and more. High Noon fits his gambler fantasy perfectly. Blood Moon is the fan favorite for competitive play. Honestly he slots into most themes well because the card aesthetic is flexible.
Does Twisted Fate have chromas?
Some of his Epic skins come with chromas. Blood Moon, Pulsefire, Crime City Nightmare, and Space Groove all have chroma sets available. The standard stuff like Jack of Hearts or Tango dont have chromas since they're older skins. Check the individual skin pages for specific chroma counts and color options.
When was Twisted Fate's last skin released?
Victorious Twisted Fate dropped in 2025 as the ranked reward skin. Before that, Space Groove came out as a regular shop release. Riot's been giving TF fairly consistent skin attention over the years. Not the fastest release cadence but he's never gone more than a couple years without something new.
Is Twisted Fate worth buying skins for?
If you play him regularly, absolutely. His Epic skins at 1350 RP are all solid and the VFX changes on W cards make a real difference in how the champ feels to play. Even one good skin changes the experience. Blood Moon alone justifies the investment. Skip the Standards unless theyre on sale, go straight for an Epic.
