Patch 14.5 is here – and while it’s not the largest patch, it packs some serious punch with a total rework of core items, fresh Artifacts, and various balance changes across both Cyber City and Revival: Remix Rumble. Item Overhaul, Opening Encounter changes, Augment removals – here’s the TL;DR before you drop into your next game.

🎯 What’s Changing

  • Major Item Update: Core items have been reimagined, rebalanced, and in some cases, repurposed as Artifacts for increased power and fantasy clarity.

  • Cyber City gets a balance nudge; Remix Rumble keeps jammin’ with trait and champ tuning.

  • Some Augments and Opening Encounters are being retired due to bugs or design issues.

  • Cosmetics have a simplified rarity structure for cleaner clarity.

🐛 Bug Fixes (Live)

  • Anger Issues and Category Five Augments are now properly disabled.

  • Support Cache will no longer offer a null item.

🧪 A-Patch Quick Fixes (May 28th)

A-Patch = emergency tuning, applied shortly after the main patch goes live.

Morgana Bastion Nerfs:

  • Bastion Armor & MR: 18/40/75 +30 → 18/36/70 +25

  • Bastion Emblem AP conversion: 20% → 15%

This targets the overperforming Morgana Bastion (6) variant, aiming to reduce its mid-game tank wall status.

🎁 Cosmetic Overhaul

  • Rare and Epic Little Legends (pre-14.5) now fall under a single Standard tier.

  • Three-star content = non-upgradable Little Legends and Booms.

🌀 Systems Adjustments

Two Opening Encounters have been disabled:

  • Upgraded Start (too snowbally with 2-star 2-cost champs + random items).

  • To Split or Not to Split (bugged logic removed the dilemma).

Increased odds for other Opening Encounters:

  • Fourth Augment: +1.5% to +1.5% across stages

  • Invested, Prismatic Opener/Finale, Crab Rave: slight % boosts

  • Anima Visage → The Indomitable (new Artifact)

🛠️ Item Rework & Artifact Expansion

⭐ Highlights:

  • Rageblade now scales with time, not on-hit AS – promotes diversity and removes over-scaling.

  • Striker’s Flail is the new Guardbreaker – crit to amp damage instead of relying on shield procs.

  • Kraken’s Fury = Archangel’s Staff, but for AD champs.

  • Spirit Visage replaces Redemption – self-sustain, not team-wide healing.

  • Sterak’s Gage offers a beefier shield and is more noticeable.

  • Statikk Shiv moves to Artifact territory – Void Staff fills its role for AOE MR shred.
