Yone

Yone Skins

11 skins available

Yone might be the most consistently well-skinned champion Riot has put out in the last five years. Not gonna lie, when he launched in 2020 with Spirit Blossom I figured he'd get the Yasuo treatment: a million skins, half of them mid. Wrong. Eleven skins deep and there's maybe one or two I'd skip. The rest range from solid to genuinely impressive. Been maining Yone on and off since season 11 and I've bought more of his skins than I care to admit. The catalog hits different when almost every entry is Epic or above.

How Yone's Skin Collection Shaped Up

Eleven skins total since his 2020 release. That's aggressive pacing for a champion thats only been around five years. Riot clearly knows he sells. The tier breakdown tells the story: seven Epics, two Legendaries, two Mythics. Zero Standard-tier skins. Not a single 975 RP option in the bunch. Minimum entry price is 1350 RP. Kinda feels like Riot decided from day one that Yone would be premium-only territory.

Spirit Blossom Yone dropped as his launch skin in August 2020. Smart move pairing him with one of the best skinlines Riot ever produced. From there he got Battle Academia, then Dawnbringer which was his first Legendary. Ocean Song in 2022 was the curveball nobody expected. Yone in swim trunks. Sure.

2023 brought Inkshadow and HEARTSTEEL back to back. The HEARTSTEEL line got him a Prestige variant too, so that's two skins from one thematic. High Noon landed in 2024 with another Legendary and its own Mythic Peacemaker variant. Then 2025 gave us Masked Justice and T1 Yone for the esports crowd. Could be wrong here but I think Yone has one of the highest average skin quality floors in the game. When your worst skin is still a 1350 Epic, you're doing fine.

The pacing is worth noting too. Roughly two skins per year, sometimes three if you count Prestige or Mythic variants separately. Riot hasn't slowed down. (Random aside: my friend who tracks skin release patterns says Yone is on pace to hit 15 skins before his sixth anniversary.) Season after season he keeps getting quality drops. No filler. No throwaway 750 RP reskin collecting dust.

Best Skins for Yone

This is where it gets opinionated. Been playing ranked with most of these and I have strong feelings.

Dawnbringer Yone is the Legendary that set the bar. Full stop. New model, new animations, completely reworked VFX on every ability. His Q thrust gets this radiant golden trail that reads clean in teamfights. The W spirit shield has a celestial glow to it. E soul form turns you into this angelic projection and honestly the snap-back animation when you return is one of the most satisfying things in the game. Voice lines are excellent. The whole divine warrior fantasy lands perfectly. Locked in this skin for maybe 150 games in Diamond last season and the auto-attack animations alone feel smoother than base.

High Noon Yone is the other Legendary and it takes a completely different direction. Western demon aesthetic. His Q sounds like a gunshot crack. W pulls out this spectral revolver shield. The E trail leaves burning footprints. R feels like you're calling down judgment from the sky. Not sure if its just me but High Noon might actually have better sound design than Dawnbringer. The audio team went hard on this one. Played both Legendaries side by side for two weeks in January and High Noon won me over on pure feel.

Spirit Blossom Yone holds a special place. Launch skin, 1350 RP, and it still competes with skins released years later. The ethereal cherry blossom particles on Q and R look gorgeous. The recall animation ties into the Spirit Blossom lore. For an Epic-tier skin this one punches way above. Top pick for Yone mains who want quality without dropping Legendary money.

Prestige HEARTSTEEL Yone is the flex pick. Mythic tier means you either grinded the event or got lucky with Mythic Essence. The gold and white colorway is clean. VFX carry that premium sparkle. Not my personal favorite for gameplay feel but objectively one of the best-looking Yone options in a loading screen.

Peacemaker High Noon Yone deserves a mention too. Mythic variant of the High Noon Legendary with an alternate color scheme. If you already love High Noon and want the rarer version, this is it. Might be overthinking it but the darker palette on Peacemaker actually reads better in certain team comps where you need to stand out from allied VFX.

Skinlines and Themes That Work for Yone

Yone shows up in eight different skinlines. Eight. For a champion released in 2020 that's a lot of thematic range. Spirit Blossom fits him like a glove because his base lore already has that spiritual Japanese mythology angle. The transition from base Yone to Spirit Blossom Yone feels natural. Almost canonical.

Nightbringer and Dawnbringer is where Riot leaned into the duality fantasy. Yone and Yasuo as opposing cosmic forces. Dawnbringer Yone versus Nightbringer Yasuo. Brilliant thematic pairing. The skinline was practically designed for brothers with a complicated history.

High Noon works because Yone's whole deal is being caught between the living and the dead. High Noon's demon-deal aesthetic maps onto that perfectly. HEARTSTEEL was the wild card. Yone in a boy band? Sounds wrong on paper. But Riot committed to the music theme and it actually bangs. (Sidebar for anyone who hasnt seen the HEARTSTEEL music video: Yone's segment goes hard.)

Battle Academia is solid. Anime school fighter Yone makes sense given his design already has that Bleach/anime swordsman energy. Ocean Song is the weakest thematic fit in my opinion. Pool party Yone doesnt capture his character at all. Fun skin, sure. Thematically coherent? Not really. Inkshadow brought him into that ink-brush Chinese art style and it works better than I expected. Masked Justice is the newest line and I think it suits his vigilante energy surprisingly well.

Real talk though. The best skinlines for Yone are the ones that lean into his dual-sword, spirit-warrior identity. Spirit Blossom, Dawnbringer, High Noon. Those three nail it.

Budget vs Premium: Where to Spend on Yone

Here's the thing with Yone's catalog. There is no budget option. Cheapest skin is 1350 RP. Every single skin is Epic or above. So the "budget" conversation is really about which Epic gives you the most value against the two Legendaries at 1820 RP.

Spirit Blossom at 1350 RP is the best value Yone skin. Period. Clean VFX, strong thematic fit, gorgeous particles. If you're climbing ranked and want one Yone skin without spending Legendary money, this is it. Battle Academia is also 1350 and solid but Spirit Blossom edges it out on visual clarity and overall polish.

If you're willing to go premium, Dawnbringer or High Noon at 1820 RP each are both S-tier Legendaries. Spammed both in Diamond games last split and honestly you cant go wrong with either. Dawnbringer for the angelic aesthetic, High Noon for the dark western feel. Pick whichever fantasy speaks to you. The Mythic skins (Prestige HEARTSTEEL and Peacemaker High Noon) are special currency only so you either have them or you don't. Not really a purchase decision.

Quick breakdown: 1350 for Spirit Blossom if you want one skin. 1820 for Dawnbringer or High Noon if you want the full experience. Simple choice really.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many skins does Yone have?

Yone has 11 skins as of 2025. Pretty wild for a champion released in 2020. That includes two Legendaries, two Mythic-tier variants, and seven Epics. No Standard or budget skins exist for him. Minimum you're spending is 1350 RP. Riot clearly knows he sells well and keeps the releases coming at a steady clip. Roughly two per year since launch.

What is the best Yone skin?

Dawnbringer Yone for me. Full Legendary treatment with new VO, animations, and VFX on every ability. The celestial aesthetic is gorgeous and it feels smooth in-game. High Noon is a close second though. Honestly you could flip a coin between those two and be happy. Spirit Blossom is best if youre on a budget at 1350 RP.

What is the cheapest Yone skin?

Every purchasable Yone skin costs 1350 RP minimum. No 975 or 750 options exist. Spirit Blossom, Battle Academia, Ocean Song, Inkshadow, HEARTSTEEL, and Masked Justice are all 1350 Epic tier. T1 Yone is also in that range. Yone just doesn't have a budget option. Riot priced him premium from day one.

Does Yone have a Legendary skin?

Two Legendaries actually. Dawnbringer Yone and High Noon Yone, both at 1820 RP. Each has new voiceover, recall, animations, and completely reworked VFX. Both are top-tier Legendaries in my ranked games. Hard to pick between them. Dawnbringer leans angelic, High Noon goes western demon. Different vibes, both excellent.

What skinlines is Yone in?

Eight skinlines total: Spirit Blossom, Battle Academia, Nightbringer and Dawnbringer, Ocean Song, Inkshadow, HEARTSTEEL, High Noon, and Masked Justice. Thats a lot of thematic variety for five years. Spirit Blossom and High Noon fit his character best in my opinion. Ocean Song is the odd one out but its a fun novelty pick.

Does Yone have chromas?

Several of his Epic skins have chroma sets. Battle Academia, Ocean Song, Inkshadow, and HEARTSTEEL all got chromas when they released. Spirit Blossom has chromas too. Gives you decent color variety if you want to mix things up without buying a whole new skin. Some of the chromas honestly look better than base versions.

When was Yone's last skin released?

Masked Justice Yone dropped in 2025, making it his most recent skin. T1 Yone also came out in the 2024-2025 window as an esports skin. Riot keeps him on a consistent release schedule. Been getting new skins every year since his 2020 launch with no signs of slowing down. Good time to be a Yone main.

Is Yone worth buying skins for?

If you play him regularly then absolutely. His skin catalog is one of the strongest in the game. No filler, no bad entries. Even the "worst" Yone skin is a competent 1350 Epic. The two Legendaries are both S-tier. Been spamming Yone in ranked since season 11 and every skin purchase felt worth it. Only skip if you barely play him.
