Naafiri Skins

Naafiri is one of the newest champions on the Rift and her skin catalog is still tiny. Four skins total. All Epic tier. Might sound limiting but honestly every single one of them brings something different to the table and I think Riot's been smart about which skinlines they dropped her into. Been playing Naafiri since release, locked her in maybe 150 ranked games across seasons 13 and 14, and the skins have ranged from "okay cool" to "wait this actually goes hard." Not gonna lie, for a champion with only four options theres some real variety here.

Naafiri's Skin Collection So Far

Four skins between 2023 and 2025. That's a pretty aggressive release pace for a newer champion. Riot clearly sees potential in her design space because she's already been slotted into four completely different thematic lines. Soul Fighter came first, dropped alongside her release in 2023. Then PROJECT: Naafiri showed up. Glizzy Naafiri landed as part of the Food Fight event. And most recently Warhound Naafiri in 2025.

All four sit at Epic tier. No Legendary, no budget options, no 520 RP throwaway skin from 2012. Every single one is 1350 RP (Warhound's pricing might shift but expect the same). Kinda feels like Riot has a formula for newer champs: stack them with Epics early, save the Legendary for when the playerbase is established enough to justify it. Smart business. Slightly annoying for people who want variety in the price range.

Could be wrong here but I think she'll get a Legendary within the next two years. Her kit is perfect for it. The packmate mechanic, the W dash through targets, the R that sends your dogs out in a cone. There's so much room for a skin team to go wild with new VO and animations on that kit. For now though, four solid Epics is what we're working with.

Worth noting the year spread. 2023 to 2025. Two years, four skins. Compare that to some champions who waited five or six years for skin number two. Naafiri mains are eating well. Relatively speaking.

Best Skins for Naafiri

PROJECT: Naafiri is the best skin in the catalog. Full stop. The cyber-dog aesthetic works perfectly with her kit. Your packmates become these sleek mechanical hounds and the Q daggers have that clean PROJECT particle trail. The recall animation is sick too. Been running this one in Diamond since it dropped and the visual clarity on her W is actually better than base. You can track the dash path more clearly with the neon trail it leaves behind.

Soul Fighter Naafiri sits at number two for me. It was her launch skin and Riot put real effort into making it feel premium. The fighting game aesthetic translates well to her aggressive playstyle. Her E packmate call has this cool energy burst effect. The splash art goes hard. (Random aside: I used the Soul Fighter splash as my Discord avatar for like three months straight.) The color palette is clean, lots of warm golds and whites that contrast nicely against Summoner's Rift.

Glizzy Naafiri is the wildcard pick. Look. Its a meme skin. Your dogs become hot dogs. Your daggers are probably condiment-related. The Food Fight line is inherently goofy and if you're the type of player who locks in Bee'Maw or Pizza Delivery Sivir, this one's for you. Not my personal style in ranked but I've thrown it on in normals and the reactions in all chat are worth it alone. Played maybe 30 games with it last month and someone comments on it every single time.

Warhound Naafiri rounds out the collection. The militaristic angle fits a pack hunter champion naturally. Darker color scheme, more aggressive silhouette on the packmates. Think it might be the most thematically appropriate skin she has even if it doesnt have the flashiest particles. The skinline is newer so hard to say how it'll age but first impressions are solid.

Honestly ranking these is tough because none of them are bad. That's the advantage of a small catalog with no filler skins from 2011. Every option was designed with modern standards.

Skinlines and Thematic Fit

Four skinlines and they're all wildly different. Soul Fighter, PROJECT, Food Fight, Warhounds. The range is actually impressive for a champion who's been out less than three years.

PROJECT fits Naafiri the best in my opinion. The tech-enhanced predator angle plays directly into her fantasy as this Darkin packleader. Cyber wolves hunting through neon cityscapes. It writes itself. The skinline has always excelled with aggressive champions and Naafiri slots right in next to PROJECT: Pyke and PROJECT: Renekton.

Soul Fighter was a smart launch choice. The fighting game theme gave Riot room to make her debut skin feel distinct from base without going too far from her core identity. Not sure if it's just me but the Soul Fighter line in general has been one of Riot's better recent additions. The tournament bracket aesthetic, the versus screen recalls. Good stuff across the board.

Food Fight with Glizzy is pure comedy. Hot dog dogs. That's the pitch. That's the whole thing. And it works because Naafiri's kit is inherently about summoning little creatures that follow you around. Making those creatures food items is exactly the kind of League humor that's been around since Urf. Been seeing more of these joke skins in my games lately, probably season 14 or early 15, and they always get a reaction.

Warhounds feels like Riot leaning into the literal interpretation of her character. War dogs. Military pack. It's straightforward but sometimes straightforward is exactly what works. Real talk though, I wish they'd try something more unexpected with her next. Give me Star Guardian Naafiri. Pool Party Naafiri with little beach dogs. Something that really pushes the thematic boundaries.

Budget vs Premium Options

This section is short because there's no budget option. Every Naafiri skin is 1350 RP. No 520, no 750, no 975. You're paying Epic price no matter what you pick. Might be overthinking it but this is actually a problem for newer players or people who want to try a skin without committing fourteen bucks worth of RP.

If I had to pick the best value at 1350 it's PROJECT: Naafiri. The particle changes on Q and W feel the most distinct from base, the model is clean, and the thematic cohesion is tight. You're getting your money's worth.

For the cheapest way to customize Naafiri you're looking at chromas if any of her skins have them. Otherwise 1350 is the floor and ceiling. No Legendary exists yet so at least you're not staring at an 1820 price tag wondering if its worth the premium. Every option is the same investment. Pick the theme you like most and lock it in.

(Sidebar for Naafiri mains specifically: if you're one-tricking her in ranked, grab two skins minimum. Rotating between PROJECT and Soul Fighter keeps things fresh across a long climbing session. Played like 23 games in a row one weekend with just one skin and by game 15 I was itching to switch.)

The lack of a Legendary is the real gap. Her kit would benefit massively from new voice lines. Base Naafiri's VO is solid but imagine a full Legendary treatment with unique interactions for every champion, new packmate barks, and evolved ability sounds. Whenever Riot gets around to it, that'll probably become the instant best-in-slot skin. Until then, 1350 RP across the board. Fair price for what you get.
