Ivern

Ivern Skins

5 skins available

Ivern's skin catalog is one of those situations where quantity doesn't matter because every single option they've put out hits different. Five skins total. That's it. Been playing Ivern on and off since season 7 and honestly the small roster means each skin feels intentional rather than filler. Not gonna lie, most support junglers get ignored by Riot's skin team for years at a time, and Ivern was no exception early on. But the skins he does have? Quality over quantity every time.

How Ivern's Skin Collection Grew Over the Years

Five skins spanning from 2016 to 2025. Thats almost a decade of content for the tree man. Slow drip. Ivern launched October 2016 and got Candy King basically at release, then had to wait years for anything else. The drought was real.

Four Epics at 1350 RP and one Standard tier skin in Spirit Blossom. No Legendary, no Ultimate, no Prestige. Riot clearly sees Ivern as a niche pick and the sales numbers probably reflect that. But here's the thing - every Epic they've made for him genuinely transforms the champion. Not just recolors or minor texture swaps. Full model changes, new particles, altered Daisy models. For a champion with a unique companion mechanic, that companion redesign alone justifies the 1350 price tag each time.

The year spread tells a story too. Candy King in 2016, then Dunkmaster came along later, Old God after that, Astronaut following up, and Spirit Blossom closing things out in 2025. Could be wrong here but I think Riot spaces Ivern skins out because they know the playerbase is small but dedicated. One-tricks will buy anything you put out for their champion, so why rush?

In my Diamond games I see maybe one other Ivern per month. Sometimes less. The ones I do see almost always have a skin equipped though. Mains take care of their champion's cosmetics even when the roster is thin. Season 13 I played against an Ivern one-trick who rotated between all his skins game to game. Respect.

Best Skins for Ivern

Old God Ivern takes the crown for me. Full stop. The Coven-adjacent aesthetic transforms the friendly tree spirit into something genuinely unsettling. Daisy becomes this corrupted stone golem and the Q root particles have that dark energy vibe that reads so cleanly on the Rift. Been running this one in ranked since it dropped and the visual clarity on E shield is surprisingly good despite the darker color palette. The recall animation where he grows those twisted branches? Chef's kiss.

Dunkmaster Ivern sits at number two and its not even close to what you'd expect from the Dunkmaster line. Where Darius got the obvious basketball fantasy, Ivern's version leans into the lanky coach energy. Daisy in a jersey. The brushmaker (W) drops a basketball court texture. Honestly not gonna lie, I thought this skin was a meme when it leaked but after 50+ games with it the animations grew on me hard. The Q connects with a basketball and the sound design carries it.

Candy King Ivern deserves respect as the OG. Released alongside the champion basically. The candy theme transforms his passive circles into cookie designs, Daisy becomes this gingerbread golem, and the overall color palette is bright enough to tilt your opponents. Played this one exclusively through season 8 and early season 9 before alternatives existed. Still holds up surprisingly well for a 2016 skin.

Astronaut Ivern rounds out the top picks. Space Daisy alone sells this one. The helmet on the big golem, the zero-gravity feel on the W brush pods floating like space stations. Kinda feels like this skin was designed for the Daisy enjoyers specifically. The Q tether becomes a beam of light and the shield particles on E have that holographic shimmer. Good skin. Not the best in line but solid for spamming in ranked.

Spirit Blossom Ivern is the newest addition, 2025 release. Standard tier which means fewer bells and whistles than the Epics but the thematic fit is strong. The Spirit Blossom universe suits Ivern's nature spirit fantasy perfectly (random aside: been waiting for this skinline to touch Ivern since Spirit Blossom first launched years ago). Limited particle work compared to the 1350 options but the model itself carries.

Skinlines and Themes That Fit the Tree Man

Five skinlines represented: Sugar Rush, Dunkmaster, Coven adjacent with Old God, Astronauts, and Spirit Blossom. The spread is honestly impressive for a champion with only five skins. No repeated themes, no lazy sequels.

Coven/Old God fits Ivern the best thematically and I will die on this hill. The corrupted nature spirit angle writes itself. Ivern's whole identity is the friendly forest guardian, so flipping that into something dark and ancient feels earned. The Old God line specifically deals with primordial entities and that slots perfectly into what Ivern could have been if he never found his chill.

Spirit Blossom is the other natural fit. Literally a spirit realm skinline for a champion who is basically a tree spirit already. The Ionian aesthetic, the ethereal particles, the connection to nature and the afterlife. Makes sense on paper and in game. Might be overthinking it but I think this should have happened way earlier than 2025.

Dunkmaster and Astronaut are the wildcard picks. They work because of the contrast - Ivern's gentle personality clashing with competitive sports or space exploration creates humor. Not every skin needs to be thematically deep. Sometimes you want your tree dude coaching basketball in the jungle. (Sidebar for Ivern mains specifically: the Dunkmaster Daisy slam dunk on her knockup is worth 1350 alone and you know it.)

Sugar Rush with Candy King was the original comedic direction. Wholesome. Sweet. On brand for a champion who literally doesnt kill jungle camps. The candy aesthetic matched his personality before Riot got creative with darker alternatives.

Budget vs Premium: What's Worth Your RP

Here's where Ivern gets interesting. Four of his five skins cost 1350 RP. Same price point across the board. No Legendary to stress over, no budget 520 option to cheap out with. Spirit Blossom sits at Standard tier with special pricing but the core choice is really "which 1350 skin speaks to you."

Best value? Old God Ivern at 1350. The amount of transformation you get for that price is honestly above what most Epic skins deliver. New model, fully redone Daisy, new particles on every ability, altered sound design, quality recall. 1350 feels fair for what you get here. Maybe even underpriced compared to some lazy Epics other champions received around the same time.

If you're climbing on Ivern and want one skin only, Old God. If you want variety and can grab two, add Dunkmaster for the comedy games where you're feeling confident. Real talk though - at 1350 each you could grab all four Epics over time without breaking the bank. That's the advantage of maining a champion with a small skin pool. No 1820 tax to worry about, no mythic essence grind. Just pick your flavor and lock in.

Spirit Blossom works if you want something lighter on effects. Less visual noise in teamfights. Some players prefer cleaner reads on their abilities especially in late-game 5v5s where particle soup gets overwhelming. Been there. Had games where I switched back to simpler skins because the VFX were cluttering my screen during ganking paths through river.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many skins does Ivern have?

Five total. Candy King, Dunkmaster, Old God, Astronaut, and Spirit Blossom. Small roster but every single one transforms the champion meaningfully. No filler picks in the bunch. Been playing him since season 7 and honestly each release felt worth the wait even with the gaps between them.

What is the best Ivern skin?

Old God Ivern. Not close in my opinion. The dark corrupted nature aesthetic, the redesigned Daisy as a stone golem, the particle work on Q and E. Feels like a completely different champion. Spammed this in ranked for two splits straight and never got tired of it.

What is the cheapest Ivern skin?

Spirit Blossom Ivern at Standard tier with special pricing. The four Epic skins all sit at 1350 RP each. No budget 520 or 750 option exists for Ivern which kinda makes sense given how few skins he has. Riot goes quality over quantity with this champion's cosmetics.

Does Ivern have a Legendary skin?

Nope. No Legendary, no Ultimate, no Prestige. All Epics and one Standard. Might be a long wait for that 1820 tier given his low play rate but honestly the Epics deliver enough that I dont feel robbed. Old God specifically punches above its weight class for 1350.

What skinlines is Ivern in?

Sugar Rush, Dunkmaster, Coven/Old God, Astronauts, and Spirit Blossom. Five different universes, zero repeats. Good variety for such a small pool. The Old God and Spirit Blossom lines fit his nature spirit fantasy best while Dunkmaster goes full comedy. Something for every mood.

Does Ivern have chromas?

Some of his Epic skins got chroma sets yeah. Gives you extra color options if the base palette doesnt click. Not gonna lie I usually stick with default chroma on Old God because the base colors are already perfect but Dunkmaster benefits from a jersey swap vibe with chromas.

When was Ivern's last skin released?

Spirit Blossom Ivern dropped in 2025. Most recent addition to the collection. Before that there was a multi-year gap which is pretty standard for low play rate champions. Mains were starving. At least Riot eventually delivered something that fits his aesthetic perfectly.

Is Ivern worth buying skins for?

If you main him or even play him regularly in ranked, absolutely. The Epic skins transform Daisy completely which is half the champion's visual identity. You spend entire games looking at that golem so upgrading her model matters more than on most champions. One skin minimum if you're climbing with the tree man.
