Candy King Ivern deserves respect as the OG. Released alongside the champion basically. The candy theme transforms his passive circles into cookie designs, Daisy becomes this gingerbread golem, and the overall color palette is bright enough to tilt your opponents. Played this one exclusively through season 8 and early season 9 before alternatives existed. Still holds up surprisingly well for a 2016 skin.

Astronaut Ivern rounds out the top picks. Space Daisy alone sells this one. The helmet on the big golem, the zero-gravity feel on the W brush pods floating like space stations. Five skinlines represented: Sugar Rush, Dunkmaster, Coven adjacent with Old God, Astronauts, and Spirit Blossom. The spread is honestly impressive for a champion with only five skins. No repeated themes, no lazy sequels.

Coven/Old God fits Ivern the best thematically and I will die on this hill. The corrupted nature spirit angle writes itself. Ivern's whole identity is the friendly forest guardian, so flipping that into something dark and ancient feels earned. The Old God line specifically deals with primordial entities and that slots perfectly into what Ivern could have been if he never found his chill.

Spirit Blossom is the other natural fit. Literally a spirit realm skinline for a champion who is basically a tree spirit already. The Ionian aesthetic, the ethereal particles, the connection to nature and the afterlife. Makes sense on paper and in game. Might be overthinking it but I think this should have happened way earlier than 2025.

Dunkmaster and Astronaut are the wildcard picks. They work because of the contrast - Ivern's gentle personality clashing with competitive sports or space exploration creates humor. Not every skin needs to be thematically deep. Sometimes you want your tree dude coaching basketball in the jungle. If you're climbing on Ivern and want one skin only, Old God. If you want variety and can grab two, add Dunkmaster for the comedy games where you're feeling confident.
