Season 2026 Act 2’s Valorant Night Market went live on March 26 and it’s still running. You’ve got until April 16 to flip your six cards and see what Riot randomly picked for you. Discounts land between 10% and 49%, everything is account-specific, and there’s no way to reroll. Riot also expanded the skin pool this round, adding Nanomight and a few other collections that finally aged past the two-Act lockout.
Didn’t catch the February market? There’s still a bit of time left on this one. I went through how the whole system actually works under the hood, what skins can and can’t drop, the full 2026 schedule, and a few tricks I haven’t seen other articles cover.

This video breaks down the Night Market mechanics and shows actual card reveals from recent events.
Current Night Market Dates (Season 2026, Act 2)
Riot posted it on X: the Valorant Night Market this time runs March 26 through April 16, 2026. So yeah, about three weeks.
If you’re on EU servers, heads up. Depending on your specific server, the market could technically close on April 17. Riot staggers their patches by region, so the safest move is to just look at the in-game countdown timer.
| Night Market | Start Date | End Date | Season / Act |
|---|---|---|---|
| Current | March 26, 2026 | April 16, 2026 | Season 2026, Act 2 |
| Previous | February 5, 2026 | March 2, 2026 | Season 2026, Act 1 |
| Next (estimated) | Late May / Early June 2026 | TBD | Season 2026, Act 3 |
Going by the last few Acts, Act 3’s market will probably show up late May or early June. Riot tends to tweet about it maybe a week in advance, or post on the official Valorant site. Until then, no one knows the exact date, not even leakers have been reliable on this one.
Regional End Times (April 16, 2026)
Server maintenance doesn’t hit everyone at the same time with Riot. NA goes first, then EU, then APAC. So the actual closing hour of the Night Market is a bit different depending on where you play. Here’s what I’ve seen from previous markets:
| Region | Estimated Close Time |
|---|---|
| NA (US West) | April 16, ~5 PM PT |
| NA (US East) | April 16, ~8 PM ET |
| EU (Western Europe) | April 17, ~1 AM GMT |
| EU (Central Europe) | April 17, ~2 AM CET |
| Asia Pacific | April 17, ~9 AM KST |
Give yourself a buffer. Buy a day early if you want something. PS5 and Xbox players run on the same schedule as PC for their region. No separate console timeline.
How the Valorant Night Market Actually Works
A tarot card icon pops up near the top right of the main menu when the market goes live. Click it. You get six cards, all face-down. The reveal is one card at a time, and each flip shows a skin plus its discounted VP price. If you’ve ever opened a pack in any card game, same energy. Except here there’s no trading and no mulligan.
Once you’ve flipped all six, that’s your lineup for the whole event. No swapping, no second chances. Riot locked that door back in 2020 when they first launched Night Market and the community has been begging for a reroll ever since. Still nothing.
There is some built-in protection though. Riot added a “bad luck floor” in patch v2.02: at least two of your six cards will be either a knife or a Premium Edition gun skin. You also won’t get more than two skins for the same weapon type. Three Sheriff skins in one market? Can’t happen.
Already own a skin? It won’t show up. This means veteran players with big collections have better odds of seeing something interesting, because the pool shrinks to stuff they don’t already have.
Which Skins Show Up in the Night Market?
Riot is pretty strict about what makes it into the Valorant Night Market pool.
Skins that CAN appear
- Select Edition gun skins (875 VP base price)
- Deluxe Edition gun skins (1,275 VP base price)
- Premium Edition gun skins (1,775 VP base price)
- Most knife skins tied to these tiers (if priced under 4,350 VP)
Skins that will NEVER appear
- Exclusive Edition (Elderflame, Protocol 781-A, stuff like that)
- Ultra Edition (Champions skins)
- Anything from a Battle Pass, ever
- Agent Gear skins (the ones from contracts)
- Melee skins at 4,350 VP or above
- Anything released in the last two Acts
That two-Act rule catches people off guard every time. After the Act 1 market, Reddit was full of posts asking why Nanomight didn’t show up. Too new. Now in Act 2 it’s in the pool. When Act 3 rolls around, Reaver (V26), Solarstride, and SilkLeaf become eligible too.

The skins most people are hoping for
Over 70 collections sit in the current pool. Most of them are whatever, but these are the ones that make people lose their minds at 40%+ off: Oni, Prime, Prime//2.0, Reaver (both EP 1 and EP 5 versions), Ion, Forsaken, Gaia’s Vengeance, Magepunk, Sovereign, Celestial, Crimsonbeast, Glitchpop (EP 1).
I got a Reaver Vandal at 43% off during the December 2025 market. Honestly felt like hitting a mini jackpot. That kind of pull is what keeps people coming back every Act.
Full Eligible Skin List (Season 2026, Act 2)
Every collection in the pool right now, sorted by tier. New additions marked in bold.
Select Edition (875 VP base): Convex, Daydreams, Endeavour, Fortune’s Hand, Galleria, Infantry, Intergrade, Luxe, Prism II, Reverie, Rupture, Rush, Sensation, Smite, Storm Maw, Switchback, Wonderstallion.
Deluxe Edition (1,275 VP base): Abyssal, Altitude, Aperture, Aristocrat, Avalanche, Chromedek, Combat Crafts, Emberclad, Holomoku, Horizon, Kohaku & Matsuba, Luna, Minima, MK.VII Liberty, Nanomight (new), NO LIMITS, Nunca Olvidados, Orion, Prism, Sakura, Sarmad, Silvanus, Snowfall, Team Ace, Tigris, Titanmail, VALORANT GO! Vol. 3, Wasteland, Winterwunderland.
Premium Edition (1,775 VP base): Aemondir, Black.Market, Bolt, Celestial, Crimsonbeast, Cryostasis, Doodle Buds, Ego, Forsaken, Gaia’s Vengeance, Gravitational Uranium Neuroblaster, Helix, Ion, Magepunk, Nebula, Neptune, Oni, Origin, Prime, Prime//2.0, Radiant Crisis 001, Reaver (EP 1), Reaver (EP 5), Recon, Soulstrife, Sovereign, Spline, Tethered Realms, Undercity, Valiant Hero, VALORANT Go! Vol. 1, VALORANT Go! Vol. 2, Xenohunter, XERØFANG.
Temporarily added (unclear if returning): BlastX, Glitchpop (EP 1), Singularity (EP 1) appeared during V25 Act 3 only. Melee skins from these sets were still excluded. Looked like a one-off experiment from Riot’s side.
Coming in Act 3: Reaver (V26), Solarstride, SilkLeaf.
I know, massive wall of text. But scrolling through this before the next Valorant Night Market opens beats the feeling of wondering why your dream skin didn’t show up. If it’s not on this list, it’s either Exclusive/Ultra or Riot released it too recently.
Night Market Skin Tiers and Pricing
Knowing base prices helps figure out whether a discount is actually worth it. 15% off a Select skin? That saves like 130 VP. Barely worth thinking about. 45% off a Premium skin? Close to 800 VP saved. Now we’re talking.
| Skin Tier | Base Price (VP) | Best Case (49% off) | Worst Case (10% off) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Select | 875 VP | ~446 VP | ~788 VP |
| Deluxe | 1,275 VP | ~650 VP | ~1,148 VP |
| Premium (Gun) | 1,775 VP | ~905 VP | ~1,598 VP |
| Premium (Melee) | 3,550 VP | ~1,810 VP | ~3,195 VP |
My personal rule: 35%+ on a Premium skin is an instant buy. You won’t find that price anywhere else. A Deluxe at 20% off? I’d pass. Not enough savings to justify the VP.
What does that look like in real money?
Let me put numbers on it. Most players in NA pay about $10 for 1,000 VP. So when you see a Premium gun skin sitting at 1,775 VP, that’s roughly $17.75 out of your pocket. Now hit that with a 49% Night Market discount and suddenly you’re paying about $9 for the same thing. That’s real money saved, not just VP math. Get two or three solid pulls in one Valorant Night Market and you’ve kept $20-25 in your wallet. Do that across a whole year of markets and you start to notice it.
How to Open Your Night Market Cards
Dead simple, but worth covering since people still ask:
- Launch Valorant. Home screen.
- Top-right corner, near the Store tab. Card icon only shows up when the market is live.
- Click it. Six face-down cards.
- Click each card. Skin reveal plus discounted price.
- See something you want? Hit Purchase.
Cards stay flipped for the whole event. No rush. Come back tomorrow, come back in two weeks. The offers sit there until the market closes.
Can you refund a Night Market purchase?
Technically, yes. Buy a skin, don’t use it in any match or even the Practice Range, then file a support ticket with Riot for a refund. The second you equip it and load into a game though, that window closes. So here’s the move: buy the skin, sit on it for a day, decide if you actually want it. Most guides don’t mention this and it’s a genuinely useful trick.
Night Market Tips That Actually Matter
Can’t control what shows up in your cards. RNG is RNG. But you can be smarter about spending. I’ve been opening these since Episode 2 and a few patterns have become clear.
Hold your VP. Sounds obvious, right? But so many players dump points on the daily store rotation and then the Valorant Night Market drops with a 45% off Oni Phantom staring them in the face. Zero VP left. If an Act is winding down and a market is probably coming, stop buying from the daily store.
A bad discount on a skin you don’t use is still a waste. I see this constantly. Someone gets hyped about a 49% off deal on some random Frenzy skin and buys it because “look at the discount.” Brother, when was the last time you actually bought a Frenzy in a real game? Only spend on weapons you pick up regularly. Vandal, Phantom, Op, knife. Maybe a Spectre if you force-buy a lot.
Flip all six before you spend anything. Card three might look great. Card six might be better. Look at everything first.
Check card borders before flipping. Gold borders hint at higher-tier skins. Mostly grey? Brace yourself.
Ignore the day-one FOMO. Every single Valorant Night Market follows the same Reddit pattern. Day one: “I GOT REAVER VANDAL 47% OFF LET’S GOOO.” Day three: “Worst market of my life, Riot please add reroll.” The FOMO is real but you have three weeks. Sleep on it.
Every Night Market Date Since 2023
Riot has run a Night Market in every single Act going back to December 2020. That’s over 32 of them at this point. I tracked down the dates for everything from Episode 7 onward:

| Dates | Season / Act |
|---|---|
| Mar 26 – Apr 16, 2026 | Season 2026, Act 2 (Current) |
| Feb 5 – Mar 2, 2026 | Season 2026, Act 1 |
| Dec 11, 2025 – Jan 6, 2026 | Season 2025, Act 6 |
| Sep 25 – Oct 9, 2025 | Season 2025, Act 5 |
| Jul 10 – Jul 24, 2025 | Season 2025, Act 4 |
| Jun 5 – Jun 24, 2025 | Season 2025, Act 3 |
| Apr 9 – Apr 29, 2025 | Season 2025, Act 2 |
| Feb 13 – Mar 4, 2025 | Season 2025, Act 1 |
| Dec 16, 2024 – Jan 7, 2025 | Episode 9, Act 3 |
| Sep 26 – Oct 22, 2024 | Episode 9, Act 2 |
| Aug 15 – Aug 28, 2024 | Episode 9, Act 1 |
| May 22 – Jun 12, 2024 | Episode 8, Act 3 |
| Mar 13 – Apr 2, 2024 | Episode 8, Act 2 |
| Jan 10 – Jan 30, 2024 | Episode 8, Act 1 |
| Oct 25 – Nov 14, 2023 | Episode 7, Act 3 |
| Aug 9 – Aug 29, 2023 | Episode 7, Act 2 |
| May 24 – Jun 13, 2023 | Episode 7, Act 1 |
One thing that’s obvious from the table: Riot has no fixed length for these. Ep 9 Act 1 was open for barely 13 days, which is kind of brutal if you were on vacation or something. The very next one, Ep 9 Act 2, ran close to four weeks. Lately they’ve been trending longer, which I appreciate because it means I can actually think about my purchases instead of panic-buying on day two.
New Skins Added This Act
Riot rotates new collections into the Valorant Night Market pool once they clear the two-Act waiting period. This round: Nanomight (Deluxe), plus Combat Crafts, Aperture, and Wonderstallion from earlier in the season.
Act 3 will bring Reaver (V26), Solarstride, and SilkLeaf. Holding out for one of those? You gotta wait. They’re not in the pool yet.
Hidden Teasers in Night Market Banners
Riot does this thing where they slip hints about upcoming content into Night Market promotional images. These banners have teased agents like Tejo, Vyse, Iso, Deadlock, Harbor, and Neon before their official announcements. Maps like Sunset, Abyss, Pearl, and Lotus also got sneaky previews through the art.
When the next banner goes up, zoom in. The community on Reddit and X tears these things apart within hours.
Night Market vs. League’s “Your Shop”
Play both games? This’ll feel familiar. Riot took the “Your Shop” concept from League of Legends and brought it into Valorant. Random skin picks, personalized to your account, limited window, no rerolls. Same DNA.
Big difference though: Valorant’s ranked ladder and cosmetics are completely detached from each other. Skins do nothing for gameplay. Still, if you’ve ever blown 8,000 RP on League skins in a Your Shop (guilty), the Valorant Night Market hits the same impulse. Watch your wallet.
Buy Now or Wait for the Next One?
Six cards full of Select tier garbage at 12% off for weapons you never buy? Skip it. Another Valorant Night Market rolls around in two months.
But a Premium skin you’ve been eyeing at 35%+ off? Grab that immediately. There’s no guarantee it appears in your next market. Or the one after that. I’ve been waiting for an Oni Phantom since Season 2025 Act 4. Four markets later, still nothing. RNG doesn’t care about your feelings.
Night Market is still the single best deal Riot puts out for skin collectors. Just don’t treat every card like a must-buy. Be picky and your VP stretches way further.
Console Players (PS5 and Xbox)
Same event, same timing, same everything. Since Valorant went cross-platform, console Night Markets have run alongside PC on identical dates. Six cards, same discounts, same skin pool.
Only difference: VP purchases go through PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store instead of the Riot client. Regional pricing might shift a bit depending on your console store, but the in-game experience? Identical to PC.
Night Market Myths That Won’t Die
If you sort r/VALORANT by “night market” after any market opens, the same wrong takes flood in like clockwork. These four in particular show up every Act without fail:
“If I play more, I’ll get better skins.” Nope. Your six skins get randomly rolled when the event goes live. Play time, rank, spending history, none of it factors in. Riot has said this more than once. People still swear by it though.
“Elderflame can appear in the Night Market.” It can’t. That’s Exclusive tier. Ultra and Exclusive skins are permanently excluded from the pool. Only time Riot bent this rule was V25 Act 3, when they temporarily added BlastX, Glitchpop (EP 1), and Singularity (EP 1). Hasn’t happened again since.
“Night Market only happens twice a year.” Sort of true under the old Episode format (3 Acts per Episode, 6 months each). But Riot switched to Seasons in 2025 with 6 Acts per year. That means roughly 6 Night Markets annually. Way more chances at a good pull than people think.
“Just wait for them to add rerolls.” This has been a community request since 2021. Five years later, Riot still hasn’t touched it. At this point I’m convinced they see the lack of rerolls as a feature, not a bug. Got a terrible market? Only real option is to forget about it and come back next Act.

Frequently Asked Questions
When is the next Valorant Night Market in 2026?
You can open yours right now. This market kicked off March 26 and runs through April 16 (Season 2026, Act 2). The one after this should show up toward the tail end of Act 3, so probably late May or early June if Riot sticks to the pattern.
Can you reroll your skin offers?
No. Your six cards are locked the moment you reveal them. Can’t swap, can’t refresh. Bad pulls? Only option is waiting for the next market in about two months.
What skins are eligible?
Select, Deluxe, and Premium tier gun skins. Plus most knives under 4,350 VP. Everything else (Exclusive, Ultra, Battle Pass, Agent Gear, recently released collections) is excluded.
How big can the discount get?
Up to 49% off. Each skin gets a random discount between 10% and 49%. A Premium gun skin at max discount saves around 870 VP, roughly $8-9 in real money.
How often does the market show up?
Once per Act. Riot moved to the Season format in 2025 with 6 Acts per year. That means roughly 6 Night Markets annually, usually in the last 2-3 weeks of each Act.
Does everybody get the same skins?
No. Every account gets a completely different set of six skins with different discount percentages. Your friend’s market will look nothing like yours.
