Quinn Skins

6 skins available

Quinn is one of those champions where the skin catalog tells you exactly how Riot feels about her. Six skins across nine years. Not exactly the golden child treatment. Been playing Quinn on and off since season 4, mostly as a top lane counterpick into melee matchups where Valor just ruins their day. Her kit is weird, her identity has shifted like three times, and her skin collection reflects that uncertainty. But there's some genuinely solid options in here if you know where to look. Small roster, sure. Doesn't mean it's all filler.

Quinn's Skin Collection: Six and Counting

Six skins total spanning from 2013 to 2022. Thats nearly a decade of content and you can count every release on one hand with a finger left over. Four Standard tier skins and two Epics. No Legendary, no Ultimate, no Mythic. Quinn mains have been asking for a Legendary with new Valor VO for years and Riot keeps pretending they dont hear it.

Phoenix Quinn dropped alongside her champion release back in 2013. Classic launch skin energy. Then Woad Scout Quinn came the same year, followed by Corsair Quinn in 2015 during the Bilgewater event. Heartseeker Quinn landed in 2016 for Valentine's. After that? Radio silence until Warden Quinn in 2019 and Star Guardian Quinn closing things out in 2022.

The gaps between skins tell the story. Three skins in the first two years, then a three-year drought before Warden. Another three years before Star Guardian. Could be wrong here but I think Quinn just doesn't sell enough to justify frequent releases. Her playrate hovers around 2% on a good patch, mostly top lane specialists and the occasional mid Quinn one-trick who terrifies everyone in champ select.

No Legendary means no new voice lines on any skin. Valor gets the same screeches across the board. Bit of a shame because Quinn's base VO is showing its age. Season 3 dialogue. You can feel it. The two Epics at least bring new particles and recalls, which helps, but the Standard skins are basically model swaps with maybe a texture upgrade. Still, for a champion with only six options, the hit rate is surprisingly decent. Maybe three or four genuinely good skins out of six. Not bad odds.

Best Quinn Skins Worth Your RP

Warden Quinn is the pick. Full stop. Released in 2019 at 1350 RP, it turns Quinn into this armored sentinel with bronze and dark steel plating. Valor looks like an actual war bird instead of a blue pigeon. The Q - Blinding Assault particles have this metallic sheen, and her W - Heightened Senses reveal pulse feels more impactful with the darker color palette. Played maybe 60 games with Warden last season in Diamond and the auto attack animations feel slightly different. Might be placebo. Probably is. But the skin reads clean in lane and thats what matters when you're trying to cs while tracking the enemy jungler.

Star Guardian Quinn sits right behind it. The 2022 Star Guardian event was massive and Quinn getting included felt like Riot finally remembering she exists. 1350 RP, full particle overhaul, new recall with Valor in star form. The E - Vault animation pops with star trails behind you. Honestly not gonna lie, the pink and blue color scheme shouldn't work on Quinn but it does. Valor as a cosmic familiar instead of a regular bird sells the fantasy. (Random aside: my duo partner who plays Lux got so jealous when this dropped because Quinn's Star Guardian splash is arguably better than half the lineup.)

Phoenix Quinn deserves respect as the OG launch skin. 975 RP from 2013, part of the Silver Age line. Valor gets flame-colored plumage, Quinn gets a red and gold outfit. No new particles since it's Standard tier, but the model work holds up better than you'd expect for a 2013 skin. Been running this one in normals lately just for the nostalgia factor. Back in season 4 or 5 I think, this was THE Quinn skin before anything else existed.

Woad Scout Quinn rounds out the strong picks. Same 975 RP price point, Celtic warrior aesthetic from the Woad skinline. Blue war paint, tribal armor, Valor with blue-tipped feathers. Fits Quinn's ranger identity better than most skins honestly. She's supposed to be a scout from Demacia and the Woad theme leans into that harder than base Quinn does. The splash art is one of her best too.

Corsair Quinn at 750 RP is the budget entry. Bilgewater pirate theme from the 2015 event. Simple model swap, Valor gets a little bandana or something. Not much to write home about but for 750 RP you're not expecting miracles. Seen maybe two of these in my games all season. It exists.

Skinlines and How Quinn Fits

Quinn touches six different skinlines and none of them twice. No repeat appearances in any thematic universe. She's the definition of a one-and-done champion when it comes to skin themes. Star Guardian Season 4, Warden, Woad, Bilgewater Burning Tides, Heartbreakers, and Silver Age.

The Warden line fits her the hardest. Quinn is a Demacian ranger in lore, military background, serves the crown. Warden's whole deal is armored protectors of order. Natural fit. Kinda feels like Riot designed the skin specifically for her champion fantasy rather than forcing her into a theme. Compare that to Heartseeker Quinn which is the Valentine's Day skinline. Quinn in a pink outfit with heart-shaped crossbow bolts. It's fine I guess? The thematic whiplash from "elite Demacian scout" to "cupid cosplay" is real though.

Star Guardian works better than expected. The magical girl transformation suits champions who have a companion, and Valor translates perfectly into the star familiar role. Lulu has Pix, Syndra has her spheres, Quinn has Valor. The 2022 Star Guardian wave was huge and Quinn fit right in. (Sidebar for Quinn mains specifically: Star Guardian is probably the closest we'll get to a Legendary-quality skin at Epic pricing because Riot went hard on the VFX for that whole event batch.)

The Woad line is underrated across the board. Not just for Quinn but for every champion in it. Celtic/tribal warrior themes with muted blue and brown tones. Woad Scout Quinn, Woad King Darius, that whole lineup has a grounded aesthetic that ages well. No flashy particles to become outdated because there aren't any new particles to begin with. Smart design choice honestly, even if its accidental.

Real talk though, Quinn needs a dark or edgy skinline appearance. Something like Coven or Bewitching. A witch hunter Quinn with an owl Valor? Come on Riot. The concepts write themselves. Six skinlines and nothing truly dark or menacing in the bunch.

Budget vs Premium: Where to Spend on Quinn

Quinn's price range runs 750 to 1350 RP. No Legendary means your maximum spend is reasonable. Two Epics at 1350 and four Standards at 975 or below. Tight budget.

Best value pick is Phoenix Quinn at 975 RP. Launch skin, decent model, recognizable silhouette. Does the job without breaking the bank. If you're climbing ranked and just want something that isn't base Quinn, Phoenix gets you there for under a thousand RP.

The two Epics are where the real quality lives though. Warden and Star Guardian both justify 1350 RP with full particle changes and new recalls. Not sure if it's just me but Warden feels like a 1350 RP skin that could pass for more given how clean the model is. Star Guardian has the flashier VFX if you prefer that. Between the two it comes down to aesthetic preference. Dark armored sentinel or magical girl scout. Pick your fighter.

Corsair at 750 is the absolute floor. You get a model swap. Thats it. For 750 RP it's whatever, but honestly saving the extra 225 for Phoenix or Woad Scout gets you meaningfully more skin. The jump from 750 to 975 tier is bigger than the price difference suggests.

Skip Heartseeker unless you really love the Valentine's aesthetic. At 975 RP it's the same price as Phoenix and Woad Scout but less thematically coherent for Quinn. Could be coping but I think the pink hearts clash with her kit animations. An eagle diving at your face with heart particles just looks strange in a teamfight. Maybe thats the point. Distraction value in lane. Psychological warfare.

Since there's no Legendary option, Quinn mains save money by default. Your ceiling is 1350. No 1820 or 3250 decision to agonize over. Silver lining to the neglect I guess. Been maining Quinn with Warden since 2019 and never felt the urge to spend more because the option literally doesnt exist.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many skins does Quinn have?

Six skins total as of 2022. Four Standard tier and two Epic. Pretty small catalog for a champion released in 2013. She averages roughly one skin every year and a half which is below the roster average. Not great, not the worst either. Yorick had it rougher for longer.

What is the best Quinn skin?

Warden Quinn. Hands down. The armored aesthetic fits her Demacian identity perfectly, particles are clean, and the model holds up in ranked. Star Guardian is a close second if you want something flashier. Played both extensively in Diamond and Warden just feels right on the Rift.

What is the cheapest Quinn skin?

Corsair Quinn at 750 RP. Bilgewater pirate theme, basic model swap, no new particles. Gets the job done if you want anything besides default but dont expect fireworks. Honestly the 975 RP skins are a better deal for just a bit more.

Does Quinn have a Legendary skin?

Nope. No Legendary, no Ultimate, no Mythic. Her highest tier is Epic at 1350 RP with Warden and Star Guardian. Quinn mains been requesting a Legendary with new Valor voice lines for years. Still waiting. Maybe someday Riot will deliver but I'm not holding my breath.

What skinlines is Quinn in?

Six different skinlines: Silver Age, Woad, Bilgewater Burning Tides, Heartbreakers, Warden, and Star Guardian Season 4. Never appeared in the same line twice. Warden and Star Guardian fit her best in my opinion. Heartbreakers is the oddball of the bunch.

Does Quinn have chromas?

Some of her skins have chromas available. Warden Quinn and Star Guardian Quinn both got chroma sets when they released. Gives you extra color options if the base Epic skin color scheme doesnt click for you. Worth checking in the shop if you're already buying either Epic.

When was Quinn's last skin released?

Star Guardian Quinn in 2022. Part of the massive Star Guardian Season 4 event. That was almost four years ago now. Before that it was Warden Quinn in 2019. Quinn goes years between releases. Painful if you main her but at least the skins that do drop tend to be solid.

Is Quinn worth buying skins for?

If you main her or play her regularly as a top lane counterpick, absolutely. Warden at 1350 RP is excellent value. The roster is small but the quality per skin is decent. Just temper expectations since theres no Legendary tier option. Grab Warden, maybe Star Guardian, and you're set for ranked.
