Before diving into the Rift, make sure your setup is up to the task. This guide outlines the minimum and recommended system requirements for playing League of Legends on both PC and Mac.
⚠️ Note: Meeting the minimum specs means you can play, but you might experience reduced performance or visual quality. Also, Mac support is limited to x86 architecture – ARM-based Macs aren’t currently supported.

⚙️ What’s MinConfig?
Need a quick performance boost? The MinConfig file will dial down all in-game settings to their bare minimum. It’s useful if your current settings are making the game unplayable.
How to Apply:

Download the
MinConfig.zip(scroll to the bottom of the official page). -
Unzip it.

Log in to your League account.

Navigate to your Config folder:

Drag and drop both
game.cfgandPersistedSettings.jsoninto the Config folder. -
If prompted, choose “Copy and Replace.”

Start a custom game solo – your graphics settings will now be at their lowest.
🍏 Mac Requirements
⚠️ Important: Users on macOS 10.15 installing League for the first time are experiencing critical issues. If you’ve already installed on 10.14 and upgraded, you’re likely fine. New installs? You’ll need to roll back to macOS 10.14 and reinstall.
