But the skin itself has some things worth talking about, and the idea behind Fist Bumps and Festivities as a theme has potential even if Riot hasn't tapped into it yet.

So here's the thing about Fist Bumps and Festivities. Most skinlines in League have a clear visual identity you can spot from the loading screen. Coven has the dark witch aesthetic. Star Guardian has the magical girl palette. Even something niche like Cafe Cuties has that pastel coffeeshop look that ties everything together. Fist Bumps and Festivities is different because it's built around a concept rather than a visual template. The concept is celebration. Party. Anniversary energy.

Ann-Sivir-sary leans hard into this. The splash reads like a birthday card that Riot's art team drew after three energy drinks and a team bonding session. Bright colors everywhere. Confetti particles. The kind of warm lighting you'd see at an actual office party. Could be wrong here but I think the name itself is the most creative part of the whole package. "Ann-Sivir-sary." That's a top tier pun. Riot's naming team doesnt miss often but when they hit, they hit.

Visually the skin separates itself from other celebration-adjacent themes like Surprise Party or Sugar Rush. Surprise Party Fiddlesticks is a classic but it's going for horror-meets-birthday-clown. Sugar Rush is candy and dessert themed. Fist Bumps and Festivities feels more like an actual company anniversary celebration. Corporate party energy but in a good way. Think streamers hanging from the ceiling, a sheet cake in the break room, someone brought balloons. That vibe.

The color palette centers on warm golds, festive reds, and splashes of confetti-colored accents. It's clean. Not overly busy despite the party theme. I've seen this skin in maybe two or three games total since it dropped and both times the VFX read clearly on the Rift. No visual clutter issues which is honestly more than I can say for some Epic skins at 1350 RP.

What ties it together conceptually is Riot celebrating their own game's history. The "fist bump" part of the name references the post-game fist bump animation, that little moment of sportsmanship after a match. Kinda feels like Riot wanted to bottle the feeling of playing League with friends and turn it into a cosmetic. Whether that works as a skinline foundation for future releases is debatable but the intent is there.

Best Fist Bumps and Festivities Skins

I mean. There's one skin. Ann-Sivir-sary is the best Fist Bumps and Festivities skin by default and also by being the only one that exists. Not exactly a competitive field here.

But real talk though, Ann-Sivir-sary as a Mythic skin does some interesting things. The boomerang (Sivir's Q) gets the full party treatment with confetti trails and sparkle effects on the return. In teamfights its actually pretty satisfying to watch it rip through the backline with little celebration particles popping off each champion it passes through. Been running this in a few ARAM games and the Q visuals specifically look cleaner than I expected from a novelty skin.

The recall animation is where the personality lives. Sivir does this whole celebration sequence that feels earned after a good lane phase. Not sure if it's just me but the recall gave me "end of ranked season ceremony" energy. Like she just hit Diamond and is vibing about it. (Random aside: I wish more recall animations had this kind of genuine happy energy instead of the tryhard cool-guy poses most skins default to.)

For Sivir mains specifically this sits in a weird spot. Sivir has some genuinely strong skins. Pizza Delivery Sivir is a community favorite. Odyssey Sivir has clean VFX. Cafe Cuties Sivir is solid. Ann-Sivir-sary competes with those not on pure visual quality but on novelty and rarity. It's Mythic tier so you're either spending Mythic Essence or getting lucky with event rewards. The exclusivity factor carries weight for collectors even if the skin itself isnt Sivir's strongest from a pure aesthetics standpoint.

Played a handful of ranked games with it in bot lane. The auto attack animations feel smooth, W bounces read cleanly, and the spell shield (E) has a subtle party-themed shimmer that doesn't distract during clutch moments. That last part matters. Nothing worse than a flashy skin that makes you miss a spell shield timing because you couldn't read the VFX. This one avoids that problem.

Might be overthinking it but I think Ann-Sivir-sary works better as a "special occasion" skin than an everyday lock-in. The kind of skin you equip when you're feeling good, maybe after a win streak, or its your birthday and you want to match the energy. It's not the skin you grind 200 ranked games with. More of a flex pick for the collection.

Champion Roster and Thematic Fit

Now the question everyone asks about small skinlines is "who should get the next one?" and for Fist Bumps and Festivities this is actually fun to think about. The anniversary and celebration theme opens up a lot of doors. Maybe just my experience but I think champions with expressive personalities fit best here. Champions who would actually enjoy a party.

Braum feels like the obvious pick. Big friendly guy. Already has wholesome energy baked into his base kit. Imagine Braum's shield being a giant birthday cake or a foam finger. His Q could throw confetti snowballs. The ult could be a massive party popper explosion. Braum mains would eat that up and he's popular enough in support to justify the investment.

Jinx is another natural fit. She's already chaotic party energy personified. Her rockets could be fireworks (I know Super Galaxy kind of does this but a specifically party-themed version would hit different). The chompers could be party poppers. Flame chompers that shoot streamers when they trigger. Could be coping but I genuinely think a Fist Bumps and Festivities Jinx at 1350 RP would outsell half the skinline releases from last year.

Seraphine would make sense thematically but she already has so many music and celebration adjacent skins that it might feel redundant. Same issue with Lux. Sometimes a champion fits a theme perfectly on paper but already has the market covered.

Hot take: Gragas. Hear me out. Party Gragas. His barrel is a keg at a celebration. Body slam into the dance floor. Ult launches a giant present box. The man is already built for festivities. He IS the party. Been saying this since season 10 and I'll die on this hill.

Draven could work too. His personality is "celebrate me" which is on-brand for a skinline literally about celebrations. Spinning axes as pizza wheels or trophy discs or something. Though knowing Riot they'd probably pick a more popular champion for the next slot if they ever expand this line.

Tier Breakdown and Value

Ann-Sivir-sary sits at the Mythic tier which means no direct RP purchase. You're spending Mythic Essence or earning it through events. This makes the value conversation different from a standard shop skin. There's no "is it worth 1350 RP" debate because that's not how you get it.

The Mythic tier for this particular skin feels appropriate honestly. It's a novelty celebration skin commemorating League's history. Making it a standard shop purchase would undercut the special-occasion feel. Mythic Essence means you're choosing this over other Mythic options and thats where the real decision lives. In a shop that also has Mythic versions of popular skinlines like Ashen Knight or Crystalis Motus, Ann-Sivir-sary has to compete on charm factor rather than raw visual spectacle.

Fair warning, if you're not a Sivir player at all this is probably a skip regardless of how you feel about the theme. Mythic Essence is a limited resource. Spending it on a champion you play twice a season in ARAM doesn't make sense when there's Mythic skins available for champions you actually main. But for Sivir one-tricks or skin collectors who want the complete set, this fills a unique slot that no other Sivir skin touches.

The Fist Bumps and Festivities line having only Mythic representation means the entire skinline is gated behind premium currency or event luck. If Riot expands the line they'll almost certainly add Epic tier skins at 1350 RP to make it accessible. Every successful skinline needs that 1350 RP backbone. Can't build a collection page around a single Mythic drop. Not gonna lie, I think this is the biggest limiting factor for the line's growth right now.

Where Fist Bumps and Festivities Goes From Here

Real talk though. The future of this skinline is completely uncertain. Riot has a pattern of creating one-off celebration skins that never become full lines. Urfwick exists. Triumphant Ryze exists. Some skins just live alone forever and thats fine.

But the Fist Bumps and Festivities name suggests something broader. You dont create a named skinline with a two-part title for a single Mythic skin unless you're planning to revisit it. Or maybe you do. Riot has surprised me before. Season 12 I was convinced Broken Covenant would become a major recurring line and then nothing for ages. Predictions are worthless in this industry.

What I will say is the celebration theme has legs. League anniversaries happen every year. Regional events happen. Worlds happens. There's always an excuse to release party-themed content. Whether Riot attaches future celebration skins to this specific skinline or creates new one-offs under different names is the real question.

If they do expand it, the smart play would be a batch of 4-5 skins at the Epic tier during a major anniversary event. Mix popular champions with a couple of surprise picks. Give the line some visual consistency beyond just "party colors" so it reads as a cohesive set on the collection page. Right now browsing the Fist Bumps and Festivities page feels like looking at a playlist with one song. Functional but lonely.
