Urgot Skins
7 skins availableUrgot is one of those champions where the skin catalog tells a story about Riot slowly figuring out what to do with him. Seven skins across fifteen years. Not a huge number. But honestly the quality curve here is steep, and the recent ones hit way harder than you'd expect for a champion most people forget exists outside of top lane. Been playing Urgot on and off since his rework in season 7, and the difference between his early skins and the newer Epics is night and day. Real talk though, this might be one of the most underrated skin collections in the game.

How Urgot's Skin Collection Shaped Up Over the Years
Seven skins total. Two Standards from the ancient era and five Epics that came after Riot decided Urgot deserved actual attention. The timeline stretches from 2010 all the way to 2025, which means you're looking at skins that span basically the entire history of League's visual evolution.
Giant Enemy Crabgot and Butcher Urgot are the old guard. Both Standards, both from a time when "skin" meant "we changed the color palette and called it a day." Crabgot at 520 RP is the cheapest thing in the catalog and it shows. Not gonna lie, there's a certain charm to the old models if you're into that retro League aesthetic, but nobody is locking these in for the visual upgrade. They exist because they existed before the rework, Riot ported them over, and thats about it.
The real collection starts with Battlecast Urgot. That was the turning point. Every Epic after that pushed the design further. High Noon Urgot leaned into the Western fantasy. Pajama Guardian Cosplay Urgot went full meme. Fright Night Urgot did horror properly. And then Urgot the Clogfather dropped in 2025 as the newest addition. Five Epics at 1350 RP each, all of them bringing new VFX, new models, and actual creative direction. The spread is solid for a champion with only seven skins.
Could be wrong here but I think Urgot's skin release pace picked up specifically because the rework gave artists something interesting to work with. Six mechanical legs, a shotgun-knee passive, a meat grinder ult. That's a lot of visual real estate compared to old Urgot who was basically a green blob shooting acid. The newer skins take full advantage of the kit's weirdness and it shows in every ability animation.
Best Skins for Urgot
High Noon Urgot. Start here. The Western theme fits the big lumbering gunslinger fantasy perfectly and the execution is clean across the board. His Q launches what looks like a flaming cannonball. W turns the shotgun knees into rapid-fire revolver shots. The R chain and grinder get this mechanical Wild West treatment that feels heavy and satisfying. Played maybe 40 games with this one last season in Diamond and the sound design alone kept me coming back. Every shotgun knee proc sounds like a six-shooter and it never gets old. (Random aside: the recall animation where he sits on his legs like a mechanical horse is genuinely one of the best recalls in the game.)
Battlecast Urgot takes second for me. The red and black mech aesthetic works. Viktor's Battlecast line has always been one of Riot's stronger skinlines and Urgot slots into it naturally. His W sprays these red energy bolts, the E charge feels heavier with the metallic VFX, and the R grinder looks appropriately industrial. It was the first Epic he got and it still holds up. Solid pick.
Fright Night Urgot surprised me. Didn't expect much going in but the horror theme translates well to a champion who literally grinds people into paste with his ult. The VFX lean into this dark purple and green palette. His passive shotgun knees have this ghostly quality. Locked this in during October last split and it felt right for the season. The skin does horror without going over the top, which I think is harder to pull good off than people realize.
Pajama Guardian Cosplay Urgot deserves a mention because it's genuinely funny. Big crab man in a Star Guardian outfit. The joke lands because Riot committed to it fully. Pink and purple VFX, a star wand recall, the whole package. Not sure if it's just me but I see this one more than any other Urgot skin in my ranked games. People love the meme. The Q shoots a sparkly projectile and the R grinder has stars coming out of it. Ridiculous in the best way.
Urgot the Clogfather is the newest, dropped 2025. Day Job skinline which is one of Riot's more creative recent themes. Haven't had as much time with this one but first impressions are strong. The mafia wooden shoe aesthetic is unique and the VFX feel distinct from everything else in his catalog.
Skinlines and Where Urgot Fits
Urgot shows up in seven different skinlines across his catalog: Kaiju (Crabgot), Trick-or-Treat (Butcher), Battlecast, High Noon, Definitely Not (Pajama Guardian Cosplay falls under this umbrella in spirit), Fright Night, and Day Job. That's a lot of thematic range for seven skins.
High Noon fits him the best. Full stop. The outlaw gunslinger energy matches a champion whose kit is literally built around shotgun knees and executing people with a meat grinder. Battlecast is a close second because the industrial war machine angle works for his bulky frame and mechanical legs. Both skinlines let the artists lean into what makes Urgot's model interesting instead of fighting against it.
Fright Night is a natural fit too. Urgot's base kit already has horror elements. The grinder, the fear-inducing presence in lane, the way he lumbers toward you. Kinda feels like Fright Night just turned the dial up on what was already there. Meanwhile Pajama Guardian Cosplay works precisely because it contrasts so hard with his base fantasy. The humor comes from the disconnect and Riot nailed the execution.
The older skinlines, Kaiju and Trick-or-Treat, don't do much for me. They're pre-rework holdovers and the thematic connection feels thin compared to the newer stuff. Been saying this for years but Riot should honestly consider visual updates for those two. They drag down an otherwise strong catalog. (Sidebar for Urgot mains specifically: you already know Giant Enemy Crabgot is a meme pick and nothing more.)
Budget vs Premium: What to Buy for Urgot
Here's the thing with Urgot's catalog. There is no Legendary. No Ultimate. The ceiling is Epic at 1350 RP and the floor is Standard at 520. Simple decision tree.
If you're spending 1350 RP, get High Noon. Best overall package for the price. If you want a second Epic, Battlecast or Fright Night depending on whether you prefer sci-fi or horror. Pajama Guardian if you want to tilt the enemy top laner before minions even spawn. I've seen people in my Diamond games straight up type in all chat when they see that skin loading in. Psychological warfare for 1350 RP.
Budget pick is technically Giant Enemy Crabgot at 520 RP but honestly its not worth it even at that price. The model is dated, VFX are base-tier, and you're better off saving for an Epic. Butcher Urgot at 520 is the same story. Might be overthinking it but I genuinely believe the Standard skins here are worse than just running base Urgot, which at least has the updated rework model looking clean.
Best value in the whole catalog is whichever Epic goes on sale first. They're all 1350 and they're all solid. No bad Epics in the bunch. That's rare for any champion's lineup. 1350 RP feels fair for what you get with any of the five Epics, especially High Noon. Spent maybe three weeks last February going back and forth between Battlecast and High Noon before settling on High Noon as my default. No regrets.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many skins does Urgot have?
Seven total as of 2025. Two Standards from the pre-rework era (Giant Enemy Crabgot and Butcher Urgot) and five Epics that came after. Not a huge catalog but the quality on the recent ones is strong. Been saying for a while that Urgot mains eat well with those five Epics despite the low total count.
What is the best Urgot skin?
High Noon Urgot. Best VFX, best sound design, best thematic fit. The shotgun knee procs sound incredible and the R grinder animation is peak Urgot. Spammed this one in ranked for two seasons straight. Battlecast takes second place if you prefer the mech aesthetic but High Noon is the one to beat.
What is the cheapest Urgot skin?
Giant Enemy Crabgot and Butcher Urgot both sit at 520 RP. Cheapest options available. Fair warning though, both are pre-rework quality and look it. You're honestly better off running base Urgot or saving up for one of the 1350 RP Epics. The jump in quality is massive.
Does Urgot have a Legendary skin?
Nope. No Legendary, no Ultimate, no Mythic. His whole catalog caps at Epic tier, 1350 RP max. Kinda surprising honestly given how visually interesting his kit is post-rework. Six mechanical legs and a meat grinder ult seem perfect for a Legendary with new voice lines. Maybe someday. Riot please.
What skinlines is Urgot in?
Seven skinlines total: Kaiju, Trick-or-Treat, Battlecast, High Noon, Definitely Not, Fright Night, and Day Job. High Noon and Battlecast fit him best in my opinion. The newer skinlines gave artists way more to work with compared to the early ones. Solid variety across the board.
Does Urgot have chromas?
Some of his Epics do have chromas available. Check the individual skin pages for exact counts and color options. Battlecast and High Noon both got chroma sets. Worth picking up if you find a color variant that clicks with you, especially during Essence Emporium when they go on sale for blue essence.
When was Urgot's last skin released?
Urgot the Clogfather dropped in 2025. Part of the Day Job skinline. The mafia wooden shoe theme is out there but Riot commited to the bit and it works. Good sign that Urgot is still on Riot's radar for new skins, which wasn't always the case before the rework era.
Is Urgot worth buying skins for?
If you main him, absolutely. The Epic skins transform the experience. High Noon especially makes every ability feel better to use in lane and teamfights. Even if you just play him occasionally in top lane, one Epic skin at 1350 RP is worth it. His base model is fine but the Epics are on another level visually.
